Gotta say, love when Kaoru comes up one way or another because people will break into "hate her" vs "kinda like her" warring camps.

It's the cheating. Check any manga with the 'cheating' tag, it's the same debate over and over.
Everybody wants to like the mcs, but nobody likes a cheater, so when they're the same people it's a given there's fireworks.

It's more difficult to understand all the Mayoi hate. I'm here with @Ke_Zukulenzia: if you had some negative thoughts one time you were depressed but you kept them to yourself and didn't do anything, people shouldn't be judging you. We are not puritans from Salem, we shouldn't be policing people's thoughts.

Reminds me when Marika from Arioto thought:
"I won't give in to Aya! My heart is like a tiger full of fighting spirit!"
Then Aya moved closer, and Marika thought:
"Ah, the tiger inside me just turned into a whimpering kitten."

Such a good manga, so much knee-jerk hating. Siiiigh.

I'll just make in passing a couple of remarks. First, we don't know her salary yet. If it's high enough, I bet she doesn't give a fig about the shady side of the business. Second, there's only so much gilding you can do before losing your customers. It's clear that most of those photos won't need redrawing; just some airbrushing and they go.

Oh, and one more remark (that's three, too bad): best thing in the manga? SAYU X TOMOE, BITCHES.

Finally, an update! I wonder who’s that black haired beautiful girl that Fengyu has a crush on?

I ask the same question.
I don't remember that character at all. The only beautiful girl with long black hair, as far as I remember, was teacher He.
Who's this, a totally new character? A rival to teacher He for Fengyu's heart?

"I want to be girfriends with Mako! We will go on dates to the amusement park, and walk home from school while holding hands, and exchange rosaries under the satue of Maria-sama, and..."

Then Mako says yes to her confession and immediately fucks the brains out of her after putting her in bondage.

The problem when a "pure yuri" character and a "lewd yuri" character clash. uwu

That's right: no more lesbian call girls for you, Asumi! Your playa days are over! Oh the tragedy!

PSYCH

You motherf**ker I really believed it for a moment. (◣_◢)

The manga didn't specify that this was a gay brothel or anything, either. Phrases like "fashion-health" are used for sex work in general.

Exactly. It's a conventional brothel, catering to men, and Sayu spends most of her working hours in the arms of male customers.

All those who feel their yuri is tainted as soon as a girl is contaminated by the touch of a dick, jump ship now.

Methinks yandere doesn't mean what some people seem to think it means...

Ikwym a yandere is someone whose emotions switch from lovey-dovey to murderously ultraviolent, someone criminally insane and extremely dangerous, but lately I see lots of commenters who throw around the word 'yandere' as soon as a character reveals she has a just slightly crazy and obsessive side.

A good rule of thumb should be: if things haven't gotten to the point where you wanna see that character locked in the Elizabeth Arkham Asylum for the Criminally Insane, then don't call her a yandere.

Kageko being the adorable ball of shyness and dorkiness she is, she no doubt prefers to keep her relationships private (as in, it would be mega embarrassing for her to let people know she's dating someone) so she's grateful that Sakurako gave a nonspecific answer that doesn't tell any lie or falsehood but keeps the issue vague.

She told the truth and nothing but the truth.

But she didn't tell the whole truth.

How come Pay for gay series always have the best plots?

Lesbianism and prostitution go well together? :P

I might be the only person here who disagree with you guys concerning Haruki.
I have never read a yuri manga with a character as pathetic as Haruki, although I admit I have not read enough yet. I honestly do not care what will happen to her. To have an alliance with Mochida is pathetic or even juvenile. No matter what happened, even if Sei never existed, Haruki would never managed to get together with Aya.

"Only person?"
You know, there are tons of commenters who share your views. We love Aya and Sei, we don't care about Haruki, and we are so happy that we got the best possible ending, with Aya giving us a lesson on how to heal the heart of a woman who's been emotionally hurt as much as Sei was. (Hint: with the power of love!) I think we are even the majority.... but it's maybe difficult to notice because the Helen Lovejoys around are so damn noisy.

Just help your younger self get the girl instead of being a pedo

Newsflash!

If you go for women who look like this, you're a pedo.

Idk why it’s happening but between Asumi-chan, Lez Fuuzoku, I Wouldn’t Mind Being Loved, and this series we’ve really been going through an explosion of really good lesbian sex worker stories.

Yeah. And every time, in the forum threads, there will be dumbos who will come preach to us against the evils of prostitution—and demand that the cute and sexy love stories turn dark and awful. Sigh.

