Literally some people just shut down almost to others and they only have one person in their mind.
Exactly this. This is what happens when some people fall in love, and it is not something that society teaches them. It just happens.
Although I believe we are not born blank without society. I think there are some parts in humans that are innate. For example, they made some tests in blind babies (who were born blind and have never seen other people's expressions) and when they were caressing them, the babies were smilling.
This shows that smilling is actually something inate, not something we mimic because of society. Of course living in a society and among other people we adapt. So it's a combination of the two.
I believe sexuality is inate, but the way people express it can be influenced by society.
I don't think that WDTFS will end with threesome though. I think maybe Sungji will ask from Sumin to forgive Seju, and maybe help her with her familly

We finding later that Seju is sleeping with Nami is not in any way a plot twist, it's just an asspull, it just don't make any sense after all the hate she showed.
This is already an asspull lol. The girl doesn't even look like Seju, let alone the fact that it's been 30 chapters since that, and if that was Seju, at least we should have got more signs for it.
Not to mention if they were sleeping together, Seju wouldn't behave like that to Nami, especially when they are alone.
I agree that a lot of things are pushed to be right by society, I just don't think monogamy is one of them. Yes, maybe some people are in fact polyamorous but they just don't chose to do it because of the society. I don't think that this is the majority though.
If someone asked me why I'm not polyamorous, I wouldn't say because it's wrong or because of God. I just find it,for me personally, too much to be with more than one person at the same time, and it feels pointless? I mean what's the point, really? Unless you are in lust with them and you like to have fun...beyond that I can't really see any other reason. I don't want this to sound ignorant, but sometimes it feels maybe they are looking for some traits/things that only one person can't have, so they find more than one person and get everything they want from multiple sources.
Also I think the bond is stronger between two people and deeper. At least imo.
So, I am thinking that Sung-Pyo (Mr. No-rae's Ex)'s appearance isn't coincidental. I think Hye-gyeong (No-rae's Uni BFF who witnessed No-rae's and Sung-pyo's break up and later on suffering after the break up first hand) is secretly trying to play cupid and bring back the two together. I surely didn't miss the part where she texted stuff and even approached Sung-pyo later on when No-rae got wasted.
Yeah I noticed that too. It felt like she might have texted Sung-Pyo to come. but on the other hand it was a University party, so it's normal that he appeared now. But the text was a little suspicious. Who knows, maybe he even said to her that he wants to go back with No-rae and he needs her help. Sounds too much, but not impossible
Well Faylicia, she doesn't need to want to have sex with both Seju and Sumin, but the fact that she had a dream about them having sex already shows she's not that much innocent as we think, as if she would be attracted sexually for Seju we'll probably never know, it's just a possibility that she might be really perverted, we need to wait and see how things will be now that they had sex, as for all you said, I should have imagined it was just bad paraphrased, sometimes it's hard no notice, sorry. o7
But we already know Sumin is a little pervert xD I'm not saying this as a bad thing, just something not new.
Also, sexual dreams or dreams in general can mean nothing too. they are not always supressed desires, they can be random things.
But i don't think a threesome could work with them. For it to work I think at least all of the three people should be in love, with each other o.o. Which means, Seju and Sungji should be in love with each other too, not only Sumin.
And this is nowhere near possible imo. Even if they pretend to be ok in the beggining because Sumin wants it, which I doubt anyway, Seju will start to want Sumin only for herself. Sungji will start feeling insecure about Sumin not loving her as much as she wants.
It can't work at all.
Not to mention that I don't think Sumin will want to be with Seju again, especially with Sungji at the same time..it will be too complicated, especially for someone like her.
But I kind of get why some people have problem with promiscuity, open relationships, polyamory and so on, but as always it's not so much that the person has problem with it, but that society forces us to think that only one kind of lifestyle is right. :/
Nope. Monogamy is not forced by society. Some people are just not polyamorous by their nature, it's not a society thing. Also I believe it's easier for a relationship of two people to work rather than more.
Omg seriously?? I'm going to have to go back and look at that chapter again.
Okay so I just checked it and the girl looks like she has brown hair
I'm not sureee, it does look kind of brown but I think that might be because it's dark, Nami's hair also looks darker than usual. It's likely dark on purpose so that we can't really tell whether it's pink or brown >.< Maybe Nami has been hooking with up Seju!! omg and now because of this it's quite a possible plot twist!
That is very true Nami's hair did look darker so maybe they are trying to hide that it was Seju! The plot twist continues!!
This is definitely NOT Seju!! lol

I've found this fanart on Twitter of Sumin x Seju but I don't know who's the original artist
Also... ;-;
I agree with queerturtle, and also for some people cheating with a man is way worse than with a woman, even though it's essentially the same thing.
