@Veya, your team can do the challenge mode versions of chapter 8 and 9? My team often struggled against the normal version of some of the later fights in particular the fights against the Rumor of Fendt Hope

@riverFlower There's no other place to discuss the game since no official works have been uploaded (due to licensing?) so this threads probably the best place to talk about the game.

I need more MomoMita, KaeRena, IroSana, and Amanecest. There's never enough of those ships.

Well I bought the platinum pack today and decided on Ren even though I have a decent number of dark magical girls already. The other ones I was eying were: Mitama (for void element), Rena (for tsundere and joining her wife Kaede), Karin (because she's cute), and Alina (for the crazy factor). Ultimately Ren won and thus is able to join her girlfriend Rika in my team.

Edit: I finished all of my PVP battles for today with a mere 17K points. Not too bad since I picked only the weakest opponents (most of whom had Iroha in their team).

Why won't the game give me my sheep horns. That's all I need to max out Tsuruno's magia level and thus get her doppel. :(

On another note today I spent four tickets. Two on the light banner which I got a copy of Hazuki, one on the dark banner where I got Emiri and another on the general banner where I also got a copy of Hazuki. With both of those copies of Hazuki I was able to get her a second slot and also have one left over. I then maxed her level out and put all mats except for the rainbow orbs which I have none of right now.

As for the mirrors ranking I decided to give it a try and won my first two rounds that I attempted using the team of: Ashley, Ultimate Madoka, Moemura, and Mayu. It's not as hard as I though it'd be, but then again, I'm picking the weaker opponent and am not really getting a good score for winning. Regardless it's nice getting double the mirror coins you normally get for wins (and losses).

She's only slightly better than Homura in the later timelines though.

I guess her almost witching out sort of makes sense given her wish was to be the one to destroy the city. I don't have her in my account so I only know what I've read so I guess I'll take your word for it.

@Veya Maybe they might make some money off the Japanese fans but would it be worth enraging the players of the NA server where Ashley was touted to be an NA-exclusive? People spent money and magia stones on content that was said to be exclusive only for them to say "lol we're just kidding about her being an exclusive". If they had said timed exclusive to NA that would be one thing, but they said exclusive to NA.

Also would you really want to trust them any more if they did this? Not me for sure. Assuming I don't drop all Aniplex run games, I'd (and others probably) would view anything they say with extreme skepticism. They did it once, what makes you sure they won't do it again.

Well it looks like the next event will be a skip for me since it's pvp focused and I have little interest in the PVP in this game. The rewards or event shop don't look that good either.

Keep in mind JP also has the Union Assault and Tricolor Raid formations which NA does not have so it's not like they don't get any exclusive content on their end either.

Isn't it just that Mitama claims to be "only seventeen" (just like Kikuko Inoue) yet she supposedly uses terms/slang that was popular between 1920-1989 and sings "old songs" according to Tsuruno?

Sure Magia Record probably isn't as profitable as Fate/Grand Order is although I'm pretty sure it makes enough to justify its continued existence in the NA side. Given that I don't know of any official figures for the game, it's also hard to tell how good or bad the game is doing, although given the Madoka is somewhat popular, I don't think they're doing that bad.

As for Ashley, I'm wanting to say she will remain a NA exclusive (for the foreseeable future). Ashley is not the first time (nor will she be the last) that there's been content exclusive to one version or region of a game since they've been doing so way before mobile gaming was even a concept. Also there's (currently) no reason to worry about content parity since the (JP, TW, and NA) servers are separate. If a JP player wants Ashley they can always join the NA server.

@riverFlower I've been hoarding items for a while and the main thing holding me back was a lack of Episode Points which prevented me from getting my magia levels up there. I still do have a bunch of my girls who are max level, but only level 1 magia since I'm focusing on the ones I like a lot first then the others.

I started in January of this year and have five doppels unlocked so far: Ultimate Madoka, Moemura, Yachiyo, Mifuyu, and Hinano. I'm still deciding on whether to finish Tsuruno or Rika next as both of them are magia level 3. Rika can't get to 5* so that means no doppel right now. Also, I might work on Ashley who's a 5* unit which does not have a doppel (yet anyway).

@EvelineClariss I just like the contrast between Yachiyo's, Mifuyu's and Iroha's faces in that image. Both Iroha and Mifuyu are blushing while Yachiyo has a straight face on.

@Veya Concerning Kanagi and Yachiyo from what I remember during the chapter that Kanagi was first introduced both of them stated it wasn't the first time they met so I'm assuming their shared past possibly had something going on. Although admittedly I'm thinking the Amane twins (or a masochist) would be a more likely romantic partner for Kanagi.

Well I suppose everyone is entitled to their opinion no matter what the facts say (or don't say) so I don't worry too much about what they think.

On an unrelated note, today I maxed out my Tsuruno and Masara's episode level; maxed out Iroha, Yachiyo, and Hinano's magia level; and got Hinano and Yachiyo's doppel so I guess today was another day of much progress. I also finished clearing the event shop.

This was a fairly interesting read and while the sex scenes did get a bit over the top at times, they still felt like they belonged in.

I used to be a single-ship person myself and still am to a lesser degree (Rika/Ren is the only ship I do for either Rika or Ren). It's just the Madoka franchise- Magia Record in particular many of the characters like Yachiyo (Mifuyu, Iroha, Kanagi) and Iroha (Touka, Yachiyo, Sana) have so many good/viable ships it's hard to stick with just one pairing for each girl...

I like drama, especially the kind you see in theaters... although somehow I don't think that's the kind of drama you're talking about. Cover looks interesting, but it's late so I'll have to check it out tomorrow.

The ability the "satisfy" Mifuyu is a lot different than the ability to do the same to Yachiyo given the difference in breast size...

Now that you mention it I think there was a decent amount on Shoujo-ai.com before it shut down years ago. I really liked that place.

@EvelineClariss Iroha's the protagonist of Magia Record so she's therefore allowed to have more than one girlfriend/wife. One of my idea relationships would be Yachiyo/Iroha/Mifuyu, Yachiyo/Iroha/Sana, or Yachiyo/Iroha/Mifuyu/Sana. Also Yachiyo always has other wives to go to like Tsuruno or Kannagi.

Well from what I've heard Iroha saved Mifuyu from dying due to a broken soul gem so maybe that means she raised one of Mifuyu's "relationship flags".

Also, the next scene is probably something like "Are you feeling left out Ya-chan. Let me kiss you too."

On an unrelated note why is Iroha so submissive/shy in many fanart/fanfics? She's not that way (unlike Sana) in the game from what I remember.

Well, I'm now done maxing out Ashley, Mayu, Kokoro, Nanaka, Yachiyo and Rika's episode levels. Am now working on Kako, Masara, Tsuruno, and Kaede.

I also promoted Nanaka to 4* and bought the Light Tercio (Water) formation.

@Nevri Not only that but you've also got memorias like these three memorias. Also so far this event isn't too tough either in the main or CQs. I just need a few more Nanaka potions to get my first copy of her.
