Then watch those as occasional liberties. Not watching them is a waste, regardless if you like them or not. There are some anime that have to be watched, even just for general knowledges.

Iron of the Kabaneri was decent at best, I did enjoy watching it though

And now we have another thing we agree on (lol).

But how can your tastes be related to your girlfriend's ^^ ?

My entire anime watch criteria is pretty much revolved and based around hers, with the occasional liberties here and there for stuff of my own interest.

And as for those recommendations, the only viable thing is Code Geass, which she has probably watched in the past, though I never hear her mention it before. She pretty much dislikes any sort of drama in anime.

BanG Dream is Yunico's series composition, so it might be fun and gay.

Given Flip Flappers and Locodol, I think "might" is a bit of an understatement here (lol)

The amount of high-quality / awesome series you miss is gargantuan. You not minding to watch and liking Overlord makes it even less understandable.

My gf dragged me to watch Overlord actually (lol).

Usually our tastes are almost completely the same; with the occasional differences like me liking stuff Kabaneri, Selector Wixoss and Kuroshitsuji, all of which she dislikes. Or her liking anime like Cross Ange and Akame ga Kill which I can't be bothered to watch and actively dislike respectively.

I've heard many reviewers (like ChibiReviews and Digibro) praise that, alas, not something that I am interested in watching; hear it's getting an S2 next year though.

I do enjoy my staying! I haven't seen my friend for 6 months... So we are catching up, plus she has this adorable little daughter who is adorable
And her husband makes a delicious Cabernet wine that I'm unable to resist.. and on top today I ruined my diet with a piece of Oreo cheesecake... What to say, I need a strong willpower to resist such a bliss :)

The good news, with Comic Yuri Hime now being monthly, there's a chance that the manga will have enough materials past Ch13 to be adapted; or maybe even completed before the anime airs (unlikely).

Barring Kodama Naoko herself taking an active role in guiding the direction that the anime goes, it's the only viable way I see that can provide a decent ending for the anime.

Just had the oddest dream earlier, some things that I remembered:

• I was helping to organize an kids event during the winter, located at some frozen lake with a wooden house nearby; a fun part of the dreamwas having to scatter around 1200 (I think?) cat plushies across the area.

• After the event started, I closed my eyes and apparently teleported not only through location but also time, because the lake now had water again.

• Moving forward to some weird documentary-like sequence about ppl with bizarre pushcarts (one push cart was modeled after the Japanese Enma iirc) asking for free food and/or money from store vendors, and they don't stop until they get money.

• Then another skip into a segment where I was looking through a posh magazine with some really tasty looking confectionary and cuisine; though extremely expensive too ($4100 for a truffle and chocolate dish)

And then I woke up :p how are you guys? calling it now that everyone is asleep and I'm the only one awake :')
