They are never going to be as good as Sheska and Mikan. Just accept it now.

It's not like an end can undo whatever enjoyment you got out of things before it happens, but a crappy end can easily leave me perpetually sour about a story. It's not necessarily about whether they end up in a relationship or not, but it just needs to make sense and be good.

And there's waaaay too much fiction that fails at being good and does some last minute stupidity. Even when you totally don't expect it.

... well, if it was meant to demonstrate how horrifying a Love Potion could be, it worked well. Because obviously the Potion overwrites all resistance, even if she somehow is still aware that what's happening is wrong.

How many parallel series will mochi begin before she says "Maybe I should finish one of my series already"?

Maybe it's just my take on them, but most seem to be the type where they can be finished anywhere. If it ends like this, I'd say it's a full story with a bit of an open end. If it continues, that's fine too. Most of their work seem to be like this.

I think I've figured out the pattern to these discussions.

1.) point out an issue
2.) make an analogy/comparison regarding that issue (if it were a male, if that were real, if ...)
3.) argue that it's all fine since it's just fiction
4.) argue that fiction doesn't happen in a vacuum
5.) escalate, also insult someone
6.) escalate some more, insult back
7.) repeat until Nez comes and tells everyone to calm down
8.) post a late post about the debate despite that
9.) topic disappears until a new chapter is released

Now if someone writes a bot that'll handle all this we can shut down 37% of all Dynasty threads (specifically those that feature age gap, lolis, and the likes) and we'll still have the same amount of debate with the same results!
