I think the whole point of the last panel is for it to be ambiguous. It can about both, Sena saying that Kiku doesn't really love her and her trying to convince herself that she doesn't really love her own sister that way.

It's not, i'm pretty sure the author mentioned at some point that the story has long since outgrown the original two protagonists and that they won't appear anymore (aside from the "status update" snippets about every character.

What is she talking about here, at the top? Is it that she thinks the MC fell in love with her sister? Or she thinks it's impossible that the MC would be with her? Or something else?

She's basically admitting here that she's been more or less willfully ignoring the signs that Sena was well and truly in love with her sister, and that's why she has been falling apart. Up until now Mamiya been running with the idea that Sena has just been particularly attached to her sister in a familial sense, but is now recognizing she's up against a lot more than that. Which is probably why she was so taken aback by the fact Sena declared out of nowhere she would be her lover.

We haven't seen the sister yet and who knows if she'll ever make a serious appearance plot wise but rn I'm imagining the possibility of a twist where Kiku ends up being the catalyst/stepping stone for Sena and her sister's relationship to reconcile and progress in a direction Sena wants.

No one's expecting it rn but I can see some roundabout "huh my lil sis being happy with someone else kinda bothers me more than I thought it would now that I see it" kinda deal.

Not very likely but that'd definitely be one heck of a twisty ending

I'm not sure why the majority of people in this thread hope for a poly end. Most of the time you read harem to root for one specific character to win and the story/jokes/plot all normally revolve around how the author leverages that and makes it entertaining for the readers.

For me it's bc 1) i'm polyam myself and like seeing myself represented, 2) bc polyamory is one of those once in a blue moon themes that isn't nearly common enough in manga and 3) it's a nice change of pace from the usual "oh no i gotta choose one person" spiel. Can't tell you how many times i've screamed at my screen that there is indeed another option xD

Very much so, the anime ends before even getting to the first actual climax of the series. A lot of the development doesn't even start until after that point.
If you have any desire to experience this story further, you gotta read the manga, at least from where the anime leaves off (bc until then it's a very faithful adaptation, minus the very end)

Yoroizuka is a classical INTJ (in Myers-Briggs typology): efficient, brutally honest, and bad at interpersonal relations and assessing others' feelings. Her intro scene is a perfect picture of an INTJ at work: she points out her colleague's mistake, loses interest in her immediately, takes over her work and completes it in 1/10th of the time, before her other colleague is done lecturing her -- which she also has zero interest in. The other example is her complete nonchalance to her GF sneaking into her house: she walked in, saw her standing there, immediately figured out what happened, and lost any interest in the situation. From personal experience, I can tell that 90% of her brain power was still engaged with work at that point. Only when her GF proposed the lap pillow did she mentally switch to the here and now because it was a completely new experience for her. Still, a control freak like all INTJs, she completely ignored the possibility of receiving a lap pillow and instead immediately offered her GF one, remaining firmly in control of the situation.

Myers-Briggs is about as scientifically substantiated as tossing a hand-full of bones and divining the future from them. Judging ppl (or characters in this case, but what you wrote sounds way too elaborate to not be applied to actual living ppl too i'd wager) based on these personality quiz categories is a gross negligence at best. I think this chapter was mostly about Nanase realizing that she's in the exact same position as Mary rn and she started pitying her. While also grappling with the realization that she might very well be on the receiving end of the "we can only be friends" talk herself soon

To put it real simple, there is only one single requirement to being trans: Not being cis. That's literally all it is. If you think "Oh i've been assigned xy at birth? That doesn't seem right" that's it. As trans as can be. Everything else around it, dysphoria, transitioning, etc. is all "optional" and not a requirement whatsoever. There is no wrong or right way to be trans.
