This one felt pretty shallow for some reason

Yeah, there's no real character development for the teen. You do kinda get a little for the older woman, but not much.

We could have used a 3rd chapter to showcase them actually dating, and the girl that left for college could have told our older character what that experience was like, filling in the details of her life when she was gone while growing closer. It would have smoothed things out better and given us greater depth to both characters, while also showing their relationship now as a couple.

I don't think they have for some time, it seemed more like they just met for the first time in years and are willing to try dating now, the last page is their first date.

Mmmm I don't like the resolution here. Even ignoring that they're like 20 years apart, she's still going for the girl who looks like the girl she used to like and that's kinda all we're left with. They've barely even interacted at all before she drops the "if you still like me later" line and then it just shows us them meeting after a long time. There's no real build-up to their relationship, years passed and nothing changed. It's just very superficial to me, I guess.

It read to me like the last page was them only starting to date, since the initial love at first sight feelings hadn't faded after years. Now that they met again they can actually get to know each other and become a couple for real, it sped through various points at the end but I wouldn't call it superficial since it felt like a starting point for now they can actually start to get to know each other romantically. That's my take away anyhow.

Yeah this part of the chapter was probably the most insane thing to me in this story lol

^You resurrect (rez) allies that have fallen by attacking them. Even Area of Effect (AOE) spells count when it comes to reviving a fallen team member. Area of Effect attacks typically hit everything within a certain radius, said radius is determined by the attack/weapon/ability/spell, in this case a spell will have a certain area that it damages and if fallen allies are in that area it helps revive them.
