Some people can move their little toe independently from the other toes, other people can't. It has to do with the formation of your tendons. However I do not think it is possible to move the three middle toes individually like you would your fingers.

I want more than anything for Miko to live but it just feel like there would be too much conflict if she did, since Shiori wants to eat Hinako and all. I just get the feeling with the story that one of the monster characters needs to die to continue with the plot, and since Shiori has clearly been established more as the other main character to Hinako, that just leaves Miko...

That dosent seem it as the the page that says "They aren't good at being precise" and "their movements tend to match" suggests their somesort of foreign entity. And on the last panel of that page it says "here comes usa48" I'm assuming short for Usagi28, which I interpreted as meaning the 48th rabbit. So perhaps they are mass produce robots? Or aliens?

Maybe it's just me, but I notice a recurring archetype in yuri series- successful career woman who's probably the best in her given field but feels as though she's missing something in her life (i.e. romance) and may not have basic skills like the ability to keep house. I know these kinds of stories are romances, but just once, I'd like to see a woman like that who doesn't need someone else to complete her.

People who lack nothing to complete them don’t get stories written about them—it’s called “conflict” for a reason.

In addition, I wouldn't say these women specifically "need someone to complete them" they're just lonley, which is a normal human emotion that humans get as social creatures. People have monetary needs and social needs and when someone's monetary needs are satisfied, its much easier to focus on the social needs.

Hmm well I guess this means she's not capable of putting on a stream voice of her own. Since most Vtubers don't use voice changers they usually do one of the following, use their normal voice, a spin on their normal voice, or they change it up completely for streaming via their own vocal talent.

Using a voice changer is risky and especially if you're not up front about it. Since tech tends to fail a lot, everyone makes mistakes, and I believe it's limiting with doing things like in person collabs with your Vtuber friends, along with other stuff. A person using a voice changer after awhile would likely have their actual voice come out eventually...and it makes me wonder if that's the real reason the author chose for her to use a voice changer. The voice changer eventually fails or something and her friend instantly recognizes it's her. Hell I'll call it now haha

Zentreya from VShojo uses a program that takes her voice and outputs as the text to speech voice and to my knowledge no one has ever heard her actual voice.

The end of last chapter as well as Umi saying they'll be together forever earlier on is giving me some really bad foreshadowing vibes and I don't like it

I really love this series and have no plans on dropping it, but I feel like Mei was especially deadpan this chapter, like she regressed a little. I get why she works so hard, and her realizing that while washing the dishes was nice, but her stopping herself from hanging out with Yuzu seemed off this far into the series.You'd think that this far along she'd learn to take breaks, especially on her lovers birthday. And then, when she finally does spend time with Yuzu, she just kinda sits there while Yuzu cuddles her and it just all seems very one sided. And then when she talks about the weight being lifted from her heart, she dosen't even crack a smile. She says it so robotically, which would have been fitting earlier when she's learning how to be in a relationship, but not in volume 4 of the sequal manga. Similarly, Yuzu basically have to explain to Mei why being given affection by your lover feels nice, even if you're already in a relationship was so flat for this kind supposed character development. The only time we see Mei show any emotion in this supposedly touching chapter is when Yuzu kisses her ears and she blushes. I honestly love these characters and their dynamic and Yuzu has clearly matured, I just wish that after all this time we could see Mei reciprocate a little more, thats all.
