Some scanlators keep on doing series they're interested in, whether they're licensed or not.

We have yet to know "night heron"'s stance on it.

For some reason. official publication in English is always, poorly translated to the point of screwing up the chapter. The translated words are also not quite up to par. Every single edition (German, French, Spanish, Italian, Chinese) has better scanlation with good translated words and terms. There are mangas out there that is so badly translated by the rights holder that I really have a hard time to justify buying English Official version.

Oh, yeah, FIRST!
Just when I felt the ending of Chapter 10 was super hilarious, Chapter 11 is basically a "visited by friends" cliché type of plot but nevertheless it is funny. Not as fun as Chapter 10 though!!!

The November issue's chapter almost feels like it is the second half (".1") of the previous chapter. Coming out, even to best friends, it is not that "straight forward", Like real life, the MCs can be told that they are gross, and then the friendship terminated by the friends who think that it is "Gross". I think many us actually did not enjoy the aftermath of a coming out, so happy ending is IMHO close to fantasy or only happens in manga. Anyway, read it when you get the RAW, or later scanlation in order to find out what exactly happened. Consider the previous chapter (30) should be treated like a main chapter , while this chapter (31) is the ".1".(ie. 30.1)

Yurihime, yes (that is why I already have the new issue, and finished reading the individual new chapters that I followed. But two of my favorites are not in this issue (My girlfriend's not here today and Citrus Plus.)

I have never received GX and Yurihime at the same date, it is always Yurihime first, then GX. So this time it is very rare because I got them both on 15th

In any case, I can summarize Chapter 40 with one phrase:

Another example of "Do you always ‘not know what you have until it is gone' Miku is drawn in a way that looks she is very serious (having a facial expression) but something we have never seen.

I always do not like the art style, but it has a good story so I am still reading it.

No, he is the only adult of the series. He clearly is a veteran of the industry. He probably knows everything that is going on, but decides to give as little comment or advice as possible. Completely separate artistry and business. He clearly does not want to get involved with drama, because as the leader it is a very tempting idea to get involved, plus he looks like he is the oldest of them all.

He is a real professional. He was probably the one managing the band up until it is the time to get out from the underground, and knows that his understanding of music management is not up to par and needed a professional management and agency.

As for the misinterpretation of chapter 20, yeah, but I thought we all knew what was translated wrong, IIRC this has been discussed about for a long time ago. It definitely would screw everything up if not corrected. So good job for correcting it.

This manga is a mess when it comes to the story itself. This is not the mangaka's fault. Actually chapter 21 gets me even more confused. 24 pages of writing for 6 months. Only publishing it at Galette, a quarterly "doujin-anthology" publication that mainly survives with private subscription can one get away with that. Since this manga is now the only one that is still on-going from day 1 of Galette, it is hard for people to stop after subscribing for 5+ years.

Thank goodness I did not subscribe.

Oh, I do find it amusing that the first page (cover) is a long black hair girl with a big teddy bear full of seams lines....

I give up. The plot is just not realistic even it is a manga. The plot is starting to rub me on the other way. There are way too many opportunities for the MO "come out". And if you cannot figure out the MO is both the student and the record store clerk. you must be blind. Oh, their play list sucks. I'm out of here.

Finally the scanlation caught up with the tankoubon.

I'm not sure who can take the next step. Kanon has been dropping hints left and right. Now Saki also realized that she herself wants to be more than just friends.
The problem is, what does ulterior motives mean? If it is love, then it automatically get immunity. What Kanon sister concerns is, people will pretend to "help" Kanon, and expected to gain a good reputation. It does not apply to Saki, she has nothing to gain from being in a relationship with Kanon. Plus she is Kanon's mom's student. That gives Saki a place of the inside circle of Kanon.

She chose to ignore Yuni, She does not even know how to treat a lover, as in, she is supposed to say "cute" when asked, but instead "You look different today". Fuuko actually answered the question correctly and more (You are ichiban cutest), without seeing Yuni's phone. She may be a manipulating bitch. but at least she did not harm Yuni.
There are two panels on this chapter show the major difference. Panel one shows Yuni now standing up by herself; Meanwhile the very last panel shows Fuuko (after kissing Yuni who cried over Fuuko's shoulders) and says "I guess it will be OK". Compare the last panel in the (parate) translation, what Fuuko says is different from my own understanding of the text.

Ah yes, she didn't call her cute so all the cheating and backstabbing is ok. Nanase is at fault for neglecting her, but she realizes that and is trying to change for the better. Yuni didn't even give her a chance, instead of communicating she started an affair. Nanase has every right to be angry.

Yuni is incredible flawed and tbh pretty scummy, she knows full well what she doing is wrong and is absolutely torn by guilt but still uses Fuko to fill her emptiness. She doesn't love Yuni but has no problem fucking her. There's nothing wholesome about fuko either, the low key blackmailing, exploiting Yunis insecurity, using economic power to pressure her, she's is a big yikes.

Yuni could have ended the relationship before doing all of this, but now they prolly break up with Nanase heartbroken and scarred for quite some time. It just baffles me how people can defend Yuni or like Fuko. Even the author admitted that Yuni is a trashy person.

I enjoy this manga a lot, but I think it's important to realize that what Yuni is doing is inexcusable and damaging her. This won't end well for both of them, and don't see a happy end for Fuko either since chances are slim Yuni will ever love her. It's a huge trainwreck, and I love it

Yuni is a nasty person, no doubt I am sure we all agree. Her looks is her only redeeming quality. "I think it is about time" (the current translator) and "I guess it will be OK" (My personal understanding of "Soro Soro Iikana."). The difference is huge. "about time" indicates that Fuuko has set things up and know before hand what would happened as if she has further plans in store. Soro Iikana to me is actually fuuko speaking to an asleep Yuni. Maybe I am romantic, that last panel Fuuko actually shows her affection. Whether it was kissing Yuni's head, or holding Yuni's hand I have never seen an expression like that before from her. She has no clue what happened.

This chapter was pretty brutal, and well that dude got what he had coming

She now only has three Lilus left who are important enough to slay: Bodyguard in Black, the occultist, and Al-Kamil. Good job for killing that white bodyguard. Actually if you recall, Al-kamil wanted to use Ichika as a bait, so she discussed the plot with the occultist and the bodyguard in black, in her own room. The same room where a naked dead woman is hung upside down, as if it is a BBQ food.

I give up, because apparently the artist has no clue about these dances. I lost interest at this point and I do not plan to continue reading. This is 21st century and if you are writing a manga concerning social dances of late 19 and early 20 century, you better explain every single dance in the manga; not just make up stuff (like how you feel), or you better study different kinds of Waltz.

I just love Sena's dress; that is all I need to say.

Open ending... I don't like this type of ending... I mean for sure they will eventually become a couple now that they will >be so close to each other but still don't like when authors let the readers imagine what happened next. Anyway it was a >nice story tho

It is not an open ending. We all know how it will end. Open ending is a problem when you have two potential ending that are polar opposite, and you, the readers, must choose one of them. Open ending is one of the easiest way to create a fan fiction.

I think the dialogue being intentionally confusing is because the two of them are twins.

"so mom tell us about how you met momma again"
"well you see, it all started with this umbrella"
No, but rather, "well you see, It all started when we both got wet..."

Does this count as a happy ending?

Been in this kind of "relationship". Ended in tears. Should have used my brains because I saw it coming.
