Kinda hard to say, but this chapter picked up right where that one left off and they both have that softer shading to them, so it seems like that might have been part of the dream.

Wait. So was the flower viewing scene all just a dream? This was kinda sad somehow.

Ah, just what I needed to help get me through the afternoon. I look forward to seeing more of them being lovey dovey.

Not a huge fan of the sudden jump into NSFW territory at the beginning and I definitely could have done without the cliffhanger at the end. Beginning and end of this chapter aside, I really liked the action here. Seeing different weapons from different bastioners was really cool and the small enemy was really interesting in how it actually posed a significant threat to the characters. I still don't love the series the same way I love the one-shot, but it's got enough going for it to keep me coming back.

Anyway, Sakura appears to be down about this development, but her friend Jun seems primed and ready to help her get through this.

Wow, I am really liking this development. A lot of people are rightly pointing out Akira's horrible internal thoughts, but neglecting to mention a couple things. One, they are internal thoughts, which are, at least in my experience, always harsher and more venomous than the words I would actually say to someone because that's how it be when extreme emotions like heartbreak hit you. And two, at no point does Akira ever verbally attack Rin for her actions, choosing instead to talk her out of digging her own hole any deeper. Lastly three, a very important detail, which is that she has offered to take over the non-school tutoring, so in other words Akira will now be responsible for teaching Mayuki all about kissing and physical contact between lovers. This is an ideal plot point for developing the least developed of the three pairings: Akira x Mayuki. I'm really looking forward to Mayuki's confession and the expected Akira breakdown I suspect will follow.

As expected, this is 100% my jam. I really hope these two can stay together and that one doesn't just grow wings and fly away for good. And I think it could use a "romance" tag.

Actually, looking at the table of contents it isn't a series after all, but it's still more than a simple one-shot, which is good enough for me.

I wouldn't mind Yume trying to steal Akari away since Touko hasn't expressed concrete feelings for her, just kinda playful flirtations. I'm not usually big on love triangles but they could be a good excuse to further develop characters.

So cute! Hopefully we get more of these two some day. There's at least one more stoty out there, so I'm holding out hope.

But the ring on her finger is a red flag.

It is possible that she wears a ring so that people don't bother her when she's out. I know it isn't super common, but I have heard of women doing that. And an affair doesn't always refer to cheating. This could be referred to as one since they are keeping it a secret from coworkers.

Also, I wanted to say that I absolutely love watching these two interact. They have such a wonderful and loving relationship.

Unfortunately, the author's notes at the end say it's an adulteress relationship.

Today I learned that this story is part of a gyaru yuri anthology calles Shibuya: Gal Yuri Anthology.

Like our drinking age of 21.

Honestly the only one I'd be willing to defend. I believe the human liver is fully developed at age 24 on average, so drinking prior to that can cause developmental issues. But other than that, the US is generally pretty behind when it comes to progressive thinking. A lot of that is conservative family values, but defensiveness when it comes to laws also plays a pretty large role. So many people in the US conflate legal with right and illegal with wrong, so they become very resistant to changing many laws.

This was a really good first chapter. Their time in the hotel room was just so sweet! I would be happy if these two became a couple in the story, but even if they don't I still look forward to seeing where this story goes. Hopefully there's a good story to tell.

This one might be my favorite from this collection, but it does get a little confusing because it isn't clear at first that there's a largely unseen third character involved. The resolution was a little rushed but as always Kuwabara's art is really good at expressing what the characters are feeling. Oh, and the translator mentioned that another group already translated the other two stories. Anyone know where I might be able to find those?

I am once more left feeling like Tsubaki is in for a world of hurt. Her girlfriend is quite problematic, her friend (seemingly only friend) is an emotional wreck, and unfortunately she seems like she might be pining for the friend. No matter where the story goes, Tsubaki seems like she'll be put through the wringer. Here's hoping she gets a happy ending somehow. Also, I hope we get more side stories. I really like the side characters and the one we got already was a really nice read.

I honestly thought Wakana was gonna fall in love with Uni but there's no way they get together in a single chapter

I dunno, this chapter seemed to be showing that Wakana has fallen for Uni and has just realized it herself, but can't actually say it due to her shy nature. The last page seemed to be Uni figuring it out, so I think next chapter they will make it official. It's still a shame that we probably won't be seeing more of the other three potential couples unless there wind up being some spin-off one-shots.

Ah, what a fine conclusion to the "misunderstanding" arc. I really look forward to seeing how their relationship evolves from here. They really do have excellent chemistry together.

With these two new translations is this work now complete?

Came back to read this one again. I still love it. Couples who have trouble saying what's on their minds always strike a chord with me. Even moreso if they wind up sharing and getting embarassed about it. It's just so...human. This one just makes me feel warmer than most, for some reason.
