Probably safe to assume that as far as Nikaidou is concerned Kiri is for now "on probation" and will be kept an eye on until her bona fides have been proven beyond reasonable doubt though.

As evidenced by Nikaidou specifically telling Kirigaya that this is her last chance.

Furthermore, the cat ears do actually mean something. Trans women in certain online communities apparently got kinda memetically attached to the cat girl persona, seeing how many transgirls relates to the idea of it (apparently, the transmen counterpart are dog boys).

^Seems to be a Japanese thing. Seen it a few times in manga and anime before, but most recently actually in Yoshi's Crafted World as a mark for collecting everything required in a level.

As far as Nikaidou is concerned, if the person isn't causing problems for Tadokoro they're simply not worth her attention at all.

Well... That is most likely not entirely true. Sure, she's letting Kirigaya off the hook because Tadokoro decided to forgive her, but as we saw in the first chapter, even before Nikaidou really got interested in Tadokoro, she was already very much against not only active bullying, but also just bad-mouthing someone behind their back.

Yeah, this manga doesn't do redemption arcs. We solve things in half a chapter here, and that's fine, so we can move on to more important things.

This is just the yuri crowd starving for content. Without the "yuri" tag people wouldn't look at this manga twice.

Really? Because I read a lot of manga, not just limited to yuri, and I don't just read all yuri there is. And while it's certainly not the best manga ever, I could see it mostly work even without being yuri - except for this latest bit, as sitting in someone's lap would simply not seem as innocent for either of them in any other combination. Still, the general idea of two somewhat weird not-quite-delinquents falling for each other and trying to work out their feelings would be a welcome new idea in any case, yuri or not.

I doubt it, seeing how she reacted to the initial revelation and stopped doubting her, at least for the most part, only after reading the history book and concluding it would be too much of an effort to fake it.

^That's like saying yuri isn't original because it's in 100% of yuri. Sure, you can find common elements in a lot of stories, but you're entirely ignoring the actually original parts, like the quite unique personalities of the main characters that actually drive the story in rather uncommon directions, even if it happens in the usual schoolgirl yuri framework.

As nice as this was, the one thought that went through my head when the table tennis book was mentioned without ever actually showing it was "Ah, now I see why this version was cancelled...".

As I was reading through it the first time I thought to myself "Okay, Shimamura is a total tsun about her attraction to Adachi, but Adachi has moved so way beyond tsun territory with her denial that she's gonna crack under the pressure and explode into rainbows if she's not careful ".

Not really a big problem, but your file names look as if they'd include only the latest chapter. Might want to label the next one v1c1-4 instead of just v1c4 to avoid confusion.