Even if I like Seju most of the three, I wouldn't be fine with a threesome ending though. I'd just prefer Sumin to be with Sungji only. I have nothing against threesomes or polyamory, but it's something I cannot understand myself at all.
Just thinking of the person I'm in love with, being intimate with someone else too is just upsetting
Speaking of audience who reads WDTFS. Even though WDTFS is smut, it is also heavilly based on the relationships between them. I've been noticing how guys who want ecchi, they prefer the hentai type of yuri more, or bisexuals instead of full lesbian.
It has a lot (?) of sex scenes but they're not like the ones that are aimed at men at all... They are more romantic and less... gross and overly-exaggerated -.-
Basically this.
I only made an account to say this all team pink fans can suck it
You sound like you are pure trolling. This phrasing can even get you banned. You can tell your opinion without critising others', or using this language. Also, commas and full stops help people understand a paragraph better.
And the cheating has been discussed here a lot of times. The chapters have moved on, and mentioning the same things again is just running around cycles.
I think that "Love is blind" is contradicting to WDTFS tbh, since literally every gay woman (who has slept with Sumin) is hot lol.
Also sometimes fans just take something and analyse it, when it may actually not mean anything. I don't think authors put too much thought into every single detail they add.
I tend to believe that Sungji is actually the person she seems to be. Although a good plot twist would be that Sungji is a psychologist who knows how to behave to Sumin in order to heal her. But that's too overstreched haha
How bad that "something really bad" is?
Either a near-death car accident or her father dies. Seju's life is already miserable, but maybe not miserable enough considering how much shit she's still going through.
I don't think something really bad has to happen. It's too much if Sumin realises her mistakes only when Seju gets hurt imo. And why does Seju have to suffer for Sumin to learn? Not fair imo.
Sumin should at least realise it on her own somehow, not by something so dramatic happening.
Or at least a good idea would be that she needs Seju's help again, but the tables turn and Seju is not her punching bag this time
I mean honestly, Sumin broke up with the redhead, then goes back to Seju to get her confront dose, has sex with her(because this is how she deals with her problems) and then acts all vegentfull again, pushing Seju's arm away.
I think Sumin has not only to heal, but reconsider her attitude too. If she acts like that with someone, I think it is possible she won't always stay nice to Sungji too.

Or they turn Seju into a psycho that even TeamPink doesn't like her anymore...
If that happened, she must be the super cutest psycho on earth. TeamPink might come to love her even more. XD
To be honest I'd still like her, because I know they would just do that because they couldn't find any other way of giving an ending to this cycle.
What would bother me is that her haters would have another reason to throw stones at her
I don't think this is just Sumin's story, and since this is supposed to be a healing story, they all should get a happy ending, maybe not the kind of happy ending we have in mind, but in a way (at least that's what I want to believe).
This was never "Sumin story", just like FF is about both No-rae and Seol-a, WDTFS was always about both Seju and Sumin, now about Sungji too, not to mention this is a healing story, not only it doesn't make sense Seju not getting a happy ending, but fans would riot too if she didn't get one.
Don't you guys think we should lower our expectation so that If the author-nim happened to mistakenly give a bad ending for the story, we would not go burning her house? (Just kidding :D)
What can go worse than this? Maybe if Seju dies only...which is unlikely imo. And a wedding is also not possible since Gaji said so.
Cuz i dont know how the auther will separate or end seju/sumin story
Or they turn Seju into a psycho that even TeamPink doesn't like her anymore...

Going to need another read of this at some point, but just initial impression is that Seju is just so terribly human.
To be fair terribly human does not always mean not being able to move on from a situation. This doesn't make her more human than someone who does not have this weakness.
Anyway, what bothers me is how selfish Sumin actually is. When her relationship with redhead went bad, she came back to Seju again.
It feels like she kept on taking as much as she could from Seju. Seju having this awful familly, and Sumin keep on doing this, made her majorly addicted to Sumin.
I'm not convinced at all how Sungji is different from Sumin's past relationships. And if she is, we should see a better proof than just Sumin avoiding to have sex with Sungji.
Sumin reminds me of these people that will take advantage of everything they can just to feel better. And they end up being better, while the people they took advantage of get worse.
My favorite is part B. Totally needs a sequel...
Their r/s is still being friends. They both have aknowledged their feelings for each other to themselves too. Now they have to show it to each other, which is a whole different story and very complicated too.
What I get from FF (besides Seolrae) is how the characters are usually genuine and nice. That's refreshing to be honest, since in most of the stories the characters have some "villain" side of them too.
