Just fucking decked her.

Well that saves time to put on rouge... just get slapped around by a pissed off girlfriend. And she got a free nose job, too.

Question, out of curiosity: do people in Japan really have to visit a hospital for something simple like a cold?

Her fever was pretty high (3.2 ℃ above the average body temperature in Japan). And since it's apparently her first fever ever, it's good to be safe and check what might have caused it.

It's 103 °F for her temperature. It's bad, but not serious enough to go to emergency room over it.

What's with the "we're dating aren't we" bubble with Fukami standing over Kase' s bed. Did she over hear Kase say that to Yamda, over the phone? If so, when?

I think it was the start of the party city story arc. She over heard it when we first see her appearance in the manga. I think she still thinks kase-san is straight.

That was funny about Yamada being suckered into a crappy part time job (it’s a bad sign when a bunch of previous employees quit before you start working there—pay sucks, crappy boss, business going bankrupt). A friend using her like that isn’t a friend in my book.

Mononucleosis? Commonly shows up in college. Kase-San has previously shown a lack of awareness towards personal items. (wearing wrong shorts/underwear? It doesn’t take much of a stretch of imagination for kase-san to accidentally grab the wrong tooth brush—which easily harbors the virus for weeks from an infected person)

Aside from tooth brushes, Kase-san would have to be kissing something to get her sick like that. If it is “Mono”, it will threaten her Track & Field #1 ranking and she could ultimately drop out of college due to fatigue lasting for months.

How’s that for drama?

Hmm, two drawing styles? One for the couple and the other for the fireworks?

Ahh, it’s nice to reminisce such a great series. Thanks! Oh, shouldn’t there be a pairing tag with this drawing?

^ There is a manga for that. I forgot the title though.

The pacing of releases is what’s burning out the readership. Yes, there can be angst, but there better be extra chapters released at the same time to keep the angst-y story/plot moving forward.

Artwork isn’t the best... it’s more like rough drafts of the best stuff out there.

The author has painted herself into a corner to where there’s no happy ending possible. It would be entertaining to hear all of the creepy outcomes that would be considered a happy ending.

I don’t care about the story nor the characters... in fact, I’d consider a character death to be easy and tidy for the author to use to help resolve the story.

Nice to know how long the series will be. Took a bit of exposition to get the setting and plot rolling, but that’s what it takes for a short series to establish itself.

Looking forward to reading the rest of this.

Wow, the ecchi tag doesn’t do this drawing justice.

Yuriwhale? I should have read author’s name before looking at the drawing... my appreciation for his work just went up a notch.

Do love hotels command a premium or discount compared to other hotels?

I mean, I haven’t been in them, but are love hotels cheaper than, for example, say: a motel six? Motel 8?

As for the manga: it was funny... mutual erotic curiousity mixed with booze and dreaming makes a good tale through Wonderland.

I vaguely recall reading such a story here before. I think it's been done before.

I shudder at the thought of what was whispered at the end of chapter 3. Since the school is a kind of incubating prison, I can easily guess what was said.

I am glad I wasn't the only one confused. Some very good probable explanations in here.

@Clueless1 that is not a completely true statement. It is highly probable that you are correct that there would be too much drama, but women could have a 3-way relationship if they practice yoga concepts enough. If one or more of them realize that drama is just stories and stories are not helpful. And having steadiness of mind and not reacting as much.

That's a good possibility. I hadn't figured a low-key, love-equally philosophy would help center their emotions without things blowing up like a tempest in a teapot. Its really hard to have three people agree to live together like that. So, how could a society generate such a philosophy? I remember a sci-fi writer who wrote short stories assuming such relationships are commonplace--as a matter of lowering living costs or handling specific tasks assigned by an overlord who cloned them. It was interesting stuff... But it wasn't Isaac Asimov grade material.
