I don't know what's so complicated about Erika. She just wants Koto to chose her over Aya. That's her "desire". That would resolve all her inferiority complexes and longing.
For that, she wants Koto to be clear headed about Aya and not wallow in her obsession, so she's trying to "break the triangle" in her own way, without hurting either Koto or Aya.
After all, she's the only one who knows the triangle exists.
So I came back to this series after sleeping on it for a long time, and suddenly the uncle is an aunt and people are saying it's always been that way and I'm confused. Any chance of getting the translations of the tankoubon version here, since it's apparently so different from what we have?
Also that bit with Kon dissolving inside the monster was not cool. Bring her back.
I read both and there's no fundamental difference. The story is the same, but I guess the author wanted to give more importance to that character and a hot aunt fit their plans better than a scruffy uncle.

I guess to Miyagi, Sendai (MC) is pretty much the closet person to a friend/best she actually has so far
Miyagi has friends. She's not a loner or an outcast.
She's just not in the "popular" caste.
Miyagi has trust issues and can't believe deep down that someone would be want to genuinely associate with her without an incentive (money) and Sendai, while tired by the weight of the mask she wears at all time, can't really drop it as it's become part of her.
It was one of the first manga I translated 3 years ago (along with Fuzoroi) and I can see all the ways I improved along the way. It was a real pleasure to do this manga (see, I'm not translating only toxic stuff).
There'll probably be an extra chapter in vol 5, which I'll do, of course.
In the meantime, if you liked this manga, buy it. Yodokawa deserves it.
Really sucks to be Yuki. Saw Yuni kissing Fuuko before and knows she is cheating, probably has some unrequited feelings for Nanase, and when she finally tries to hint at the cheating in her meek manner, Nanase is slamming her into walls.
It hurts my soul how this girl is being punished for doing the right thing...
I hope we find out in a couple chapters that Yuki actually enjoyed that and wants Nanase to do that again.

Well, they’ll be 3rd years by then (I’m pretty sure Aya and Koga are 2nd years at least) so they wont be in school long enough for the Kouhai to rizz Koga up (I think they’re currently halfway through their school year? Idk I’m dumb)
plus, if Aya hasn’t already won Koga’s heart in that time, then the new girl deserves a chance, lol

The truth of the matter is that someone who can't bear seeing their loved one with another person can't possibly get involved in a polyamory relationship.
Maybe it's two sides of the same coin, but it wasn't exactly that Kashiwai resented Akiyama being with other people, it's more the math of being one in three. I think the key moment is when Kashiwai looked at the calendar and realized that she would be getting face time with Akiyama two to three days a week.
I think it's relevant that the one thing we get to see about Kashiwai's life with glasses girl is that they are doing something spontaneous together. That's not something that she would have been able to do with Akiyama, not unless it happened to be during their assigned time slot.
