I guess the joke is that it sounds almost exactly like: "Kiminaru, ano musume"

Ki ni naru, ano musume: She becomes a tree, that girl

Kiminaru, ano musume: She concerns/interests/attracts me, that girl

Aya me dejó muy impresionada en este capítulo. Lo normal en un manga es que cuando una chica descubre a su amante con "la otra mujer" se desespere. Aya las vio juntas en el apartamento de Sei; y después juntas en el telo que es peor porque ya no deja dudas de lo que hicieron. Una heroína de manga típica se pone a llorar y huye corriendo. Me gustó en Aya ese carácter asertivo que está demostrando de ir a por todo y pelear por Sei.

Well, I'm a little late in commenting, but... tbh Ran said in the credits pretty much everything I could have said myself. I don't have anything to add... except, maybe, that I for one was on the God Please Let Them Be Happy side from chapter 1 -- and I have the posts to prove it!

From the first page to the last one, there was nothing but goodness and awesomeness in this manga. Some final words to summarize my take on the completed story:

Wholesome prostitution was a genre I didn't know I needed until now.

The best.

The series has been completely translated into Spanish now, all 26 chapters of it.

The conclusion is sweet and adorable and full of passionate kisses. Very satisfying.

Hehe, didn't C. B. Cebulski have the same problem trying to explain this stuff to American publishers? I remember an interview, couple of years ago, where he complained about having to explain again and again which terms were proper and which were absurd. (Like how "OEL manga" was total nonsense, lol)

Oh I know the article you mention! I have the mag in pdf. This would be the part concerning types of comics and their names:

The guy lived 2 years in China and Japan, working with Asian publishers, so he knows what he's talking about... unlike the people he had to dealt with back home, it would seem. :>

This is why I adore manga. And don't like amecomi.

That said, the "shoujo" manga Akebi-chan is drawing seems to be about a crossdressing boy and his boy x boy love affairs? Or did I got something wrong?
(The MC, the cute girl-looking blonde, is a guy and a 'he' according to the synopsis, so...)
