I guess if the anime or manga ends on a happy note, I'll be fine. I mean, Hachi, I Am Legend, etc., do NOT have good endings. Yes, the dog gets to see his human again before, you know. That's not happy. That just makes it worse. Or in I Am Legend, how SPOILER ALERT the woman and her kid find that community of survivors. I mean, the freaking dog dies! This is the dog that his daughter gave him to look after right before their helicopter goes down! And he has to strangle the dog to death! Holy cow!

Does this mean no dog deaths in the recommendations?

I was going to recommend Berserk myself since it seems to fit that horror role quite well though, it's super crazy lol!

Teddscau doesn't want depressing tho, so I guess Berserk would be out of question...

Just like Yuri, it's forbidden by society but sometimes, it just works a lot better than a normal relationship.

Both characters are based on real English poets who were alive in the 1790s, and the VN is fairly accurate in following the lives of these two poets

You mean Asphyxia? It's kind of a depressing one and supposedly based on a true story from a while ago. Or at least the protagonist is suicidal.

I like depressing. I'm considering trying it, since it's on sale. Art looks pretty and the characters' names amuse me...

The fact that both of them are actually fairly innocent about it probably helps.

The creepier part in Student teacher is the teacher reciprocating (regardless of how innocent it is, I guess)... That I'm okay with many works with this tag is what scares me.

So... Apparently there's a yuri VN in the Humble Weekly Bundle this week. I haven't read it, but according to it's Steam page the "plot revolves around female protagonist's troubled romantic feelings for another girl. Other bi/lesbian characters exist in the story."
