Sure, but the way she specifically used college as a way to make this point is incredibly dumb and childish. I'd hardly call it some unusual sacrifice for her to want her younger sister to go to college, that's normal.

It's not actually about college, paying for college is just the only sacrifice she can actually stop Asahi from making to make her point. I wouldn't be at all surprised if she rescinded her refusal as soon as Asahi started making herself a priority.

This manga was cute at times, but to be honest I didn't think it was all that great, it's sense of humor is a bit too silly and irreverent, and it ultimately didn't have anything strong enough in the plot to really drag me in. Good art though.

Same. For me, there were only a few chapters that made sense or had a good feel to them. It seemed rushed or nonsensical. This could've worked as a 3 chapter short series. A one-shot even. But 13 chapters ... with a meh ending. shrug Really, it overall could've been a lot better.

"Rushed or nonsensical" is kind of Mochi's brand but it's a lot easier to overlook when the art isn't leaps and bounds better than the writing (though even then I stopped reading Mochi's other stuff a while ago for this reason).

I just don't have any patience left for these time-skip endings. A time-skip epilogue? Sure, but I'm so tired of these borderline form letter endings where one person leaves for X period of time and then the last chapter is their reunion.

Because there is peoples who like twist. If we tag too much then there is no twist, therefore no surprise. It's better to keep such twist hide. The solution will be to have some kind of spoilers tags where some tags are uner spoilers, so peoples who want to know can check it and those who want to read without knowing the twist, can too.

I consider twists less important than not triggering people with surprise rape/incest/violence especially since most twists are lazy bullshit anyway.

The thing is, they're different people so their opinion of what's major or not is different, and that's one of the point of this one shot too, you can clearly see her confused face in page 03 because it wasn't a big deal for her, nothing to worry about... And that's normal, friction like that will happen a lot in a relationship because we can't shape our lovers and there isn't a perfect one who would always do things within our expectations, they'll inevitably show up with surprises from time to time, good or bad.

If you're thinking "she should've know better" then what you're asking is a perfect lover, one who would never do anything wrong in any way or form.

It really really doesn't take a perfect partner to recognize that a permanent change to your body is something that they may think is important. This is by no means an unreasonable standard. She just comes off as a clueless moron who doesn't know her partner (or rudimentary societal norms) tbh.

Hime's ending is... I dunno. Fine, I guess. I was more or less expecting it. What I wasn't expecting, even from this manga, was for Akira to be given exactly one frame of epilogue, and then getting defined by her hopes for someone else's kid. Like, what the fuck? Okay, so she became a stylist. I guess I can see it, though I'm not sure it lines up with... anything... she ever did or said in the story. But, fine, whatever, your job doesn't have to be a poetic culmination of your character arc. So what has she done with her life? What has she done, in the intervening years? How has she been affected by the story?

...Nothing? She's a beautician? That's it? That's all we get? About a character who was more central to the story than the ostensible protagonist? Really? She just went on existing as a foil for other people to have character development through, huh? That's all she ever was, I guess. I should have seen it coming.