It's nice to see good famillies besides the typical disfunctional type or the dead parents in the protagonists.
Also the male characters are nice, and I don't like how in yuri they are portrayed as bad or even rapists, only to make the main couple seem better.
I agree some events don't lead to something major regarding Seol-A and No-Rae's relationship. They are just there. I guess the author could be bying some time by using them?
Or, if you think about it, for example Enah. She gave them the ski trip and it was there where Seol-A and No-Rae almost kissed. If it wasn't for her, there would be no almost kiss, and maybe this wouldn't happen at all.
Also, I never believed that a relationship (whether it's a dating, or just having feelings for someone) automatically gets more points after they start dating. Sure, we get to see another side for them, and how they act with each other, so this is good too. But for some people, if the two main characters won't start dating, their whole relationship gets deemed as worthless, which is something I don't agree with, although I understand why thiss happens.
My issue right now is, that I don't want this to start going in cycles. I think this is a good time for their relationship to take a step further, and if some external force stops them again, I think this would be a bad move from Ssamba. But it's not like I'll stop reading it lol.
Lady Lady is exactly the opposite of MireMamo. But not even them can change Mamori lol
I agree popularity does not mean good quality too. Look at 50 Shades...so popular, yet...
I think there are some ways to measure the quality objectively though.
-How and if the characters are developed, their personalities and their goals throughout the story.
-If there are a lot of needless moments and substories that give nothing of substance to the plot or characters
-If the story is a classic clihe one, that we've seen being played out numerous of times
-The moral and what the story is trying to teach to the readers
-Also Mary Sue and Gary Stue is a no. Although One Punch Man is ridiculusly overpowered without struggling to become so OP, yet people think it's the best anime.
Now if someone generally doesn't like a specific genre, or if the story contrains something they don't like, even if the story is great, i don't think they will still like it.
Also some poeple just want to see impossible things happening without seeing the protagonist struggling too much. Because this is what they desire in their lives too. An easy way to become powerfull, strong or have the love of their lives.
Stories and movies/anime is a way of them feeling like they could accomplish these things, or feeling special.
Movies like Twillight and 50 Shades are popular because they fullfil this premise. Your everyday Mary Sue gets everything she ever wanted without any logical explanation at all.
It's a psychology thing, rather than a good story thing.
No-rae probably just breathed in Seol-A's neck lol. Because when Seol-A was asking if No-rae bit or something she said no, and that it was just sudden. She was just embarassed that No-Rae acted so touchy.
Sung-Pyo showing up this time is normal, as this was a campus party and everyone from the college was invited.
I think there is a progression in their feelings. They seem to get more blushing and embarassed by things they wouldn't mind in the past, so this is the character progression regarding the romance.
Also acting as if nothing happened is something a lot of people do irl. I'd even say more than half do it

Regarding the bus accident, I think it was too early for something more to progress back then. But the best time imo was after the almost kiss.
The ex showing up again kinda got me annoyed to be honest. Because there is the possibility of him trying to get back together with No-Rae (although that won't happen) and then spending 5 chapters developing the rejection, while No-Rae and Seol-A are put on hold again.
Also we really need to see No-Rae getting frutrated too. It seems like Seol-A is taking the most of it right now. I think No-Rae actually knows what's going on, and maybe also got drunk because she's trying to escape from her feelings, but there needs something mora than just that to happen at this point. This is not strong enough to move things further, nor the physical contact. But there are still 30 chapters to go
I don't think it's necessary for a character to be a little selfish or have a dark side in them to be interesting. They can be very kind and good but still be interesting.
I just think Sungji is too passive and not assertive at all. She just sits there and just spends her time having fun. Does she reflect on her actions or Sumin's actions at all? That would make her a little more complex without having to add a bad side to her.
Also she could have confronted Sumin more head on, or even if she was more persistent to know about Sumin's past or the redhead, she would still be a good person, but more multi-dimensional.
To me, you can't just heal a trauma simply by being around a good person. They need to actively work for it, not just Sumin changing out of nowhere. To be honest, I'm still not convinced Sumin is actually changing. It feels like she's just forgetting and surpressing her past right now, by spending time with Sungji.
I can't see how Sumin has fallen so hard for Sungji to be honest. Sungji is beautiful, and Sumin is older and maybe feel like she has to be protective of her...but besides that I can't see anything else. But apparently Sumin begs to differ and that's what matters lol.
I don't understand why some people just deem her too immature and inexperienced and generally different from Sumin. Why does the girl who works so hard and genuinely loves someone has to be dumped for the ex that cheated on that someone? And it's not like we see Sumin and Seju have anything in common.
