Yes! The blonde in this totally reminds me of how Mira draws Mirei. Could not figure out who she reminded me of and it bothered me the whole way through.

Ayanero is actually a Valkyrie Drive fan (she has fanart of it in her twitter) so the similarities might be intentional.

As for the story itself, I love it. Great art, hilarious humor and a heartwarming ending. Just great stuff all around.

Is not that the others aren't gay per se. Is that their characters have focus on other things, plus certain bias from the original poster. Mana for example is constantly groping the other girls just because.

"Lesbefriends" means that Rinka is more of your typical "we all should be friends" type that anyone with a proper love interest/crush as is the case with the other girls. Manpakumaru is on the same boat but in her case, she's more interested on food.

Chapters 12 and 13 were the most adorable things I've ever read. Yamada is a freaking treasure while Kase is a perv. I love it.

Chapter 14 on the other hand gave me mixed feelings. Why it can't remain a cute and adorable SOL between a couple of dorks? Let Morinaga handle all the drama!

You know, I wouldn't mind if Touko is ditched and Yuu and Sayaka hook up.

TechRaptor inquired the australian board for their reasons to do this and here's the answer they got

The Australian Classification Board has responded to our inquiry regarding the rating of Valkyrie Drive Bhikkhuni. As they explain it, the reason why the game was Refused Classification is because the game promotes elements that offend standards of morality, and also uses sexuality as an incentive and reward. A major factor in the refusal of classification is due to “implied sexual violence” in the game, especially if they pertain to incentives or rewards.. The response we received cited 1(a) and 1(c) of their Code in their reasoning.

I have mixed feelings about this chapter. The part with Hina's friends was pretty amusing but the actual reactions between Hana and Hina are too dramatic for my tastes. And the posters are correct, the whole thing does reminds me a lot of Girlfriends.
