Dammit Hulk, this was supposed to make her fall in love, not turn her into a rapist!

Rape is the purest expression of love. #mochiverse

The Japanese really love those limited sales, don't they? Can't they see it's all an artificial marketing ploy? ^^

Whoops. Comes with talking from vague memory ... should have doublechecked. Sorry about that.

Ach, damn, the final arc. And I absolutely hate the rest of these chapters. Hate, hate, hate them. It's probably not fair to complain about some dude that's literally the mirror of Yurika but it comes across as infinitely more awful. Yes, I'm biased. I don't care. Blame the patriarchy. ^^

... now to balance out this perversity here with the new wholesome Yuricam chapters ...

Rule number one of any self-defense situation: run away. In fact, in many countries that'd also be the only legal option to take.

Everything else is only useful if that's not possible.

... or, of course, if you want to be attacked. For example, by a lesbian delinquent ... ^^

I’m getting slightly confused when she’s using her powers and how often those powers are used.

The idea seems to be that she can't turn it off. But story sometimes seems to kinda ignore this, or people aren't thinking anything.

Who did the poll? The Society of Bad Taste, Trolls and Definitions-Are-Evil-Anarchists?

Not something that usually interests me much, but, whoa, that art is bad ...

To be honest I don't see Jun so much as a "obstacle"-type character, but as an "overprotective older brother/father" - who, granted, also tends to get into the way a bit, but is usually supposed to be viewed somewhat sympathetically and ultimately doesn't actively oppose anything (much).

Admittedly lines blur a lot there.

Either way I don't like either type anyway. ^^

Finding a natural way to convey such a large bulk of info in the present is not easy and usually encumbers a work more than anything.

What "large bulk of information"? So far I don't see anything that significantly alters any of the characters or the plot.

If it's necessary to establish how we got to a certain point or what the connection to a character is, then how is it stretching anything out? I'd call it crucial information.

I prefer to leave these things hinted at or open to interpretation or revealed in the current time-line.

I’m mostly talking about his role in the overall story: useless meddling pain in the ass.

Ah, well. He's that dude in a lesbian story. It was inevitable, even if he's a mellow incarnation of that trope.

This is going to turn into a complete soap opera, isn't it?

"You shouldn't get too involved with the President"

Oh... Jun is one of those people.

The ones who tell you what is good for you and what isn't.

They mean good. But they are actually trying to take something away from you. The power to make your own informed decisions.

Yeah, I want find out when the next bus leaves town and make sure Jun is under it.

If he follows up with actual reasons why so Asuka can decide it's not too bad.

Either way. Flashbacks. Even in my favorite manga they just feel like unnecessary stretching things out :/

It's fiction. Not a guide on "how to act in real-life". Yeah, sure, fiction can't be entirely detached from it, but sometimes I find this recent attitude of "fantasy has to follow all reality rules" a bit ... trite. It should be obvious. Do we need "do not copy at home" disclaimers? ^^

Meh, not too into the second chapter. Doesn't feel like "real" people anymore.

I'll sign off on that. It's not the greatest thing since sliced bread, but it's good fun.

Sequels is in the works too (author's FB has more on that). Hopefully it won't turn too YA.

e: I forgot, "if you liked Monster Easter", you might also like Elizabeth Watasin's Monster Stalker. It's a bit wackier and less YA but remarkably similar in some regards.

The fact that Saori is cool with Yurika having Mistresses as long as Yurika comrs home to her, also amuses me

She loves the role of being the pitiful wife way too much.

Technically, there's only one ocean anyway. It's all connected; people just arbitrarily divided it up. ^^

Her mother better have been kidnapped or something.

I think it's been strongly implied waaaaaaay back at the beginning that she got blackmailed (or something).

Ach, this is all so ... basically building-block scenes, with a bunch of cutouts we've all seen in a dozen variations before. The one where bro/sis stands and urges her to pick and she just hugs her. Or when her fake girlfriend is apparently too retarded to get what she's feeling (despite earlier chapters already indicating that her thoughts go in that direction...) . et cetera.

Don't really like how this story is executed.

... or she needs blood for her demonic features. Thus going for a blood oranges drink. ^^