More like "extremely likely". Those two seemed super excited to see their friend finally decide to join in.

There may be some trouble in that threesome, tho. Shibuya doesn't seem at all interested in Kubota. Her feelings are more like desire/interest/attraction towards Tada, and rivalry towards Kubota.

Oh and also: LOL

¿Lo qué? ¿Quieren ir a buscar una boba? (꒪ȏ꒪)
Debe ser para seducirla y llevarla a un hotel... si es boba, se dejará seducir más fácil...

In the inmortal words of Marcos Mundstock and Daniel Rabinovitch, "Fornicando a tontas y a locas... esas, esas son las más fáciles"

Jejeje, sólo hoy, diez días después, leí tu respuesta. Sorry... [¬_¬]
I laughed a lot. It's the perfect quote for the occasion. And I'm also a fan of Les Luthiers! (⌒‿⌒)

Oh? I'm not the only one around, then. Nice reference!

I don't see anyone complaining about LeNeRAKIStaCoPreProGiYoKisSoMuMoUn so I'm assuming the NTR premise was a smash hit.

It seems it was, lol. Love that name, btw. Aya sucks at shortening titles.

At this point of things, everybody and their uncle should have realized that this story has no political correction whatsoever: it's just a self-satisfaction fantasy, and the Japanese don't like pc stuff getting into their fantasies. That “purei” Aya forced Marika to do was about a lesbian girl who has a cute girlfriend but is kidnapped by a dastardly lady stalker who locks her in a basement then proceeds to rape her every day for the next few months... and the kidnapped girl loves it and totally falls for the villain: after two months in that basement, she's already saying mushy lines like "Compared to my prim and proper girlfriend, your evil kisses are SO much more unforgettable! ♡ " That's the sort of dominance/conquering/corruption fantasy Aya likes to picture in her mind while she shlicks... and it's okay, it's her damn beeswax, she's entitled to it and no real people were harmed in the process of reaching that orgasm!

In the same way, Aya and Marika are just an expression of Teren Mikami's own fantasies. Yeah, Marika is a "normal" chick who isn't into girls, and yeah, because of the bet she has to submit like it or not to Aya's sexual harrying, and yeah, after three months of this regime she will be so crazy about Aya she'll happily and completely surrender to her conqueror. That's just how the story goes. Saying things like "Marika is actually a lesbian and Aya's making her discover it" doesn't change anything to these basic facts; it's just an attempt to sanitize the plot to make it more acceptable for Western pc sensibilities. A really bad attempt, imho, because it seeks to add a correction varnish to something that originally is (and never pretended to be otherwise) shamelessly and barefacedly incorrect.

Anyone watched "Made in Abyss - Dawn of the Deep Soul"? Well done and some subtext but no real yuri; the 3 MCs seem to be moving towards a 2-girl-1-boy poly relationship.

I have yet to watch "Princess Principal - Crown Handler 01" ... but I prolly shouldn't set my hopes too high...

Korean names, gosh. I'm fine with manga & Japanese names, or xianxia & Chinese names, but Korean names give me trouble.

It's true that sometimes Korean names translated to English are very similar-sounding. Of course it stands to reason that the translation is the problem, and native Koreans have no trouble telling those names apart since they are made of completely different Korean-language characters. But when you try to do a romanization, that's when the problem starts.
Coincidentally these days I'm reading a good Korean LN that a friend recommended and I'm liking it a lot, but the romanized names of the characters can make me sweat sometimes. It goes like this: MC: Seo Yuhi; Important Chara 1: Seo Yuhui; Important Chara 2: Yu Seohui; Important Chara 3: Seo Yuhua; Important Chara 4: Yun Seohi; and a bunch more of such. It took me a lot of chapters and effort to stop mistaking them all the time, lol.

"Dead Fish" and "Vile Rapist", those descriptions hold nothing back my god.

Ikr? It's the author's way of telling us that, yes, there are a lot of problems with the behavior of the mcs, and yes, it would cause trouble irl, but this is just a manga so you should really just relax. (Lalala.)

I suspect that commenters who complain about "unrealistic asshole male characters" don't realize that all the male characters in this story are very realistic portrayals of the sort of men that populate every workplace in Japan.

OLs don't have to worry about stab wounds. I understand that that was the intent, but the result of attempting to mix office culture and life or death combat scenarios is a bunch of incoherent nonsense.

Only if you take the manga too seriously

Or, in Joel's words: "Repeat to yourself: 'It's just a comic, I should really just relax.' Lalala."
