Yes it's weird. She should've started taking about Seju as soon as she met with Sumin since she knows Seju is Sumin's friend

Also considering the fact that Seju actually said Sumin's name when Sungji asked her if she wanted to call someone...

Why did it have to be Sungji? Why not Nami or Sumin?

Love antagonists meeting and having a conversation is actually interesting. Especially when they haven't before. Nami and Sumin would be too typical imo. Maybe there is a reason why it was Sungji

Sumin x Glasses.

Lol I thought about that too. I mean, Glasses-san is one of the few that have managed to run away from Sumin's charm so far

^ For a moment I seriously thought that was what's going to happen when I first saw that panel when Sungji was laying Seju in bed.

I bet most of the readers thought about it lol. I was like PleaseDont!DoIT

But....I got a really bad feeling for Seju in this chapter....I couldn't even be sad, things have gotten pretty serious right now

Thanks for translations Newp!!

Does anyone find it weird how Sungji avoided saying to Sumin that she was actually in Seju's house?

So yeah I think it was definitely a Retirement letter on sumin desk I think she's planning to escape further away from seju :/

Is that really the case, or just an assumption? If Sumin tries to do that, I bet her past will come and bite her butt back

The fact that the author lets Sungji be the one taking care of Seju clearly shows that they wants to make way for Seju to accept Sungji. I mean, we all know she's nice and all but make Seju the damsel in distress and Sungji is the hero is too predictable and make Sungji be the hero of everything. I can't explain it, too typical, maybe?

Yeah I get what you're saying. Well, there are always some cliches in every story. It's too hard for them to be 100% original I think it all depends on how the author handles those "cliches" and when they put them.

For example, I didn't expect today's chapter to be a Seju and Sungji interaction. if you think about it, this is the first time this happens. And also things seem to move forward now, instead of having yet another chapter of conflicted Sumin who tries to avoid her emotions and has sex with Sungji.
This is why I liked it, because it doesn't have this same pattern yet again. But of course liking something isd also subjective, so I see why some people still don't like it. I bet some others would prefer a chpater of Sumin and Sungji fluffiness. It's a matter of taste up to a point.

Also...I'm almost 100% sure that the rings symblise something!!!
Sungji forgot about it, despite getting it very recently. And she forgot it on Seju's place. Then Sumin put out her ring too.

Btw what is even going on with glasses girl. Is she up to reveal about Sumin and Sungji's relationship in public or something? Or Sumin is going to fire her...And how this will move things further regarding the main plot. It's getting interesting, and also don't forget about Seju's dad too.
If she is sick now, imagine what will happen when he dies...poor Seju

anyone here after this chap want Seju and Sungji to be more than just love rivals?

Me not at all lol. I was afraid a little something more would happen and I was like nopenope, but thankfully it didn't. It would be way too much for Sungji x Seju right now. Plot twists are good, but if it's too much, then it goes on the other end of the spectrum.

even though this chap just solely seems to make Seju fall for Sungji's kindness and let Sumin go in the end

It seems very inconsistent if Seju falls for Sungji. But maybe she will be able to let go, because she knows that Sumin is with someone good.

But Sumin is the first person that comes to her mind when she's sick now. This still shows how she is far from letting go of her at the moment. To be honest, I don't think she ever will. But maybe she will be able to accept they won't be together as lovers again.
She makes a face of dissatisfaction somewhere in between when Sungji is taking care of her, so I guess she is kinda jealous of Sungji now.

I liked this chapter, at least things are moving on now. And it's initiated by Sungji. Sumin would keep it a secret for as long as she could if it was only up to her.

We finally see Seju getting sick, which was very expected. I just hopw it's nothing actualy bad, and it mostly stress/grieve related. I liked how Sungji was so nice with her though. This chapter would be too depressing if it wasn't for her, and Seju was all alone crying over Sumin. Not that she won't do it after Sungji leaves but we won't see it I guess

She's not curious; she once told she wished she was a lesbian but that she couldn't because 'yuck' >.>
yeah but in any case it's not worth it, right?

I'm gonna be honest, when someone says they wished they were gay I find it lame. As if they feel sorry for living with the straight privillage.
Sorry if that sounds bad or something <.<

are you going to the pride? when is it again? I think you won't be in Thessaloniki around the time, right?

