I keep rereading chapter 10 because Yuu's actions and what she says is very contradicting. Why would you chase after someone and comprise in what you believe in if you don't love them. Her motives for helping Nanami is that she is feeling lonely and that they are friends is very flimsy. You wouldn’t do that for someone who is just a friend you just have to look at how Yuu treats her other friends compared to Nanami and you can see that she goes above and beyond for Nanami by far.

They go to the beach where Seol-a literally drags No-rae hands out of her pocket so she can hold them. At this point Seol-needs to push No-rae against the wall and kiss her. That way No-rae realises her feelings a lot quicker. I don't think No-rae will react unless she is pushed so why doesn’t Seol-a push her physically. I understand Seol-a can't do that unless the ex-boyfriend fucks off but dammit this is pure torture.

If they are using "Team Leader" to make the relationship look sexier then I have to say it’s really not working for me. Yuri makes everything better. If twilight had Yuri it would be 100 times better. That's why this manga is bearable if it didn't have Yuri I would dropped it in the first few chapter.

Maya hasn't been hassling Minato; in fact she has been helping her. In chapter 1 when the supervisor was telling Minato off Maya was the one to step in and help her with the scanner. Maya is very direct that's why some people feel that she is being a "bitch". Also, it seems to me that Maya likes Minato because at the beginning of the chapter she smiles at Minato and tells her to come back to her apartment again. If It was just a one night stand for her, I doubt Maya would tell her to come again. Plus getting rejected by someone you like hurts a lot and of course you would react poorly to it. It seems to me that Maya has had bad relationships with confused women before.

I think this manga is a parody of BDSM. That is why I will continue reading this manga as I currently don't have that many comedy manga's in my library.

Both of you make good points (Nevri and trafi) but I’m going to give the example of the Idol of Minegishi Minami. She got caught having a boyfriend and got demoted. But now she is the captain of Team K and is the member of the band No Sleeves. She is actually popular despite being got up in the scandal in 2013. The fans actually defended her saying that she is entitled to have a normal life. If the fans never defended her she wouldn't be popular still which means that the ban is stupid. The only people that think Idols can't date are minority of fans (obsessive low life fans) and the creators of AKB48 themselves that is really the stupid thing. The general public actually support the girls.

I don't agree with Idols having a pure girl image. If they were meant to have a pure image they wouldn't over sexualise the girls and make them do photo shoots with bikinis. I hate the MV for heavy rotation, I just like the song.

I watched the AKBingo show and have to admit it got me interested in the culture of Idols and the group AKB48 in general. AKB48 is an interesting group as there is so much to learn about it. The show made me fall in love with the first generation of AKB48 because of their interesting personality.

It’s wired how these girls when they sign a contract have a love ban on them. This means that they are not allowed to date any men at all. If they get caught they can get fired or demoted. What's interesting here is that because of the love ban placed on these girls who are anything from 11-28 years old, some of the girls turn to other girls for affection and romance. The episode 370 of AKBingo shows a game called lovey dovey-san. There is "two lesbian" Idol couple who tell the public how they met and when there first kiss was. One of the couples has been going out for 2 years and even the fans call them a couple because of how close they are and the pictures they take. It's almost like they are "okay" with these girls going out with each other. But, the general consensus is that it’s just a phase for these girls who can't have boyfriend. In my opinion though some of these girls are actually gay, of course it’s based on my gaydar and my judgement on what they say and how they interact with other girls.

What I’m saying is that even though Japan is very conservative country they are indirectly promoting that it’s okay for girls to have crushes and go out with other girls as long it’s just a phase when your young. The whole situation is bizarre to me as Japan is very conservative about sexuality in general. It’s stupid to restrict girls even if they are an Idol they should be allowed to have boyfriends if they desire to do so. I just thought it was an interesting topic relating to yuri in other media.

On a side note, I do like two of the songs by AKB48 which is River and Heavy Rotation.

I just watched Viola di mare. It’s a beautiful Italian film. I know it’s not on the list. So if anyone has run out lesbian films to watch, I wholeheartedly recommend this film.

It's a good movie, yeah. With a very, very happy end that's sarcasm.

The way I counteracted the sad ending was to watch Imagine me and you. I am whole again now.

The next logical step for Yurika is to go for someone's grandmother. That would be a hilarious chapter if that ever happened.

In my opinon Maki isn't creepy. What would be creepy is if he starts jerking off watching people's love. I would vomit if that happens. He uses words like "fascinating", which to me indicates he gets enjoyment out of watching love. Its like watching a documentary drama about people's life or watching your friend create drama from the sidelines and being entertained by it. That's not creepy.

I don't think yaoi fans have it easier. They just have more content of yaoi to read. The reason why is that yaoi has more of a wider audience. The main audience being straight females. Alot of my friends that are straight love watching yaoi but dislike yuri. While yuri is more aimed at guys, which means that there is more fan service instead of straight up romance. Women in general perfer romance thats why yoai has more content in regarding romance stories then straight up fan service. This is a general statement, I know gay guys that read yaoi and read yuri as well.

Of course lesbians read yuri as well but the medium looks at the largest demographic and determines what is the most profitable. You just have to look at the anime Free! I know straight guys that do watch the anime but the largest demographic are women. I’m trying to make the point that if you go to any manga site and click on yaoi you would see there is 50 pages or so of manga. Then click on yuri and there is only around 11 pages of manga. There is a noticeable difference between the amounts of content. That's why you might have thought that yaoi fans have it easier, which they do in regards to content. But the struggle is still the same regardless of being gay or lesbian. The whole LGBT community have it hard in alot of Asian countries.

Asukaori is it worth watching AKB48 for the yuri in it. I have watched the anime but this tv show has 369 episodes. I just want to know should I go down this black hole of watching these episodes.

I just realised that all of No-rae make her look like a hipster. Especially, the beanie hat that she wears. Or she could go full gay mode and wear flannel shirt with the beanie hat and sneakers. That way no words need to be exchanged between No-rae and Seol-a and they just straight up kiss. Because Seol-a realises through the magical outfit of the flannel shirt that No-rae is straight up gay for her.

I just watched Aimee & Jaguar movie and it’s a good film. I recommend the film to anyone that hasn't seen it. The acting of the two main actresses is brilliant. It’s an underrated movie that you hardly hear about. The film is in Germany but there are streaming sites that have English subtitles on them.

When I was at Uni I used to see my professor at our uni pub. My professor was about 29 years old and she was married. She wasn't dancing "soo sexily" but I used to talk to her cause she was nice. However, I’m going to be honest she was terrible at teaching molecular biology. I barely passed that class. A lot of professors that I had were 28-37 years old, so it was nice because they came from the same generation.