Also this is not Seju's story
Analysing Sungji's character (and pointing out her weak spots) versus thinking Sumin with end up with Seju instead of her, are two completely different things.
I'm around her age and know a lot of people around this age too, so I have a general knowledge of how people in this age group act in general. Of course everyone is different, and you can always find everyone different type of character.
Also being a main character does not mean it's a rule that they have to always end up with the other main character too.
A story can be about how the characters develop and change through it, it's doesn't always have to be about who ends up with whom.
Not saying Sumin won't end up with Sungji, just pointing that this doesn'tprove anything.
You make me really curious about that. I think Seju would leave since she told Sungji to be quiet to give Sumin a peaceful sleep. Why didn't Sungji ask Sumin on the next day?????
Because Sungji never gets angry or suspicious about anything. I mean, she saw Sumin going inside the office with that redhead, then getting out obviously upset. And apparently that wasn't a sign to her that Sumin had something more than just a "friendly" past with the redhead. She just asked once or twice and then forgot about it.
She almost never confronts Sumin. She's 24, but kinda feels younger so sometimes tbh.
I just dont understand how sumin can take all of seju gifts and cars and everything for granted like seroiusly i think seju deserves better than sumin like what's good about sumin anyway ..
But i'm team pink anyway and seju obviously loves sumin so if the auther need a happy ending for seju without sumin she need hell of good writing to do
My thoughts exactly. Sumin always takes Seju for granted. To be fair, Seju always gives everything to Sumin too. Both are at fault. I was TeamPink because Seju loves Sumin.
Sometimes Sungji still feels not enough to make Sumin change to her core. It feels so sudden that Sumin has healled from her past for Sungji who doesn't even confront her. It's quite unrealistic imo.
Also I don't believe anyone will die. I don't think the authors are the type who add some small detail in a chapter, to only use it 40 chapters later. Sungji's weight loss was probably a symbolism how her relationship with Sumin was taking its toll on her.
If anyone gets physically hurt, that would be Seju. Although I don't think she will die. Maybe Gaji will use an accident to redeem Seju's character in Sumin's eyes or something.
And then Nami will appear, and suddenly Seju will feel like her hate for her was actually surpressed love all along, so they will start dating lol
From what I see Seju is probably soon going to find out that Sehyun is actually her father, and possibly meet her mother..
Sehyun looks too young to be her father. Seju is 34, so he must be around 55 at least (minimum 50, although that's gross, considering he must fathered her at 16 with a presumably adult lady). He doesn't look that old at all, he looks around Seju's age. But not impossible either. I just don't like to see that.
Also, pretty sure Seju's mother is dead
I think Seju won't interfere much in next chapter. Whether she stays and talks with Sumin or not, i think it's more possible that she takes it to herself rather than doing anything

I can understand why they went with the cure route: culling the cast to a manageable size. Mermaid introduced a TON of characters that couldn't receive a proper focus once they introduced the cast of the other islands (let's not forget this is meant to be a multimedia franchise and thus, sequels are expected/planned)
But they could just focus on the other characters without curing the previous ones. They could simply swift to the other islands while the girls from Mermaid have escaped without getting a cure. I don't think it was necessary that they had to cure Mermaid in order to be able to focus on the rest of the islands.
Plus, I've took some glimpses of the cast of the other two islands, and they seem nowhere near as interesting as Mermaid.
I agree, but in my case I was focused on their breasts in disgust. That was the main reason I never got behind their romance. Cos their boobs were just so big I couldn't take those character seriously for even 1 second. I never understood and never will how such unnatural breast can be a turn on for anyone
Yeah I don't actually like her breasts either. But I got used to it later. Noone is 100% perfect right? And Lady Lady couple grabbed my attention sincethe very beggining to just ignore them for J's breasts xD
Rain's are not that bad. I'd say they are within the normal range for an anime girl
last edited at Mar 9, 2016 5:44PM
I agree with this
My only griefs with this show is 1) the fact it's a softcore porn (The oversized breasts make some of the girls look less pretty than they actually are. The bare tits/butts/crotches, tentacle scene, undignified crude poses, etc. make the show look cheap and hard to respect)
I think some people got the impression about the show being cheap because of this. Let's be honest, if something is not straight up hentai, trying to add a good plot with this much ecchi is not a good move. I don't think these two can be combined well. And the tantacle rape was the worst thing of the show imo.
Also poor Lady J, the first thing you notice about her is her breasts. Although her face is actually pretty.
I think they tried to make the characters unique by using different breast sizes
Also another thing, I didn't like how in the end they lost their powers. This is what made them special and badass. They could escape the island in a different way than having to get cured. And maybe Valkyrie Drive ot being a cure, but being something really poweful instead
