please answer... Seriously, I still can't figure out if Seju was on her back or front when she flopped on the couch in chap.8.

And I only saw Seju's ring.

on her back, and they both were wearing their rings:

BTW, Foxy Lady, I thought I would copy paste this translation of previous QnA, (the translation was on 4chan)

A) 정말 술이 웬수다.
Gyeomji) Wine is a turncoat. Go easy on the alcohol, you guys too. 술이 웬수죠. 여러분도 술 적당히 드세요.

Alcohol/Wine is a turncoat; first a friend, then an enemy.
Go easy on the alcohol, you guys too. 술이 웬수죠. 여러분도 술 적당히 드세요.
In translating English to Korean, wine is often translated as alcohol(술).
In this sentence, wine means alcohol, not specifically wine.

also,

-**To be her family, to forever by her side**
- To forever love her, to say "I love you" everyday and to stay with her and never let go

I think its 2... She is still doing the emphasized statement until now.... Actions speaks louder than words.

in ch74, she wanted to break this promise too, she didn't appear and said: "I don't care anymore".
in ch54, it seemed as if Seju was reminding her of the promise:" he would be, right? because I'm also his family"
and look at Sumin's facial expression.

However as for other theories about she was tricked, she is being used in that situation, well, I let it open for discussion, I wont disregard nor I agree with it. This is sth I'm waiting if the author could give us a straight answer or not in the future.

well, I remember once I hinted that.."Seju wasn't consentant".. it never occured to me that it could be something else..Alcohol poisoning, until Foxy Lady mentioned it.. the mere fact that we have many explanations for the situation means that the bartender incident is not how it appears.
my biggest concern is not whether they explain it or not, but how the couple would deal with it after knowing the truth.

and since you mentioned that the break up happened while both of them were new to sex and both of them took their time till they had it the first time, is another reason to exclude cheating!
back to the phone call of ch49, so many messages in that call alone.. it seemed as if TG were teaching ,not only Sumin, a lesson.

About the rings..
Welcome aboard of overthinkers.. but yes!.. these are the questions that should be asked.. did they excahnge rings during one of Seju's birthdays.. and maybe that's why Sumin avoided making anything about it !

But the parallism is in act again.. ch52,53

And Nora, the cryptic comment is about our life not to be taken in a linear direction but a loop.

But this time, a healer, a bridge is there.. This is what Sumin meant to Seju when Seju said "I love you" in chap. 64, you should have said it when I need it. Seju never came back ten years ago. But Sumin never knew Seju was nourishing an alcoholic poisoning during that time....

I just got it!!!

is Hello Studio really that close to Sumin's house?!.. the cafe where she met Sungji in ch79 is the same as the one that Seju and Sungji sat at in ch83 !
basically a walking distance.
Sumin liked the house because it was close to work.. which means that they already were moved to the new building and Seju was the president of Hello Studio in ch74 flash back..
but why did her office look different than her current one!

Away from touchy topics, there were alot of comments on how Seju's beauty is flourishing more with each chapter. However, what Gaji did in improving Sungji is even better.. try opening the first chapter and this current one.. put them side to side! ..now you can see it!

only in ch57, Seju knew that she failed to identify Sumin's inferiority complex.. only in ch72 I think Sumin was able to identify Seju's insecurity.

10 years ago, both of them expected the worse, Sumin expected that she wasn't enough and Seju would find a better person compared to her "too ordinary" self, on the other hand, Seju expected Sumin to hate her and leave her one day. Those two things collided together within the bartender incident.. as if both of them saw what they expected becoming a reality. Their main issue wasn't only lack of communication, but that they loved each other so much but didn't believe in each other just enough.

about the bartender incident, I was discussing this issue previously with other readers, the thing is, if we assume that the story is not fully told.. and we haven't seen a crucial part of it yet, what will happen to Sumin if she knows! isn't easier to forgive this issue as it is now rather than discovering that the past 10 years were a misunderstanding all along?.
while it could help them fix their trust issues, it could on the other hand destroy Sumin who deals badly with guilt. In short, it will damage both of them more.. unless TG do some magic (which I think they are capable of btw.)
I never believed that what we saw is the whole thing.. hints are scattered everywhere.
does the story need to tackle this issue before it ends? probably not.

also, congratulations on having a waifu?

thanks, I wish you all the happiness with someone you love and loves you back.

That image, I would say that Seju was always like that, and became so passive to Sumin like that, because she had to always deal with her family bullshit, knowing how they treat her, endure all Sumin throws at her must be easy.

It shows also that Seju always has this attitude of taking responsibility, while Sumin admits her habit of shifting the blame.

btw, Sumin blaming Seju for her parents death wasn't out of her depression imo, it was out of her unreasonable stupidity beyond reality.

I would say both of their personalitiies, not just Sumin, are caused because they never moved on and how they dealt with their problems in complete opposite ways, by basically one becoming completely active agaisnt the other who became completely passive to anything she does, so they basically got stuck in a vicious cycle, them having depression is in my opinion just another symptom of how bad their relationship is

I agree with this assessment.. thank you!

I agree with Nora89 that after so long, most of their problems, like depression, was caused and perpetuated by themselves, so you can't really put Sumin depression on her parents death anymore, because with time that reason was lost in my opinion.

and again, Thank you for understanding what I meant and putting it in a decent paragraph with much less angry tone than mine XD

Seju was still a part of the process, she wanted it, she acted to get her this way so both ladies are to blame, not only Sumin and her depression which evolved into something else during those 10 years.

more of shifting the blame !!
is it fun to shift the blame really?? modern age maturity ?

Dear Thiaguinho-sama, Thank you for the informative post, I am aware of what depression is and how serious it could get, when I talked about it in here I meant the cause and effect, is depression what causes Sumin character to be this irresponsible, or her irresponsible acts made her feel depressed?!. As a person who strongly believes in internal locus of control, I could never accept blaming others or running away from issues for 10 years with the excuse that the person is simply depressed!. And by the way, I never deviated from Sumin's character. (whom I think her personality is majorly flawed that even if she wasn't depressed, she is still selfish, immature and irresponsible).

I didn't mean to offend any person who suffers from depression, specially those who seek help when they need it.. and the fighters! those have my utmost respect.
For those who blame everything wrong in their lives on being depressed and prefer to sink deeper, should not be excused and should be held responsible, their depression is not their only issue clearly.

the topic was brought up by Es0tric as a mean to empathy Sumin's character. Hence, my view may only be considered in that context.

The unofficial translator last week has the time to talk to me and yoonie here about his translation and explained some of difficulties he faced, specially when the sentence has no subject or whatsoever. He tried his best, but maybe it was TG intention to add ambiguity to it.

Edit:
I wrote the above part before seeing your comment,
Anonymous__

Oh my god I'm reading my own translations and I want to just stop now
I see so much stupid sentencing and nonesensical stuff
Most of the meanings are destroyed by just literally translating word for word instead of conveying what the sentence is talking about...

now about the cake sentence, you made a good choice because it DOES mean two things (one is the cake, the other is consistent with something else that Sungji said, even if I don't agree with your secondary perspective of the sentence).
Stop beating yourself up for it XDD it's really okay.

I only wished if you kept Sungji's quote of Dawoon's words the same.

I read some other anonymous writing about the idiom thing and Seju begged something that Sungji gave her.. what what !! out of context completely, annnnnd very subjective.

I can never believe that the meaning that the anonymous said is true, whether the sentence is an idiom or not. It's so out of context, and inconsistent with Sungji's flow of conversation.

Let's wait for the official translation.

ah, by the time the new chapter comes out, it may feel like reading two new chapters at once XD
