Well that was cheesey and a little nonsense. Can't complain, though.

It would explain why alternate MC knows she doesn't belong there since she was straight, unlike everyone else in her world. I also like how MC knows Lily's kiss wasn't just some "normal" ritual in their world or "camouflage". In other stories, the character would just wonder about what the kiss meant and come to the wrong conclusion. No need for that here

That one struck me as "I have a basic respect for readers and am not gonna be terminally stupid (and this is going somewhere)" and I really appreciated it as that.

Senpai: Will I be able to control myself?
Me the reader: I hope not :D

My reaction entirely.

This is just such a nice stupid read.

Everyone in this story is Stupid in Love™ and it's starting to get a little silly. We also forgot about heterosexuality remarkably quickly, now that I think about it.

Oh, a neutron star.

I can just feel the "This fucking straight girl, jfc" energy oozing off Senpai after her confession got dodged.

They kiss.
Me: Yes finally, a manga that makes that plot line move quickly after all!
She runs away in the rain in embarrassment and moves the main story along.
Me: Dammit duped!

At least it's a less used cliche.

Also, it seems like it still sets up a pretty good pace. The mangaka could screw it up, but by default that sets a new baseline of romantic tension that's already pretty close to the edge.

Huh? What cheating? Do you mean a girl at the end? It's Yuki's older sister xD

Her name was mentioned before https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/snow_sunflower_ch02#4 (that's why I suggest re-read the series, cuz it's been a while since we uploaded it :P)

They could go citrus-like route, what's wrong with that.

That's not what's going on there. That last scene is Kiri and the Yuki's Sister. No incest, no cheating, just a parallel couple.

"I have high hopes for you."

You can feel the double meaning of that line coming even before the payoff scene at the end, and I really enjoy that. It frames the Senpai/Amane scene at the end well, and makes you anxious for exactly what you knew was coming.

Not sure how I feel about the cheating. Oh wait, yes I do. Really could have done without that, honestly.

Why is everyone so possessive over manga? If you're not into cheating narratives it's not for you, and that's pretty straightforward.

I guess the concept of knocking on the door doesn't exist in manga.

I mean, that's not just a Japan thing. Parents be like that.

Oh god, this is gonna be another painfully slow progressions if that's three chapters.

We've been like this for half an hour.

My brain processed this as that loki "I have been falling for THIRTY MINUTES" line, and I don't know how I feel about that tbh.

Does...food coloring actually work like that?

Sure, why not?

Huh. I'm not really sure what to make of those last two pages.

Maybe she's worried that she'll wake up one day and her lover will have disappeared just like the rest of humanity and she'd have to live out the rest of her existence alone.

I choose to believe this. I kinda like having just a generally pleasant take on post apocalyptic where it's just quiet.

Also Kou was really laying it on thick "I always love it when you smile" like you've known Nene all of 5 minutes

She's gay, she can't help it.

"Melt me down until I'm positively a pile on the floor."

I'm the one who's gonna get queer feelings with this type of sexy writing...
It's sexy, lovely, it has some unique charm like Carol does. Well placed Historical tag.

It really does feel like a foreign adaptation of Carol. I kinda love that comparison.

God, why is that tail play so hot.

"What is this feeling" It's the big gay

What is this feeling
So sudden and new?
I felt the moment
I laid eyes on you
My pulse is rushing
My head is reeling
My face is flushing
What is this feeling?
Fervid as a flame
Does it have a name?
Yes!
Loathing Big Gay,
Unadulterated Big Gay!

Fuck, now I'm think about Glinda x Elphaba fic ideas again.

Ah, I am super into this kind of story. It's a pity that so much of yuri is still obsessed with schoolgirls, or else giving adult women tragic stories. Balm for the soul like this needs to be more common.

I'm with you to an extent; slice of life doesn't really do much for me. I personally need some degree of tension to enjoy it, but I really do wish there were more tense romances with adults rather than most of then being fucking fifteen year olds. (Edit: Pun not intended, but it sells the point)

I really appreciate how casually they jump to "Oh, we're doing this now." Because they're adult women who aren't fucking weird about sex. Aiko makes a clear initial move, and Miho sees what's happening and jumps right in. There's no drama to it and no one is caught off guard; it feels super natural to me.

QED = Quod erat demonstrandum.

Which always sounded to me like the most arrogant thing to put at the end of a proof.
