I don't understand why some people find AnR boring. The characters are actually interesting and different than the usual pretty and nice girl stereotype.

I think that's because maybe the yuri fans wanted more yuri, and never really got something very yuri (?). And the action fans simply didn't like it because it was all girls cast

Anyone know the approximate timeline of this series? I've been assuming it roughly follows the Japanese school year (sakura in bloom for graduation and all), but it just occurred to me that Suzu's July birthday doesn't fit.

I think Japanese schools start April and they have a summer season too. If you noticed how in some schools they have Summer uniforms and Winter uniforms

Do you feel it weird? Seju hasn't done anything to Sumin x Sungji, especially when she knew that Sungji is special, I think she can sense it now and Nammi has been giving her hints about this but unlike that red head, she just let things be. So weird, considering she was made to be possessive, creepy and have a messed up love for Sumin. I

Tbh I never saw Seju as a psycho or very possesive. What she said "Sumin always comes back to me" is possesive but it was her inner thoughts. And to be possesive, she has to act on it too.
There were some other instanses of her acting like that, like the redhead, but to me this is not enough to categorize her as possesive. Although she does have the tendencies.

So I guess I'm the only one who like Seju but also want her to hit bottom of hurting to see how far team gaji is gonna push her down? I know I'm crazy XD. But maybe, sometimes, you have to hit bottom to be able to get better, some mad logic I'm having here :))

But she has already hit bottom. Her familly hates her and calls her bitch, the only person she ever loved is moving on and acts like a jerk to her, and her father is dying.
The only worse thing that could happne to her is if she died. Or if she has a serious accident.
Which would be too much for Gaji to write. They should find another way if they want to create drama and get Sumin's attention to Seju

I think if we put in a very very big picture, not just this forum, people who like Teamblonde will be way more than teampink/Seju, no matter how many times you see Seju suffered, simply because people love fluff, cute interactions between lovers, they don't like drama, heavy feelings stuff or so on. And to be blatantly honest, the whole 52 chapters of WDTFS, it is processing to make people love SungjixSumin more, not sure about the remaining chapters though

Personally, I don't get the appeal of fluff without anything more into it. It makes me bored quickly and I just drop it.
It feels too unrealistic (not that there are not couples irl like this) and something that we've seen a lot of times before.

When I first read wdtfs, I thought Seju was just an ex and didn't pay a lot of attention to her, so I wasn't really interested in this manhwa a lot tbh lol. But when I reread it and realised what was happening, I found it interesting for this reason. I mean...taking Seju completely outside of wdtfs. It would only be some well drawn manhwa with a basic couple. Because Sumin and Sungji's relationship development so far is not very interesting imo.

So given that, most would already expect that sooner or later this would happen. But from story-telling perspective, it is very loose and poorly executed. I especially agree with yoonie0104 that the timing does not seem appropriate at all.

If this supposedly represents Sumin's big progress, it feels very jumpy and sudden that it's hard for me as a reader to comprehend. I'd be honest that this chapter is disappointing for me.

My thoughts exactly. Tbh I don't even care about TeamPink anymore. I do care about what will happen to Seju in the end, but her ending up with Sumin feels meaningless now. Because, even if Seju loves her, I can't like Sumin's character very much. She is really confusing, and generally I dislike it when someone is trying to cover their problems instead of solving them.

These high and lows in a story keep the suspence up to the readers, but right now they are so frequent, that have lost their importance and are getting boring.

All I have to say is that team blonde is in a bubble now a bubble that will burst in the next few chapters when sungi find out about seju and sumin ...cuz if sungi doesn't confront sumin sumin will always want seju in the end .

I'm not so sure about this. Sungji seems like the type who doesn't push for questions. She probably knows there is something up with Sumin, but this is her way of dealing with things.

So what if it's just couple rings. Sumin has been hiding at least half of her life from Sungji. She was quite upset about her past and Seju some days ago. And now she goes to Sungji and pretends everything's fine, completely ignoring what happened earlier.

Btw, Sungji seemed more mature in this chapter, the way she was drawn and her expressions.

Sumin's actions make no sense. Unless there's something in the translation that explains it nicely...
How can someone go from being upset for a person, to proposing to another person in just a few days...It makes me think Sumin is just afraid of being alone

All I remember is a fan started guessing that the second arc is about Seju, because her face was the only one shown in the picture of the new banner on lezhin when the secon arc started, and assumed that the first one is about Sumin because, again, her face was the only one shown. So all this arc is about this and that are all just an assumption. It was never said that it's true. People just started assuming that this arc is more about Seju and the first arc is about Sumin, and the third will be about Sungji.

