I do also want to know more about Sunji's life or what she is really thinking about everything else.
But a new character is needed soon before Seju does something crazy. Maybe make Seju her own love story.

I don't think that a new person would be able to save Seju now though. It's literally a stranger suddenly walking into her life and making her forget Sumin and her dark thoughts? Very highly impossible.

If Seju gets over Sumin and finds someone new, this will be in the distant future. Right now is too unrealistic.
Because we have to see more of Sungji too, as well as the current drama, I think one arc is not enough. If Seju ends up with a new person, who is not Nami or anyone we know, I think it should be implied in the end, or maybe show and let the readers understand that this is the person. And also let Seju heal on her won too and have time to get over Sumin. I dislike the whole lover who suddenly saves someone idea

Btw guys Gaji gave a (new?) interview about the upcoming arc but it's in Korean.

I, tbh, could only imagine a scenario where Seju decides to commit suicide in the next day, but today she meets with Nami and gets teased by her, and then she commits suicide immediately out of annoyance.

LOL xD

Let's think, Nami is like a bait from Gaji. You get annoyed by her, so you won't get too sad by the rest of the story xD

it is time that Seju may allow someone know who really is

Suddenly, Nami appeared in my mind, and I felt very disappointed. XD

In my opinon I do not like Nami with Seju, I enjoy each one, but together...Nahh, they do not be a good couple.

Me neither. After last chapter emotions I got confused for a while and I was just about to say that even Nami would be nice for Seju at this point, but soon I went back xD
Seju has already enough shit going on, is Nami really the only option for her? Just because she is the fourth main girl on the manhwa and she's had some interaction with Seju?
Other than that, Seju seems like she's not even attracted to her.

The best possible scenario for Seju would be that she takes some time to herself and heal without any partner. Then after, let's say five years, she meets someone new. And then Sumin learns about it and realises how that love she wanted to have was always in front of her, but it is too late now.

There is a poll on Lezhin Facebook to vote for their best yuri couple, and I found it interesting how they only have Sumin x Sungji as the main from wdtfs. Pretty much gives an idea who they're trying to sell as main characters

I agree that there would be no right time for Sumin to say that to Seju too. So I don't blame her for doing it tbh. I believe it's the right thing to do, since she is dating Sungji. And the timing is bad, but she knows that if she keeps on seeing Seju she might end up hurting Sungji. Seju should learn how to cope without Sumin too.
I didn't expect for Sumin to be so considerate about it anyway.

Also yes, I don't see wdtfs as a healing story so far. It doesn't matter what they said, maybe things changed during the process, or maybe we will only see a healing in the very end.

@ Random_Retard

I think you believe that when someone is in love, their actions must be selfless. Someone can be in love, and do things out of love for themselves. Even if that benefits the other person too.
And to be honest, if Sumin was selfless, she would think of Seju first, and not her need to go back to her. So she would think that doing it this way to Seju was harming her. She did worry about her, but not more than she was for herself, so she couldn't think clearly and realise what her actions were doing to Seju.

I'd say she is more selfless with Sungji. But this is also because she knows Sungji is good for her.
But I guess it's a mater of how someone sees it too, so there is no absolute proof of either.

As chapters go by, I start to think that Sumin won't have a fully happy ending, even if she stays with Sungji. Unless they completely sacrifice Seju to make the main couple look better, so Sumin won't need any redemption.

Do you belive that Sumin was still in love with Seju, or she was just worried for her and this is why she kept going back?
And if her act was so selfless, shouldn't see try not to get on Seju's nerves too? Like the redhead incident, or acting like she doesn't give a damn.
Yes the moleguy incident fucked her up more, but I personally believe that even if that didn't happen, she would still go back to Seju and repeat the same. I don't think she would keep up with her new life and moving on back then for long.

So Sumin wasn’t just being selfish whenever she returned to Seju.
In fact it was the exact opposite. She discarded her chances of being happy with someone else for Sejus sake – because she was too afraid of what Seju would do if she wouldn’t return to her.

I don't think she was selfless. She did it for her self first and then for Seju. Because she herself couldn't get over Seju and she couldn't help but going back to her.
And if she was so worried, she could have acted a bit more nice to Seju every time she was going back. But most of the time she was cold toher and only wanted to have sex

I would say any kind of words or actions Sumin used towards to Seju, if that meant to break up with her, it would lead to the same outcome.

