There were even periods where she would skip meals because of poverty (can't remember how many times I heard "don't worry, honey, I'll eat later" or "it's fine, I'm not hungry" when growing up) and, wouldn't you know it, she was still a fat woman.

This sort of thing can actually make it a lot more difficult to lose weight/keep it off anyways. If your body is used to being malnourished then if it gets a chance to store energy into fat it'll go into overdrive to do so to help stave off starvation at a later date.

I think I remember reading one here a while back, though I can't remember the title or author. I recall it was quite sweet and cute, though.

There's that one where one of the two main characters is a model so she has to watch her weight and there's some drama between her girlfriend and her because she takes a lot of pleasure watching her girlfriend eat the things she can't while her girlfriend is worrying about her own weight because of her attractive model girlfriend. Can't remember the name of it or anything but that one wasn't really a joke deal and it wasn't really a fetish object thing like this one either.

Autumn To subscribe to a thread, you need to click on this while reading something that interests you. Then you go to your lists and it'll be right there.
Personally, I prefer going on the Forum and refreshing from time to time to see if a thread I posted on got a new post. Feels more convenient.

You misunderstood the question. They were asking about a feature for my userscript regarding a link to your own posts. (Which actually should have been posted in the thread for that but no harm done there.)

Anyways, the answer to Autumn's question is that you need to copy the link your postcount has and grab just the numbers off the end of it. For example, the link for my post history is http://dynasty-scans.com/forum/posts?user_id=17437 so I would take the 17437 off the end of it. Then just paste that into the field next to the "submit user id" button in the menu and click said button. It'll get replaced with a link to your post history.

Author already had health issues that forced him to go on hiatus for 2 years. No wonder he didn't feel confident in continuing it (which he totally planned to do) so it is nice he at least manage to end it in good spot (without ending that didn't address anything and just stopped story in random point) while still having a room for maybe trying to continue it later. I'm not satisfied with the way how entire Mawatari thing concluded but what we got wasn't that bad.

Oh yeah, don't get me wrong. It could be a far worse ending. I was just a little bit disappointed with how inconclusive it felt is all, especially after all that build up.

That was a pretty interesting read but the ending felt kinda rather inconclusive. The only thing in the end that really happened was that the fight we'd been waiting for all series happened and we got more or less the outcome that was to be expected. I was expecting more character development from the main character than that though.

That would be hilariously cumbersome... And there are no tags that always apply to stories that don't have the tags I'm after, so it'd be like chasing a runaway train. Like, I could block het, but I'd still see all the stories with no yuri tags yet have stuff like comedy or moe up the butt or 4-koma or school life. All of which can also be found in yuri stories.

It's a bit weirdly worded but the logic is actually correct. NOT (NOT X) is a double negative. The two NOTs would end up canceling each other out. So NOT (NOT yuri) would effectively be a check for a yuri tag.

Why do people keep saying Lily Love is a comedy when it has never even been tagged as such? Sure, it is light and has its funny moments, but that doesn't mean that the drama in here is always supposed to end on a happy note. Just sayin.

That is the first time he is so persistent though. Usually he gave up after 1 day. Only realistic option is for first post on new account needing to be accepted by mod. This way it is easy to see if someone is posting to troll or is a normal person. And if they try to troll after, you can just deleted their account and every new account will be with same restriction so they can't just spam and if their first post will be troll post, you can easily tell and just not accept them. Right now he feels as if he is accomplishing something by sole fact he is able to post stuff and someone might see it. If he couldn't even post 1 post, it would discourage him much faster. I suggested this before, but as I said, it usually took him few hours of bans to learn that he is not doing anything productive.

There's still easy ways around that though. And seeing as this guy is pathetically persistent I doubt that'd stop him so it'd really just serve to inconvenience new users and waste moderator time.

Where does the murderous intent come into play? I was expecting murderous intent but now I feel a bit ripped off.

On a slightly more serious note though I actually feel like the ending was a little bit of a non-ending. Even another page or two would have been more concrete but it only vaguely hints at how Hisui would respond through her face.

Yeah, I thought so... I think registering an account should at least be made a bit harder than simply putting a random username, email and password (and answering a question) if there isn't any other better alternative.
I'm sorry if I keep recommending things that are actually a pain in the ass to apply, by the way. I don't know much about website management.

You can only really make registering an account more difficult for spambots than for people who keep registering accounts. Any step that would make it more difficult for the alt would also make it more difficult for any legitimate users which would do more harm than good. The best way to deal with someone like that is just to have active and vigilant mods to take care of them.

This is all getting ridiculous. Can't admins/staff/mods do something about this guy?
Isn't it possible to ban his IP or something like that? If not, isn't there a way to reduce the number of accounts a person can make on a single computer?
Because as much as I respect people who give their opinion to others - as true as those might or might not be - I think there are better ways to do so than by straight up insulting others who disagree with them and spamming all over the place...

Keeping someone banned is a ton more complicated than simply banning an ip address or something. Ip addresses can change or the person can use a proxy. In addition to that even email isn't reliable because someone can easily register a new email address for the express purpose of making a new account here.

Everyone knows works can't stand on their own. They can only ever be compared to other works. Lily Love is clearly Citrus-san or something, lol.

mccann posted:

Well, how that wrapped up is pretty harmless and cute, it suits the story, even if it stretches credibility.

I think this chapter is kinda like the ending of Madoka Rebellion. It's actually completely logical if you think about it but people weren't really thinking about it so it ended up being unexpected instead. Also I don't really think stretching credulity is too big a deal anyways, just really depends on the story in question. You wouldn't see people complaining about Voynich Hotel stretching credulity, for example, despite being far far more unrealistic than Lily Love is likely to ever get.