Yeah I know that's what's been said, I just don't really buy it lol

Lol I thought these arcs were officially like this from Gaji during all this time xD Story wise, this doesn't seem like Seju's arc, nor the first seems like Sumin's arc.

Based solely on these pictures, I'd say they symbolise the relationships between them more, rather than whose arc it is.
For example, in this arc, Seju looking away, while Sumin and Sungji looked at the same direction seemed to me that these two are on the same page, and Seju is the outsider.
So...this also means third arc might not be Sungji's too, but more balanced to the three characters instead of only one.

Well bed death itself is a bs, but I can imagine that in their case sex become routine and they don't get into it as much as they used to, which is common for all long time couples to happen, not just lesbians. They ego doesn't allow them to admit it though, which fit them pretty nice.

But but...that's what I liked from them ;_; They seemed to be into each other despite being together for so long...
On the rest of the anime, they seem to be doing just fine. Why in ova is different...

This is why I couldn't move to TeamBlonde xD Bot only because I like Seju more, but because of how passive Sungji seems to be.
My opinion is, if Sumin can't recycle her own self noone else can. Of course close people help too, but the thought of someone coming into her life and saving seems unrealistic, if she doesn't want to helpo herself first

@ Thhat TeamPink ending picture

It's kinda sad for Sungji if that happens. But the thing is, Sungji is young and this is her first relationship. I think she would hurt, but would be able to get over it sooner or later, and gain some experience for her future relationships.

The way her character is develped so far though, seems like she will end up with Sumin. Because it would be pretty useless if they don't develop her character, and on top of that she doesn't even end up with Sumin.
No matter what though, I think she will be more active in the last arc.

I always had this feeling that Sungji would help Seju as well, not only Sumin.

Do the produsers think this is how women have sex? lol It is painfull indeed. I wished we got something more romantic or realistic for Lady Lady, so I'm kinda dissapointed. Probably they think the more noice and weird stuff the better.
I guess I'll stay with my imagination for Lady Lady after all

Basically J comments that Rain was much more into it than usually and suggest that she got turned on watching Mamomire before at which Rain only says possible, then J says that maybe it reminded her that they used to be much more into it, which Rain obviously denies and J ends with saying that she is right cos nobody is lewder than Lady Lady.

Wow does that mean Lady Lady enters a beddeath phase? I never expected it to come to this point...
I'm going to deny this ova's existance.
Sad story, bad sex.

Again -3-... Sumin didn't hurt Seju purposely for all those 10 years.

Nah, she hurt her purposefully a lot of times. Maybe not every single time, but a lot of times.

So you are fine seeing Sungji who has become others' most favorite character being used as a tool for 2 main characters to realize their true feelings for each other then being left alone? And you can stand seeing Sungji having no meaning at all the whole story?

Sungji having no meaning in this story wouldn't have to do with her not ending up with Sumin. It will be because of her character development. If Sungji stays relevant only because she ends up with Sumin and nothing more, then this is a very bad treatment to her character.
It reminds me of some people who have nothing outside their relationship. So her not ending up with Sumin is not the problem of her character becoming irrelevant, or her character losing its importance.

But she keeps saying how it's ok that Sumin keeps secrets from her. I mean, it's good to give Sumin some space, for how long can she keep doing that. If they are endgame, there is some serious work to be done between them until the end of the story, rather than always drawing them have sex or only fluffy stuff.
This is what I've always been wondering. Even if they end up together on last chapter, would they be able to stay together for much longer too? Their base doesn't seem too strong until now, and I think Gaji has wasted some chapters into meaningless things. Maybe they needed fillers, or they did it for fanservice. Or maybe a very very small chance, to show how Sumin still kept on thinking of Seju even then. We'll find out I guess.

As for Seju, it is her fault too for waiting for Sumin. She should have considered moving on way before that. Girl you have money, go find a therapist. But I can see why she did it, and her situation is difficult already. Sumin was the only good thing she had in her life, which is very tragic.

Every character has their own reasons for doing the things they do, and like Gaji said, the fox is whoever the people want it to be. So all of the three are important.

But because it seems that Sungji is gonna agree with Sumin's whatever decisions, I'm just afraid the day Sumin tells her that she loves Seju, Sungji would be wholeheartedly agree to let Sumin go without giving Sumin a big slap right in her face.

I don't think this will happen. It would be too much. Not to mention Sumin ending up with Seju lol.

