I really like the idea of Sakuya pretty much losing all of her charisma and tidiness whenever she's spending time with her girlfriend.

Oh my Akis, so do I. I'm tired of people who think making her a rigid, humorless, almost-hypnotically-devoted maid character 24/7 is funny.

@Givemeanaccount, probably done to make sure the Image page at the end was had the the same number of images as every other page; in other words, to satisfy someone's OCD.

The interesting part (at least from a western perspective) is that traditional Japanese society has very similar attitudes regarding the "impurity" of sex despite institutional religion having a much weaker influence on their culture.

Ironic, given how A) the Bible (or at least Catholics' interpretation of it) says go forth and multiply, and B) how comfortable the Japanese were with showing nude or otherwise sexual art just before it opened up to the West (the Fisherman's Wife, anyone?)

Normally, I hate Touhou manga where a youkai character endlessly torments another character and never gets their comeuppance. This was a nice change of pace.

I'm just bothered that in this grand journey of a character's growth, she referred to discarding her past self as "killing herself".

I have to say, it's nice to see someone not pigeonhole Parsee or Murasa.

One of the problems I've always had with Touhou is how people portray almost the entire cast of characters as murderous, or at least ill-intentioned, toward humans because "they're youkai, that's the way they are", and we're supposed to be OK with that. It's good to see doujinka, and even the characters themselves, defy that trope, without being moéfied.

Every time I hear about discourse in the Overwatch fandom over whether or not D.va should be 'shipped with anyone, makes me wonder how much of Hana's personality is exaggerated by people who 'ship Angela/Fareeah.
Don't get me wrong, I love both 'ships, but I've also seen what fandom will do to people who go against the grain, especially when lesbian 'ships are involved.
