Suuna just casually bragging to her mom about having a sefure XD

I keep wondering how long the creator can keep the whole "sefure" misunderstanding going, and they just keep coming up with creative ideas. Every chapter is always such a riot.

Dang, based on that cover, I was expecting a cute slice of life food series, not a first chapter that ends with an attempted kidnapping.

Tsukushi's gonna blow up after this, isn't she? She already was overloaded just thinking about saying the words, a kiss might just send her to the afterlife lol

I 100% think this is going to happen. She mentioned earlier she was getting sleepy, and we know she didn't sleep the night before this trip. I'm fully expecting her brain to overload from the kiss, she passes out, and when she wakes up she'll assume the kiss was a dream.

Heyyyyyy,

I just finished reading "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All" and the story really is stuck in my head. Do you guys know any mangas similar. By similar I mean the ones that give you butterflies, all those "zhiihdhskznzbxuxndshsh" kind of feelings, and ugghhh it's so cute I'm gonna cry and hit the wall kinda stuff. If the manga comes with a cool art style then it's beyond perfect.

Thankssss.

My New Friend Wasn't What I Expected is basically "The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy At All" with the serial numbers filed off.

Anemone is in Heat isn't similar premise-wise, but definitely fits the "it's so cute I'm gonna cry and hit the wall" vibe. The MCs are so great together. It's got phenomenal art too.

Poor Hinata being a fifth wheel XD

Hirose was great this chapter too. And I think I'm sensing a side-ship brewing between her and Hatori...

So basically She Loves to Cook, and She Loves to Eat, but moe and also with aliens? I'm sold.

Also, agreed that this feels very much like a pilot chapter. The official raw has a link to a survey at the end, where you can give your impressions. I don't know how much weight the publisher would give to responses from outside of Japan, but it probably wouldn't hurt at least.

It's kinda wild that Mei literally pushes a woman down, and then immediately brings her along to ask out another woman. I'm glad she at least had the self-awareness to note that she's pretty much been doing the same thing as Karin though. XD

And as for the ending: on the one hand, my experience with this genre tells me that it's going to be a fake-out and nothing will happen, but on the other hand this is by Tamamusi so I can't count anything out.

Aizawa delivering S-tier expressions as always.

It's also interesting that it's Kasumi asking Michi if she's Michi's best friend that sets Aizawa off there at the end. Aizawa knows Kasumi is dating the senpai, so it doesn't seem likely that she's jealous in that way; even when she possessed Kasumi and tried to kiss Michi, it didn't seem like she was actually in control. Makes me think Aizawa must have found being an idol really lonely, and like Michi she's also struggling to figure out the boundary between friends and romance.

That nude cake eating page was abrupt XD

It's nice that they at least addressed how bad it was for Kase to put Yamada in the position she did. I also gotta disagree with Yamada's assertion that she has a lot more maturing to do; if anything, I feel like everything after the summer arc has been demonstrating just how much she has matured, and how it's now Kase's turn to grow up.

Yet another chapter demonstrating that this is one of the coziest series around.

And of course it's followed up by a decidedly un-cozy chapter. XD Matsuba still best granny though.

Asako's reservations here are really interesting. Similar to how it took her so long to realize her feelings for Miyako because she was so used to being the one pursuing, as opposed to the one being pursued, I'm guessing she's feeling anxious about the idea of building a life with Miyako long-term because she's never gotten to that point with her exes. I'm really curious to see how it's addressed.

And even worse, that ominous paparazzi at the end. This series has faked me out on a few things before, so hopefully it'll end up being nothing serious, but I can't help but feel their cozy life is about to get a lot more complicated.

That coincidence was pretty ridiculous though.

Somehow, I don't believe the MC when he says he's lying about wanting to become a girl. XD

And damn, I guess there's another curse bearer out there. I wonder how long it'll be before we find out who the mystery girl is, and if she's related to Shishizaki in some way, or there are multiple families with the curse.

So happy to see this story here! I've been following it on Mangadex, and it's been delightful. The one on Mangadex I think uses the Pixiv raws, and this looks like it's using the volume raws? If so, I'm curious to see if there are any differences.

Any lesser known manga where relationships are revealed positively? I enjoy things like the one girl now hangs out in the other girls friend group because they are openly together or the love interest is introduced to the parents or sister or brother.

Not sure it's lesser known, since it was on Mangadex's top series for a few weeks, but I rarely hear many people talking about Oshi no Bishoujo ni Kokuhaku sareru Hanashi, and it fits the bill. First chapter confession, they immediately come out to friends and classmates, and the more standoffish girl quickly becomes part of her GF's friend group, as well as making her own gyaru friends.

And it's not a manga, but Love and Be Loved on Webtoons also fits this to a T. The series centers around a geek x jock couple, and their friend group. The jock girl pretty quickly introduces her GF into her friend group, and she soon becomes part of the gang. I think it's really great.

I'm kinda confused about Undine. It kidnaps and attacks Sara, and then continues harassing her and the princess, ostensibly because it knows Sara is holding the royal blade and sees her as a threat. But now it acknowledges that it always knew she was never a threat. So then why did it do anything in the first place? What is it trying to accomplish?

More of Nagisa's oblivious flirting. :D

I really like the callback to Nagisa and prez's earlier conversation. That was probably the biggest scene that sold me on this series in the first place; it was so refreshing to actually have a romance series where a character is presented with the classic dilemma of staying friends vs pursuing a romantic relationship, and choosing the romance route without hesitation. And here too, with prez still feeling a bit unsure, Nagisa once again flexes her confidence. I love to see it.