Here's what I think will happen . Sumin will break up with sungi and go back to seju sleeps with her after some time she will wonder why do I feel so empty and then she realizes she loves sungi now and she go back to sungi . And seju must miraclely heal on her own the end.! Kkkk

But when Sumin decided to go back to Sungji, it was too late. Sungji already got together with Nami.

But then Nami says she lusts for Sumin, and that makes Sungji realise she still has feelings for Sumin. So we have a threesome ending...except it's not Seju but Nami :D

Seriously though, I'm not sure if there is a plot twist or they just said so to lure in readers. Sungji ending up with Sumin, even if they break up and Sumin realises how she's being a jerk is not a plot twist. It's the most obvious option.

"No matter how long it takes, you will be mine again." Vs. "I also don't think you are going to give me that kind of wound."
Seju and Sungji so much believe in their loves for Sumin.

I don't know which one of the two is more unrealistic at this point...

yeah but at the same time there certainly seems to be something off, very off about this whole thing...

Maybe the fact that Sungji turns passive into an emotionaly unfair relationship

But if I Sumin does something that is actually mean Sungji might really break down and lose her patience... because Sungji is really restraining herself right now.

I think her normal reaction should be this. But not sure, because last two times Sumin was kind of jerk to her, she left and didn't say much.
When Sumin was acting weird inside that bar after Sungji revealed to Choi-gun that they were dating, and then when Sumin went after her in Sungji's hometown, Sungji said she wasn't mad at her. It's ambiguuous whether she is hiding her frustration, or if that's her natural way of dealing with things

Sungji gives me that feeling of someone who tries to win Sumin's heart without being noticed by Sumin. She seems like a people pleaser, and lover pleaser as well.

Thanks for translation Newp !!

I have a feeing that this is how Sungji's character will be developed. It seems they want to highlight the difference between her and Seju this way. Sungji accepting that Sumin might not feel comfortable telling her the secrets and she doesn't push her. I hope they don't victimize her though, as now it kinda seems like it in a way.

I don't think there will be a confrontation from her in a way that she will get mad. I think it will be something like her being sad and Sumin noticing it.
I'm skeptical about Sumin's feelings though. It's very contradicting, because some chapters ago she said "I love you" to Sungji 3 times, and now her look in the end of this chapter is not the same.

It's not like it's a difficult strategy plan to come up with. Neither sneaky. It's just a different way to get someone's attention. Some people do it and don't even realise it.

I think the majority of fans on twitter are Thai, no? Thai fans on twitter did a voting last month, I think, and the results they got were TeamSeju = 60%, TeamSungji = 40%.

Don't know about the poll, but I remember that when Sungji and Sumin hooked up, there were so many tweets about people being happy, and the tweets were at least double than a usual chapter.

The last chapter does give us hope! But for now I really still don't think that Sumin x Seju is endgame. I believe Sumin is sooooo much in love with Seju. I would even say it is as much as the love she had for Seju before their breakup. But however much she loves Seju doesn't refute the fact that she love Sungji or diminish the amount of love

I know, of course Sumin could love Sungji more. The thing is, so far it doesnn't seem to be extremely strong, you know? I guess they will elaborate their relationship on the third arc now, especially now that Sungji will learn all Sumin's secrets.

Layla, call MacySan out too! She is on TeamPink but she wrote down such a negativity. XD

I meant that I would prefer for Sumin to end up with Sungji, out of the possibilities of a) Seju dying, so Sumin choosing Sungji because she has no choice, and b) Sumin staying alone in the end.

i'm not very sure about the whole fandom but it seems that Asian, especially Korean, fans like Seju better while Western fans like Sungji better. i still think a) has the most probability of happening but really at this point b) should not be counted out, despite it having a lot less chances of happening.

I think it's the opposite. Korean fans like Sungji better, while Western fans Seju. Bdcause the time that Sungji and Sumin had sex fot the first time, the twitter was blown up by the Korean fans. While you see slightly more people liking Seju in english forums.

Anyway, even if I think something will happen again that will totally crush the Seju/Sumin end, I still have a hope for it. Especially after the last chapter. It is low, but slightly higher than the previous ones xD
Well, the fact that Sumin was in love with Seju, and still seems to be is something that we can't discard. So even if they don't end up together, this is something important too.

Btw, in stories like this with love triangles, the protagonist usually ends up with noone. From what I've noticed from other series. Also I've seen the antagonist (in this case Seju) dying quite lot of the times too. I don't like anything of these endings. Teamblonde ending would be better than these two.

Omg lol at that nominees picture xDD I could already see Gaji running away from back door after second picture happening xDD
