I actually enjoyed reading this. It was unexpected and non-cliche...or maybe because i'm a huge fan of angst in my yuri...

The problem people have isnt with the angst, the problem is that it was A) out of left field
B) a slap across the face to yuri fans (look at the title)
C)Made the first girl look like a complete bitch

Yes, though it doesn't mean it's a bad story. So just to clarify, yes, I felt as in the picture I posted, but I still kind of liked it. Sadly, stories like this are probably kind of realistic... :(
So:

D) made no goddamn sense, why would you go that far and then say "lets just be friends"? NO JUST NO.

I think it does make some sense. From the start it was clear, for both of them, that this was kind of a game. First, you can't just fill out a marriage form, hand it in somewhere and you're good and second, Japan doesn't even recognize it for two women. The sad thing is just that the two had a different understanding of the purpose of the game. Well, maybe not even that, the one in love seemed to know her friend didn't really mean it from the start, imo.
Granted, I don't exceedingly like the oblivious girl either (I think you should always be careful with these things, for exactly the reason the story depicts...), but she didn't mean any harm. That's the tragedy in it and so I think it does make sense. A hurtful sense... :(

He should be happy that his cat doesn't do it like mine used to: Jump from quite a distance and land right on my crotch with all four feet... Worst way to awake, I can tell you.

Btw, when I saw that this is basically autobiographic from Sayman I couldn't help but wonder: Is this one of the typical "manga-anonymization" forms of drawing himself? In this case, perhaps he really does wear a cat mask in real life? Like, you know, a cannibalistic yet "cute" psychopath?

Well, this story takes place after the beauty pageant mentioned in the first part, so it is indeed a bit unlikely that her hay fever lasts that long. But considering Asaki is about to graduate and how she talks about Tsune and their relationship in her inner monologue it actually sounds as if quite some time has passed. Maybe it's an entire year, so it's pollen season again.
Anyways, no need to get upset over such a small detail.

I liked the story (both parts, I mean) a lot. Tsune especially, she doesn't seem like an overly cliched tsundere. It seems she's very shy when it comes to communicating her feelings, but not automatically as shy when other things are concerned. When there's reason (warning another about a perv, having some small talk, explaning obviously odd behavior of others), she does talk, which makes her more realistic. And yes, I can connect with such a character on a very personal level, since I'm the same (though I do talk a lot more once I start, hehe).

This is one of my favorites. I like the artwork and the sweet plot, but also the slight humor in the way they get it on so quickly.
Also, did anyone besides me notice that Sayori seems to have slept in her clothes? She definitely gets up in what she wore the evening before, and it doesn't look like a nightgown. It also appears they literally boinked the entire day away because I doubt Kimika visited in the evening and the next thing we see is Sayori being late for work... That#s what I call a happy reunion indeed!

Talvalis and nineam, I don't wanna intrude on your little fight there, but could you two perhaps do the rest of us a favor?
1. Arrange to meet in person
2. Each bring some giant foam "battle" staffs. You may optionally write "dictionary" on it, or some other metaphoric or plain battle inscription.
3. I suggest to gear up a little more (helmets,...)
4. Beat each other up until one of you surrenders or passes out from exhaustion. Don't seriously hurt each other, though, I couldn't live with being indirectly responsible for one of you being harmed!
5. Tell us who won and we will consider the winner right in the argument you seem to have here. Yup, that means we will perhaps from then on believe in a wrong definition of compassion. I'm sure most times in our life, it won't affect us.

If you want to, video record the battle and put it online for the world's entertainment. Or chose some cool location/stage equipment (remember American Gladiators? That'd be awesome!). I realize that can be expensive, so I understand if that's not possible.

Alternatively, you can also just stop fighting in this thread...

I like it very much, it gets better from chapter to chapter.
The pace is very nice, we have a shy character, but she's not endlessly fretting over what at all to do, but comes to voice her uncertainties. That's great, cause I find it more realistic in the end. A good manga about communication, finally.