I thiiink it's around the end of June, but not sure. Tbh I'm not active on these stuff x.x But it's easy to find it if you search on google

no no no, she's not at all, that's not the problem. I actually told her I like girls which is why I think she might have suspected it. But that's she not homophobic doesn't mean anything; she's straight, she'd never touch a woman and I'm not in love with her or feel like I want to be with her... I just like her and I feel attached and safe around her I guess but since I'm suppressing my feelings it's a bit hard to tell to what extent they go. I mean like totally suppressing them most of the time. Before when I had crushes of course I had to suppress my feelings too and not act flirty in certain times but I never suppressed them mentally. I don't allow myself to think of this girl now; but sometimes something random happens when I see her and I get a rush of feelings altogether and it feels as though I'm falling for her for a moment and then go back to just being mildly attracted to her. I'm really confused...

Sounds like a normal crush to me to be honest. I wouldn't worry too much about it. I think if the feelings are secretely stronger, they come out themselves, even if you try to surpress them. If they are "supressable" they are not too intense imo. At least at the time being.

There are some options with straight girls:
They are curious and might experiment. Then, whether they realise they don't like women at all, or they are closeted bi (or gay) but prefer to not come out, there is a high chance it won't work. Even if they are not actually straight, they just have to accept it themselves first, before being able to have a relashionship.

(Unrelated side story that that came to my mind writing this)
There is an LGBT group in my area. My friend, who doesn't know about me being bi (and who is straight), is friends with one guy from them. And one day, out of nowhere, she tells me she wants to go to that party they were having.
I tried to play it cool, so I went. It was a making out/fooling around party, which admitedly made me feel uncomfortable.
I was sure by that time that no matter the gender, I don't like meeting people this way

omg, I'm going there during the summer!! (July) would you um... like to meet some day??

I study there and I'll be gone back in my hometown after my exams in June :/
Do you have any relatives there, or just go for vacation?

yes, it can be good even if it doesn't lead to falling in love but I happen to know that there's no way she'd be interested and I believe it's not very possible that she'd be completely cool with me liking her.

If there is a chance she is homophobic don't take the chances imo.Unless it's a major crush or you're really in love and can't handle it. Maybe it sounds wrong, since it kinda goes against being open about yourself, but at the same time I believe it's better to keep some things unknown if it is to protect yourself too.
I know in an ideal world, this shouldn't be the case, but we don't live in one anyway.

I did not realize about ever seeing MacySan. When i wen thru and found out that she was one of the early posters with us, i felt sort of bad for not remember her. Sorry MacySan. I wish i was able to talk to you.

Lol. I remember MacySan. I still look for her in this thread whenever I have the chance to take a look at this thread xD

Oh heyy people xD Hello Fay! :D
I don't visit this thread anymore, I'm regularly on WDTFS one though. I need to focus on my work, and conversations make me really lose my drift anf focus.
But I couldn't sleep tonight much, so I decided to visit this thread and look a couple of pages back and found this xD

I've noticed the news about Su's health before, and I'm glad she is fine! I don't usually like to say much, because I feel like words are meaningless in these situations. Anyway glad it all turned good!

Also about Citrus lol. To be honest, I dont really dislike it, but not something that excites me either. After last year's 4 month hiatus people started losing interest though. The updates shoud be once in a month imo, to keep the interest going. Because for this much wait, we get almost nothing in the end.
It was good in the beggining, but it feels like the author had the idea only for the first chapters (maybe until Mei's dad arc) and then ran out of ideas, so she started introdusing new characters.
Last chapters, it has gotten a little better, now that there is some develpment between Yuzu and Mei.

I think that we got way better yuris during last year, so Citrus has lost its shine because other better stuff have emerged too, like FF and WDTFS.

Oh yes, I know it happens xD I've also seen futa yuri fanfiction written by women too. Not saying it's bad, just not something I would read.
And that woman was like a sign there would be something like this in the manga. I know I'm stereotyping now, but that's what I thought when I first saw her. I don't even know if anything like that actually happens though, because I didn't read it untill the end.

Of course there are different types of women, both feminine and more masculine and it's totally fine. Some people just have a different prefernce in yuri, or in general, which is also fine.

Tbh, when I don't know the artist well, I'm always a little cautious, because some of them tend to add weird things. And tbh I'm not a fan of the strap on hardcore yuri that some mangas include. I don't know if that actually happens in that manga though.

