So... "Deep Sea Blue Like Me" is the 1st book, "Your Straightforward Expression" is the 3rd book and "Passion" is the 4th book.

Are we missing the 2nd book, or is it just me missing something?

Always check release post. I actually already finished the second book but I had to use Chinese raw. A benefactor said that they have the book and is willing to scan it for Girls in Boxes, they're just waiting on that person. At worst we can always release the version from Chinese raw but I would prefer not to do that if I can help it.

Are the four books connected? Cause if so I gotta group them together xD Naturally when the second one is released.

This only covers lil moments of hijinks, assuming that these little moments defines the characters entirely is kind of a stretch. It uses a sort of comic strip format to deliver these moments/jokes.. it is all there is. And ofc, played out a for the sake of comedy.

As discussed earlier in the thread, they're also based on the artist and her wife, exaggerated quite a bit for effect. It's doubtful that Danai is actually that rough in real life.

I mean, yeah, ofc, I just find it unpleasant to read

Hah, well don't read it and then complain about finding it unpleasant to do so. A little bit like a youtubers commenter that leaves a comment just because he/she dislikes the video, after every single video. For no particular reason. Just do what I do when I don't enjoy something, which is don't read/comment on it :P

I thought it was the Legally Married one that was serialized.

Nevertheless, this one felt too 'normal' compared to his previous works. Maybe because of the lack of any solid relationship progression?

It's cancelled as stated, meaning it's stopped publishing and there will be no new chapters.

Though I really doubt the author's intention was for this anything to be but a lighthearted thing...XDDD Just my two cents.

I get that it's lighthearted but still, as Nezchan said Nico's being a manipulative jerk. Guess I've had enough of tsunderes xD Or at least ones who are irrational. That kind of relationship won't last, no matter how much they love each other.

Yuri-ism picked up a serialization of Itou Hachi in Hirari, but that was for the Legally Married series right?

I heard a lot of good things about Okujou no Yurirei-san. It's very popular in Japan. Even got two volumes of spin-off manga (run in Hirari, by Itou Hachi) and drama cd.

About the upcoming steam release. I saw the CGI and yep, the sex is soft, but it's there, it's on screen and you can hear all moanings and dialogues. I'm happy we will get uncut version on steam. Anyway, this and SonoHana is a must buy for me.

I stopped watching just to avoid seeing that, actually. By the point I stopped, I believe Kuroneko barely interacted with Ayase.

Well not entirely spoiler, but long story short. Ayase and Kuroneko were pretty much at each other throat over the siblings relationship. As Kuroneko supported them, while Ayase totally against it.

And since Ayase is a bit of sadist and Kuroneko awared of it. So Kuroneko tried to "consolidate their bad relationship" by allowing Ayase to dominate on her. Which Kyousuke walked onto them the first time they do it. And the two were described as out of a yuri screen, looking very excited and was breathing hard

Later on, it was Kirino turn who walked onto them, indicating that Kuroneko and Ayase did continue doing (what they called a communication/ ritual) behind everyone's back. Kirino even questioned the two were going out

That doesn't necessarily mean that they're going out though. It may as well mean that they're friends with benefits :P Not saying they haven't gotten together, but from what you describe it's not a romantic relationship.

And if you had googled the vn, you would have seen kissing and handholding pics from it as well. :)

If there's a different endings and such, then it's more of a dating sim... Unless Japan is just using vn as an umbrella term now days.

There's more than 7 endings and most of them are 'bad endings'. Add to that there are a lot of choices and it gets fun xD

Mostly looking for yuri action, but whenever I look into Flowers it just seems rather... unsatisfying onee-sama stuff, lol.

Anyone knows how far the yuri goes? kissing? handholding? via dialogue only?

Kinda sucks how Janet King makes you choose between a really healthy and loving relationship with her wife or the relationship with Erin that everyone wants to happen. I lowkey don't want Ash and Janet to break up but I smile everytime Janet and Erin have a scene together and kinda really want them to marry. Let's see what Season 2 has to offer in the Erin x Janet department.... probably nothing :/

So far there isn't going to be a second season. The last episode aired in December 2011. Unless they announced something recently. The page on IMDB about the last episode states the "series last episode" not season.

Does it involve choices? I didn't see any, thought it was linear (or w/e the word is), therefore pointless to actually play the VN if videos are just there.

Well a visual novel really is just reading, which I believe Flowers is... a dating sim is the type that gives the choices.

As far as I know it's just nudity, no sex or anything. I don't know what's classified as softcore, so if it's that disregard my post xD Also it's probably a good publicity for them, supporting lesbian characters and everything, I doubt they'd change their mind.

Edit: disregard the bit about no sex, there is sex, it seems that the genitals are obscured or something. Whatever the case is, we'll see when it comes out.

The good thing is that in the mangagamer blogpost, they said "Let's make 2016 yuri year" or something very similar, so here's hoping they'll pick up more yuri titles :]

Soooo, his/her previous works that are on here are basically prequels to this? At least in the ones they are not together.

The cap is close enough and as for the hair, think it's important to keep in mind there's a difference in details put in a manga and an illustration. Personally, I think they look pretty much the same.

I would agree if they weren't colored in the manga, but they are :P

I'm pretty sure those squids are the same couple, they're just in full colour.

The squid on the cap is different as well as they don't have the patterns on their 'hair'