Ah, yeah, that's probably a little more complex. I'd suggest a two part nav bar under the image then, with the second part basically holding a tag cloud spec:

(image)
<< < > >>
<< < (tags) > >>

The tags could then be added to the second part via a search field, pretty much like it's already done in the site wide search. Or dragged from the image. Basically it would be a dynamic list. I know it's probably a lot of coding, though, so feel free to ignore my suggestion. (Should not be necessary to say that, but I know how demanding "customers" can be ^_^)

In case it hasn't been suggested, what about a general prev/next button on the images? If you wanna just take a look at all (new) images after another you constantly have to go back to the overview site (which is nice, btw, good layout, tagging highlights).

Hm... not necessarily a real redeeming point (though often put like that in manga), but I assume the father blamed her (quite harshly, from the look of his pose) for the mother's death. Perhaps he also told her "you're just adopted anyway", if those of you who fear (blood related) incest are lucky. ^^

... just needs to be agreed upon boundaries and respect.

Well, that's exactly the thing here (well, actually more in the first chapter).

I have the feeling this is one of the series you need to change the definition of "rape" for it in order to make any sense at all... As in "in that other universe people are fine with sex without getting consent IF the predator is actually just emotionally crippled and actually loves the victim"... ahem.

Seriously, in the first chapter already the younger girl's behavior was totally unrealistic. She went back to the rich girl and more or less just let her have her way with her. That helped me read the story and see some nice points, though, since I just couldn't mentally file it under "brutal rape" due to that inconsistency. I guess that's what gives everybody this "er... weird..." feeling anyways.

really? i'll edit it ..maybe...do i need to know japanese?...hmmm...what does an editor do on a translated chapter...whatever it is ... i could do it...probably... ...hmmm... .....

Huh? How about editing the pages? As in "delete original Japanese text, replace with English version". And don't forget the cleanup and all. I'm no editor, but usually it seems to be more than a simple one-evening task.

And about the manga:
One of my favs! It's properly released here in Germany, so I have read the whole thing, too.
Just as a warning: Those several "a"s in the tag are really meant to be taken seriously. I wouldn't recommend reading it when you're already feeling down. It is a great story, though.

Is there a continuation to this? I wonder why she cried on the last page.

I think it's supposed to show that she does indeed understand her (lip-reading I guess) and was moved/happy that her mistress wants her to "stay by her side" (the typical phrase, more or less).

Perhaps that's going to be another series like Hanjuku Joshi, focusing on the further development of a relationship instead of just the beginnings. I liked that a lot.

Besides, it's Morishima Akiko, can't go wrong with her titles!

Up until the end I thought it was gonna be another of the "and then she had to regret her lie/silence for the rest of her life" types of story. Glad the characters acted in a more reasonable way.

Btw, wouldn't the tag "lesbian side-couple" apply here?

Man... I really f'ed that one up... serves me right for being a cheapskate.

Turns out the hoster I first chose is not o much concerned with data integrity... I spent the better part of my day fixing the world files that got corrupted during a regular file save, it seems.

So I switched hosters. Check my site for the new IP and such.

The good news is that I managed to update a lot of the mods and even keep the (repaired, I HOPE everything's back to a okay state) world. So update the modpack (also to be found on my site). New forge version, so you need to rebuild the jar file.

I'm uploading the world to the new hoster in this moment, so in about half an hour or so (sorry, bad connection) everything should be fine.

Hello everybody,

first post here, to those who don't know me I was until now only on dynasty's IRC channel.

As you may or may not already know from said channel, Cas will update the modpack again, soon which will wipe the current world. Since I (and at least two others, afaik) want to continue the world a bit longer, I rented my own server and am atm installing a world copy on it. I will keep the whitelist and oplist, so basically you can switch as you like.

I myself will probably also join Cas' new server, of course, everybody's welcome to do the same.

The server IP is minehost41.host-unlimited.de:25690

I will also soon add a link to a copy of the modpack so it is still archived somewhere once Cas changes his repository.

Edit: I put the modpack together with the server credentials (and installation instructions) on my site: http://gero-herkenrath.de/minecraft.html
Yeah, yeah... feel free to stalk me...
