I don't believe there's any cause for people to dislike Madoromi so much. I think she's a great character.

I think a 10ish year gap is way worse than a 2 year gap, specially when one of them is a child.
If you're an adult dating another adult with a 10 year gap, you do you, but if you're an adult dating a child, please see yourself out

Personally i never minded Omichi. She does feel a lot like a third wheel in the action, (which, understandable) but i never wished she wasn't there when she appeared~

Episode 6 of the anime is out and there's quite a bit of divergence from the manga (especially the ch.17 part). I'm curious which version is closer to the LN, the manga or the anime?

Also, iirc I remember ppl being disappointed of the manga's adaptation of Momo's fight vs the dragon, hoping the anime would do a better job. Idk if the anime took better from the source material but i do have to say that seeing her just straight up pummel that dragons face in was pretty satisfying xD

I know that characters are routinely claimed as being examples of aro-ace representation, some of which turn out to be anything but that (most notoriously Yuu in Yagakimi), and lacking explicit in-text labeling like in this story I don't know exactly how one would definitively distinguish between the two types. But I would foresee not doing so leading to a lot of tagging wars.

I've never really seen Yuu as aro-ace rep but rather as a really great example of demi rep, even if not intended as such. At least she resonates very much with me and my own deminess~

These side stories go in such weird directions. Not like the main series didn't at times but these really feel like the mangaka went "okay, lets put all the weird/creepy shit that was too much for the main story in here" xD

why use QPQ instead of telling people you're dating/partners/married? It feels like an just extension of conflating romantic and sexual

People love inventing labels and terms even though it's redundant, sometimes they do so thinking it's special. Take pan and bi as an example. Pansexual is basically bisexual by definition but they reject the latter for some reason. Or demisexual and sapiosexual, which is not an orientation because both straight and LGB people can have this affinity. The former towards emotional connection while the latter, intellectual connection. Everybody has their own unique mix of preference towards people, relationship, and things. New labels aren't necessary for all of these.

First of all, you're literally wrong about the pan and bi thing. Also, you don't get to decide what labels are redundant and which aren't. If someone made a new term for themself bc all the other existing ones didn't feel quite right, then that's all the reason and justification they need to do so.
