It's rare for me to laugh out loud as loudly as I did for that last page. Caught me way off guard.

What does she mean by "I want to be your mama"? Fuuko has mommy issues but Yuni has a good relationship with her mom from what we have seen. I doubt she will be into this.

On the contrary, Yuni will be into this because she's such a momma's girl and wants to spend more time with her. Remember a couple of chapters ago how Yuni was acting all sad and lonely because her mom was always getting home late? Also there was the bit about how Yuni was given a cat to keep her company while her mom was gone and she was heartbroken by it's death. Yuni is totally craving a substitute for her mom.

Now how does this manifest into specific behavior with Fuuko acting like her mom? Not really sure...maybe pampering/spoiling her or something? Probably something more toxic, considering what series we're reading.

Artstyle seems a bit Western comics-esque to me. Not a bad thing, just different.

My request is for any yuri with a femme top. Don't misunderstand, I'm not talking about a femme girl that has a fashion based superiority complex, a femme girl that is kind of assertive, a femme girl that is just topping during sex, a femme girl that can sustain a harem of tomboys and not any other arbitrary level of top!

I read 3 chapters and the titular character of Touma-kun is a butch who's clearly the aggressive one in the two romantic encounters so far. There's no reversal tag so I don't expect that to change.

I'll be watching for suggestions that fit the request since it sounds like it'd make for an interesting read.

100% agreed. Good thing all the chapters were short so it doesn't feel like I wasted too much time.

Kinda looks like a sketch of models posing. Such soft and sensual body lines.

So Serina seems to have quite a bit of competence navigating other people's hangups and relationships, but she appears to be completely blind to any relationship directly involving herself. I know her denseness is purely for comedy, but even Evie from BBMV would have noticed Amelia's violent fits of jealousy by now. :-)

I'm starting to use this trope as an early litmus test for whether I can expect the manga to have good writing.

Add failing this litmus test to the suddenly wtf pacing and I've now greatly lowered my expectations for this one.

Before, I didn't understand why many people said this series was Yukino and Yui following the yuri route, but when I watched the ED, I understood. Even the studio misunderstood it (or intentionally drew like those two characters for PR purposes), so it's understandable that those who haven't seen this manga think so. Showing 2 pictures of Yori and Himari in the first 10 seconds of the ED to people who haven't seen this series, I'm sure everyone will say it's Yukino and Yui.

I think justcoz meant they were enjoying this manga for the art and cute parts of it(e.g. Kasane being a goof) and are not liking the dramatic/morally questionable developments because it's not what they enjoy.

Im under the impression that they were already divorced. The mother took Meguru while her sister went with the dad. Meguru probably got neglected so after some time her dad came to pick her up. But because he's too bussy, he let the sister take care of Meguru. Thats what I think

Love how the manga balances Meguru's angst with Kasane's goofiness. Will be interesting to see what happens with that balance now that we're getting into the meat of the plot.

Didn't see a comment elaborating on Meguru's family situation prior to living with her sister.
Her mother passed away and Meguru first meets her sister at 10 years old.
Prior to that she was living with her mother, who had apparently divorced her father and was now seeing other women. Guess that means Meguru's sister had been living with their father after the divorce.

The failure of Yuni and Nanase's relationship is inevitable. After all the drama we've previously had, I expect their breakup will be low key and maybe mutual.
We only see Yuni's thoughts as she continues to see all the ways they're not compatible, but I'd bet Nanase can feel it too.

The contrast between Yuni and Fuuko's home life could not be more stark.
Fuuko lives in an affluent home with a family that gives her no love or emotional support while Yuni lives in a modest apartment where her mother showers her in love and support.
Clearly Yuni missing her cat is referencing how she misses Fuuko.
I think Fuuko recognizing the baby being adorable is her breaking free of the toxic way she views love and the beginning of learning how to love someone in a healthy way.

Yuni's mom: "Tonight I want pancakes(Fuuko), not yakisoba(Nanase)!"

That aside, Yuni's dead cat clearly represents Fuuko. The cat kept her from feeling lonely. She grew extremely attached to it and misses it now that it's gone.

Yuni was devastated about the cat dying but felt just as bad about how her reaction made her mom cry...

Most of us have probably been in a similar position as Yuki, with a friend dating someone terrible and not knowing how hard you should push to help your friend wake up to it.
