BTW, is it me or did the middle school friend looked more shocked than disgusted when Izumi said that? Like maybe she felt the same way Izumi did and was so shocked when she suggested dating out of nowhere, that her only reaction was that one, i mean she did kept rejecting every guy that confessed to her. Maybe she drifted away from her because she thought Izumi would never feel the same as her. Maybe this is just me pulling my yuri goggles out of my ass.

Mixers are like the shonen war arcs of yuri mangas. You just now something bad is going to happen to some of your favorite characters after they end.

I knew that bitch saw them kiss, but i was hoping that she would be like the friend from Adachi and Shimamura that just wanted to reconnect with Nanoha and not be a nuisance for the main couple, but i guess the hot senpai served that purpose already. Shame, i was beginning to sympathize with the kouhai.

I saw the tags and i still read it expecting something different since it was from Canno :(

Gonna have to read Canno's other works to cheer me up now.

Only one chapter left till Shimamura realizes how gay Adachi is for her and reciprocates. My only concern is if the final would feel completely rushed or slightly natural.

I hope Mochi will not be dragging this way too much because it's honestly cliched and contrived at the same time. Aside from the art, the story is subpar in comparison to the usual storytelling that Mochi is capable of doing.

Wait, why are you acting like Mochi is a good writer? Mochi is great at pacing his/her stories, but they're never great stories either. They're your usual yuri cliche stories paced better and with a little twist, but nothing extraordinary. Still, its only the second chapter so we were never getting the gender revelation on the second chapter. I feel like it would drag longer than Mochi's other stories, but not that much seeing how much Kanda is already thinking of ways in making her realize she's a girl. Ch. 3 would probably be about "Gotta make her notice my gender" shenanigans, MC is going to remain clueless and maybe it'll end with someone revealing it to the MC with a throwaway line.

Latest chapter reminded me why slow-burn romance are the best in yuri for me.

I don't know if i'm the only one who feels this way, but this story feels like its going to go on a whole different non-comedic route at some point. Like it feels that the comedy part is just some thin veil to cover a more dark story about Nagi's weird behavior.

Hmm I wonder about this ex. He seems like a scumbag for sure, but I wonder if he got that way because he got "nagi'd"? Like, maybe he was a struggling artist like the MC, Nagi stalked/moved in with him, and he ended up becoming totally dependent and spoiled by her 'til she lost interest. Maybe this is gonna be a wake up call for MC, because she seems like she might be letting herself go down that path a little.

Was about to say this. So far it seems like Nagi likes to be depended on, but she also hates useless scumbags who are lazy and are good-for-nothings, but that goes against her behavior towards the MC so far. She probably she makes them that way and then she becomes bored with them once they're highly dependant of her and just dumps them. But theres also the possibility that this guy is just your average "bad ex-boyfriend" character that just used her kindness to his advantage and turned Nagi into a weirdo stalker for some reason. Either way, i'm really interested to see how this unfolds.

I'd like to believe that was the Unicorn's way of getting lonely girl to say that she will never do it. Her smirk before she told her gave me that vibe.

I really hope Tanihara ends up with Kazuki. Both had the gays for each other in their own minds without realizing during that project and the mangaka girl feels more like a little sister than a romantic interest at this point. Besides, she has her own little kouhai to fall in love with eventually.

You know, the first 2 chapters were pretty easy going and i thought this was going to be a "will-they-won't-they" type of manga, but i never expected it'll get this dramatic. I like it, but i feel kinda weird about the short haired girl being suddenly in love with the MC after being all over Saki during the festival. It feels like she's there just to suffer in silence after helping the MC get the girl.

Ajiichi has a thing for having a short haired hot girl in love with one of the MCs of their stories. Also, i don't get the Izumi hate, like yeah, she's just your average run of the mill closeted lesbian who is in love with her friend but its too afraid to act upon those feelings. Nothing out of the ordinary for this author. I actually like how she seems to be the gyaru version of Kurokawa, both of them seem to like Fujishiro a lot, but still feel unworthy of her love.

There's just one thing that this story is missing: Kurokawa, at this point of things, should find herself falling hard for Fujishiro, and struggling in confusion with feelings of love and passion that she doesn't understand. You know, just like Fujishiro has been feeling and acting towards Kurokawa? That. Afaict, Kurokawa is still stuck in "I admire Fujishiro, she's the perfect princess!" and hasn't shown any romantic feelings (or feeling of jealousy) towards the other girl. This cluelessness is blocking any progress in their relationship....

I thought this trip would help Kurokawa step away from her "admiration" phase of Fujishiro and maybe even a "Shit, i'm in love with her" moment, but we didn't get any of that. We actually didn't get anything. These last 3 or 4 chapters feel like unnecesary filler since we learned nothing new besides confirming Izumi is actually in love with Fujishiro which anyone who's reading this story already knew when they hugged in that cafe. I really hope the story develops more in the next few chapters cuz it feels like Ajiichi is following Citrus formula of just running around circles until a sudden dramatic development occurs.

Well, you know what i meant. I just want to see her happy in the future. Her reaction to Chidori and Nanoha being happy broke my heart, because i've seen that "Fuck, i could've done that the whole time?" reaction a lot of times in these type of situations and it never gets better.

It will be interesting to see if Igarashi ever does return. While everyone here was anguishing about what Miss Possibly Misunderstood’s motivations and intentions were/had been, I was pretty convinced that Igarashi only really mattered insofar as she did or did not affect our beloved power duo.

“Sempai was probably just teasing me for her own amusement all along”—that may or may not turn out to be the case in the long run, but as of now that’s where it stands as far as the Nanoha/Chidori relationship is concerned.

Hey now, I'm as happy as anyone that Chidori and Nonoha got a happy ending, but i'm still of the idea that every confused girl in any yuri story deserves some sort of redemption arc. I just wish Igarashi comes later in the story and tells Chidori how her own braveness to be with the one she truly loves gave her the strength to finally start dating that cute kouhai she's been eyeing in college or whatever. Igarashi deserves a girlfriend as well. But like you said, Nanoha x Chidori forever.

Well, it finally happened and i couldn't be happier. But now i'm actually worried that the story is coming to an end sooner rather than later. Hopefully this is me just being paranoid and it last for at least another 40 chapters.

Also, since i didn't commented on the last chapter, i hope Igarashi finally manages to come out of Narnia to join Chidori in yuriland and we get to see her happy in future chapters.

I honestly liked the creepyness of this. It's been a while since i read a fucked up yuri story that had a bit of realism to it.

Yep. Izumi is quite clearly planting the seeds of uncertainty to either make a move on Nanaki on the near future, or she secretly hates Kurokawa because, just like Kurokawa herself said, Nanaki and her aren't equal at all. I think the 2nd one is the least likely scenario since she stand up for Kurokawa in the past, but maybe things changed once she found out they both had feelings for each other.

Although, now that I think about it, she never says she didn't love Chidori. She really just says that they didn't have a relationship, which I guess isn't quite the same thing. So perhaps the misinterpretation is Chidori believing their love meant something, when to Igarashi it didn't come with any of those implications.

Thats the reason i feel bad for the senpai. Like, she probably did care deeply about Chidori, but due to society, she could never be what Chidori wanted. Her never looking for Chidori after she told the usual "bUt wErE bOtH gIrLs" excuse tells me that she felt bad afterwards and gave Chidori the space she needed. Seeing how this story has been light on the drama, her intentions are probably to give a definitive closure to their relationship.
