Wait... the heroine chick called for familiars and summoned three fire dragons??

They call her "Diana" but it must be short for Daenerys Targaryen.

Thank you, Kirin-kun, for clearing that up. Imho it should have been transparently obvious -- I mean, Aya had already realized that Koga had Onii-san's voice, Onii-san's eyes, Onii-san's piercing holes, it was only one more small step to realize Onii-san is Koga -- but judging by some of the previous posts there was indeed a need to straighten it out.

Took me a few moments to get the point. I know, I'm dumb. T_T Poor Aya, I hope she realizes Mitsuki cares deeply about her and they agree with Mitsuki to be dear friends and it eases the pain and suffering in her straight little heart.

It's always possible the nice waitress lady will get more than just hearing the story.

Mimei does need a new sweetheart now that Kasane is taken... 7w7

Stranger man plus dark alley equals...

Yeaaah. No surprise here.

I doubt these guys are even remotely aware of Komari's new powers, though, so it should be quite fun to see what comes next... :D

The one who said he's not human should have some powers of his own and might be bad news...

Wait I don't get the vinegar meme

Drinking vinegar is the most common Chinese metaphor for jealousy. You read it all the time in Chinese novels. "Every time he sees his crush flirting with other guys, he drinks vinegar." means that he's damn jelly when he sees that.

So when Kurumi saw that the other girl had a deep intimacy and familiarity with her wife that she didn't have, you can be certain that her ice cream soda started tasting like vinegar.

Ganma! pays 5k yen a page. Two 15-page chapters a month, 30 pages a month, she's making 150k yen a month. Even people who live off small part-time jobs make more. Thinking you can raise two children in Japan with that sort of income is a pipe dream. The family's breadwinner is clearly her husband, and she provides a little money on the side. That's why she said manga is her hobby.
As for being a wife and mother being a hobby too, that's a common joke you see often in manga; the meaning is that her housework is easy thanks to modern home appliances and babies are so cute she loves taking care of them, so she feels like she's more or less not doing work at all. Example off the top of my head: in ch1 of Neeko, when Neeko's full-time housewife friend calls herself a neet who does nothing but laze around? Same joke.

Message 1: "How come this manga has so many pages of comments?"
Message 2: "Gotta be because the mcs love rock bands like ### and &&& and $$$."
Messages 3 to 250: (People discuss the merits of ### and &&& and $$$ and a dozen other bands.)

Lol so which one is the band that you chose to represent with the $$$ symbol?
Nirvana?
Aerosmith?
Nah, gotta be Guns N' Roses. :P

You're so mean. T_T

« I go to this hotel place to STUDY because I found that the mood is perfect for STUDY since it's calming and relaxing and I get a better return for my STUDY effort so I should be praised for being so dedicated to STUDY hard! Understand, mom? Whaddya mean you're not buying it?? »

Not even a critical fail intelligence check would make her buy that. XD

Or maybe the endgame is just Makino getting into a university and having a goal in life outside of paying for prostitutes lol

Makino, stop being a scumbag? Quit dreaming, haha.

"I'm gonna go give birth for a bit!"
SO NONCHALANT?!!?

I don't understand. How does a woman with another woman get pregnant?
Assisted reproduction?

can't consider she is straight ?

But... but... she writes YURI!

nooooooo (mind breaks)

So do Mira and Ayanero, despite also reportedly being married.

No worries, we can cling to the small hope that they are bi. Or in lavender marriages. o3o

I know you're joking but oof. Lavender marriage. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.

While I understand straight people writing gay media, Mira is straight? Really? If ever there were yuri works I thought were definitely made by an LGBTQ+ person they’d be Mira’s.

Ikr?

"In love first come, first served"... So Riri is on lead since she's first? Plus, the first person in harem usually ends up with the lead. I'm probably biased since she's curvy ehe.

I sure hope you're right.

Why do you assume they're uncomfortable with the given context? Not attacking. Just curious because I only read one comment and they even tagged it as baseless. They could simply just be fabricating for fun.

Let me give you an analogy. You know YuruYuri? It's an immensely popular series with zillions of followers. The girls in that manga are in 1st or 2d year middle school, they are barely older than Mai. Well, get a load of this: nobody, and I mean nobody, has ever ever speculated that they are actually a bunch of 25-year-olds masquerading as seventh and eighth graders. The canon says that they are kids in middle school, so everyone thinks that's exactly what they are. Claiming otherwise wouldn't seem fun, just weird.

But then why when it comes to BCO, even tho the canon is as strong as in YuruYuri, so many readers express such a strong reject of textual fact—coming up with explanations for what doesn't need to be explained and positing that Mai has to be an adult woman, even tho this idea creates a shitload of massive complications and is way more implausible, far-fetched and problematic than the simple canon?

The most seeming answer is: because they are uncomfortable with the given context. As for why they feel this way, well, I think I can guess... but that would be a speculation of mine so I won't say it.

I actually really liked the anime for this. Can't wait to see where the series goes as a manga.

There is an anime for this? I was reading it as an original manga. :/
But now that you mention it, I only now notice there is an anime tag. Maybe I should watch it?

These chapters are so wholesome. Even the two page bookshelf spread is just precious. But they are growing up... I wonder how long till we reach a varsity arc?

^He also accused them of racism, but to be fair I'm not sure that he understands what the word means. His English is really bad, like a Google-translate.
I suspect he didn't get OrangePekoe's meaning either. He seems to think moderation is on his side.

Yeah... I see it hard to outperv a Kappa.

For what I know of Japanese myths, that's historically sound.

The bossy roommate who looks like a delinquent is actually a serious academic and a good senpai (and also has depraved fetishes)

She's not a good senpai. She's a violent bitch with anger issues. If there's something this chapter makes crystal clear it's how unhinged and dangerous she is. Perhaps she was included in the harem's roster to appeal at yandere fans?

How about, Aya is torn between "Work" Mitsuki and "School" Mitsuki. She hasn't put together that they'rethe same person, yet. Plus, everyone in class is shipping them already.

Imagine Mitsuki feeling that she has to compete with herself for Aya.

The people who write the Superman stories played with this "false triangle" trope for decades. Weren't we talking just now about Superman/Lois/Clark Kent? That's just it. Lois is supposed to have a crazy crush on Superman and Clark, who should be happy, is not happy at all: he takes it as a competition against himself and wants her to choose the "real him" (Clark) instead of the "fake persona" (Superman). But...

No matter what, I don't believe that'll happen here. I can see Mitsuki worry about Aya's misunderstanding, but I can't imagine her getting into a "false triangle" mindset and wanting Aya to choose "School" Mitsuki over "Work" Mitsuki.

Aww reading this leaves one with a bittersweet taste.
Oh wait everyone said it already. Never mind. :/

Also, all the talk we had about visual cues, but what about Mitsuki's voice? Does she alter her voice when she is working? Why would Aya not recognise the voice?

That's what ive been wondering too.

Didn't we talk about this before? I swear, this debate is going on loops.

Yeah. That's how we filled 28 pages. ¯⧵_(ツ)_/¯
