Gotta love that Quattro didn't even get any chance to gloat before getting rekt.

How is it that something that's not very good (and claiming to be yuri when it's not) like Hayate x Blade goes on for nearly 100 chapters while this gets cut after 18 (assuming volume 3 is 6 chapters)?

Guess not everyone's up for utter silliness. Which HxB does extremely well.

When I first saw the characters I thought they remind me of Minakata's design...and then I saw it is actually her xD

The first part (drawn by Banpai Akira), seems to be the only new part. The second part had been translated for quite a while now.

And Minakata's focused on Akuma no Riddle currently, so no new Touhou stuff from her for a while.

It's on YP but it seems like nobody's working on it right now. The last comment on the project discussion is 2 years old, at least.

Of course, that's bunk now, with Mangagamer bringing it on Steam (no cuts) next year.

But hopefully someone will translate the manga.

This concept is starting to get rather tired by now. Throw a group of teens in a battle royale type of situation and suddenly everyone is a crazed murdering lunatic, ohhh the edge, such dramatics. Or maybe they were all deranged to begin with, in which case how convenient! Ah well, this one is so ridiculous that maybe it has some entertainment value in that if nothing else.

If you want something that plays with the setting, with a bunch of craziness, check out Pageratta.

Interesting to see how her comedy style has changed from that time, and also humour that works much better (HxB bein pretty much the best example, though Strawberry Shake and the Marimite doujins are no slouch either).