Beware of this manga: No matter how you look at its MC, she is a man with boobs! :D

I saw that on DeviantArt, and I thought she looked too manly tbh

  1. Seju's love for Sumin is really amazing. 10 years being treated like that but she's still holding on tight and believe that they will be back to where they were one day? No sleeping around, no alcohol, no matter how crappy her situation is.

This is the first reason why I liked Seju. Despite her situation being really crappy, she has still managed to not do fucked up things. She is pretty loyal to Sumin. One could argue that Sumin is all she has, but this also shows something about her character too.
Sumin on the other hand has been acting really selfish and reckless. Of course she is dealing with her problems differently, because everyone acts the same.
In the first chapters I was expecting Seju to sleep around too, but she didn't.

So yeah i think sumin loves seju as much... her heart that cares for seju is still there its just covert with layers and layers of hatred and hurt !
So yeah sumin is so stubborn and had so much self proud so i thats is why its really hard for her to admmit that she's still in love with seju but when she finally realize it she's escaping from it

I agree. Not sure if Sumin loves Seju exactly the same. I thought she only cared for her as a person, but after chapter 50 (?) it is confirmed she is still in love with her. We can't really be sure whether this love is as much as Seju has for her, but I do think it is buried below her hurt and pain that Seju gave her.

Sumin seems like a person who can't really let go tbh. A lot of the things she has been doing in the past was from the hurt she had, and the fact that she couldn't move on (not that this is wrong, she did have a lot of reasons to be hurt).
And yet, her actions even now with Sungji prove that she is not good at moving on. Because instead of taking some time for herself to deal with her feelings for the past and for Seju, yet again, she is trying to avoid them by using Sungji. She probably doesn't even realise that though.

I do agree that Seju x Sumin fans like Seju x Sumin because of their story. It's true that Sumin x Seju's love story really is much deeper than Sumin x Sungji's, but if we think about it over again, we are comparing an almost 20 years love story to a less than one year one. How about giving Sumin x Sungji a bit more time to prove their love?

That's true, but I always had a feeling that Sumin would not be able to stay with Sungji for ever.
I mean, even if the story ends with them, I'm still not convinced. Because being too sweet and accepting is not enough to keep a person like Sumin imo, even if the authors think otherwise.

Haizzza, keep reading comments about Seju is so depressing. It's either her sad situation or her lack of appearance which makes her development kinda slow :). Please tell me why, of all three characters, I just have to like the saddest, most depressing one, not to mention the most underrated among those three, too. What does Seju have that makes people easily fall for her like that though :(.

Despite her being depressive, her character is more realistic than Sungji's and probably Sumin's, so people can empathise with her easier. She gives flavor to the story.
Also, despite the cheating thing, all these years she has been waiting for Sumin, which shows how great her love was, which is admirable. And she wasn't sleeping around either.
I'd say she's classy, despite her being in a dark place.

Seju x Sungji is a bizzare combination, just like Sumin x Nami imo. Seju x Sumin is more possible lol.

Tbh I don't expect much from the next chapter for Seju. I think her development will be slow throughout the whole story, while Gaji develops Sungji and Sumin more in between.
Just like how her father got sick, like 20 chapters ago, and we are still really behind regarding his health condition and how it influences Seju. Only thing we got from this, is Seju having to pickup the mole weirdo.

I have only read the two free chapters from Pulse. Looks pretty generic to me tbh. Just like Lilly Love, the art is great, but the characters and the story not interesting. It's the chliche womanizer who's cold but a woman manages to break her.

WDTFS is way better, ratings mean nothing. Popular does not always mean good too.

If the solution was just that plain (e.g. "Sumin and Seju just talking it out over coffee" you brought up) their problem should have been solved since years ago.

This is where Sungji comes. No need to keep on talking about Seju dying.

You can't really say the writing is very good tbh. The relationship between the main couple is underdeveloped, just like Sungji's character. They focused at least 10 chapters of them having sex, which felt like fillers, instead of developing their characters and relationship.
Sumin feels like an indicisive self-insert character right now too. Not only she is incosistant, but I feel like she lacks depth lately. Maybe because of her changing mind so easily.

Seju has been developed pretty nicely, and if they kill her it would be pointless. Sumin should chose because she wants to, not because she hasno other choice.

Cause in my opinion if Sumin will end with Sungji, it need to be because she chose her, not because Seju died, otherwise it would be a really lazy way to end the story.

And forced too. Not to mention some of Sumin's actions already seem forced right now
