Wow, that was sweet and touching. The ruse with the wedding dress played me like a fiddle. ;_; I have no idea how Mizuki managed to distance herself from Misao for so long.

Also, I find myself thinking about how much ghosts weigh if Misao can just pull her close so easily.

And I really loved Mayo's smirk at the end of chapter five. So cute.

Loved that too. She's a sly one! And ofc it worked. Also, she probably knew about Chizuru's feelings from the moment her sister tried to mess with her. She is like a watchdog that sniffs out love interests. Oh, and Chizuru seems to have passed the test.

I liked the portrayal of the characters and I even found Mayo's sis to be likable and believable. It just goes to show that a lot of what we do hinges on the circumstances and we can't help ourselves doing things we don't mean and that a little extra help from our friends can work magic.

What does Hana-chan mean in the extra story? Liking tsundere is genetic?

Really liked it when Keiko and Saki were talking about Ran on the balcony in ch.25 and Ran seemed to be able to hear them. Such a warm and fuzzy feeling.

I thought this was more about the circumstances of love (or "thrownness" of the lives of the people who met) instead of a lack of love. Remi loves Sakuya, Sakuya loves Remilia, Meiling loves Sakuya, although it's not clear to me if Sakuya loves Meiling. What they do is make compromises, even if they are bad ones or ones everybody can live with, but not without suffering.

I'd also say 'I'm a Gate Guard' should be read before the 'Maid'-series as it is the first mention of the conflict around Sakuya being human (through Meiling's point of view/sentiments).

Poor Youmu, but Keine seems so determined to protect Mokou. :3

Probably one of the first Touhou Project doujin a lot of people read. Lots of early characterizations (read: stereotypical), but over-the-top for comedic effect, a detailed peculiar style and some references (such as the behelit).

Yuuka is cool, but I like her more with Wriggle. She is just too possessive around a dishonest Alice, which triggers her. Though it was still in cute territory in this one.