But at least, in my case (not sure about others), if she hasn't chosen this moment when Seju has been so stressed about her father, not say those words (maybe saying she doesn't want to hurt Sungji because she loves her and Sungji loves her, too, sth like that, I don't know), I would probably be less judgemental towards Sumin. Because honestly, those words has a lot of impact and made me remember it right after I read it. Before I read translation, I have absolutely nothing too much against Sumin, just thought "oh, it has to be done, just sooner than I thought, but poor Seju", but after reading it, everything go amplify =)))))

The thing is, Sumin never really thought too deep about how her actions are affecting Seju. It is the same now too. If she knew that Sjeu might try something, I think she would postpone it for a little later. So even though I believe she has been selfish, I don't really blame her now. Just Seju's luck is really bad as usual.
Also, it was partially Seju's fault too, for accepting Sumin every time. They are both at fault in this, not only Sumin.

And Sungji is another perfect escape for Sumin when she couldn't deal with her emotionals for Seju, isn't it?

What is bothering me about it, is that how Sumin had to relly on someone else in order to forget Seju. I still can't see how Sungji is really different than a normal girlfriend, besides the fact that she is supposed to be different because the author says so.
I think the author's perspective in this is a bit false. There is no savior (Sungji) in these situations. The person has to work on themselves first. Otherwise, those feelings will remain, and just like Sumin admitted, she is afraid she might want to come back to Seju. So she should have stayed alone first, when she decided to leave Seju for good.

Otherwise, their relationship could end up being co-dependant. Sumin is clingy too, just doesn't show it. And we have to to see Sungji taking some action too, rather than being all accepting. Honestly, I don't believe a person like Sungji would be able to heal Sumin in a real life situation. It feels not enough to just be nice and accepting.

Not that hard really, if Seju would not abruptly tragically die at some point or sth like that, there are ways to for Sumin and Sungji to be endgame but Sumin is happy but not completely happy with no Seju in her life anymore. I don't want to take away everything from Sumin because of what she has lost in the past and don't want to hurt Sungji, either but a fully happy ending for Sumin is not what I want at the moment, so yeah. It might change after a few more chaps, though =))))))))

I want something like this to happen in the end too. Sumin should move on, but she should get some karma too. But not Seju dying, just maybe Seju moving on and never talking to her. Which is hard but still

People who are Seju fans seem to think that Seju is the one who's hurt the most among all the characters. How is her life? She is rich. She owns a company. What have her family done to her? They can't do anything to her. They can't command her to do housework. Her daily life can't be difficult like Cinderella's. All she needed to do is not to visit them. I'm not korean, I really have no idea about korean culture, is visiting family a must? I would say Seju is really bad at living her life.

This is not so simple. You see, when all of your familly hates you, the problem is not what they do to you, but what they haven't done. Seju hasn't received love from them at all, which is very essential for every human. Seriously, just think if all of your familly hated you like this, would you solve your problem if you just ran away from them? The emotional void would still be there.
People do the worst things because the love they received was wrong, or they didn't receive any love at all

Why think of a way that could drag all three of them into one circle again and run around in that like mad people? There is already way out to stop this circle, why open it again?

I feel like this too. Not only cheating is wrong, but also if it happens it will create repetitive drama. I think this needs to move on from the love triangle stage, and let them finally work the things outside this black hole.
There are still way more new things that could happen outside this too

Seeing how there is still an entire arc left in this story, if Sumin really does love Seju while she is obviously aware of Seju's feelings for her, there is a large chunk of storytelling left to do for them. Running is not coping. If this is where the Sumin/Seju story is allgedly supposed to basically end, Team Gaji would have only proven, that they have no idea how the human mind works and that they don't understand their own characters. It'd be unrealistic and unlikely for a person like Sumin if she would be able to cut ties like this and move on after a bit of heartache.

Yeah. To be a writer you also have to have a good grasp of the human psychology. So far it seems they know what they're doing. And I tend to think they are aware of that fact, since this is not the last arc and we will have the more dramatic stuff going on in the end

Sumin said that she wants to love earnestly. She want to feel like the other party is so precious that she can't live without them if she forget about them.

This sounds like she is doing it because she knows she has to, not because she completely feels like it. Doesn't it sound a bit weird? Like forcing yourself to fall in love with someone >.>
Not that she doesn't love Sungji, but seems like it's not so strong yet.
Is her relationship with Sungji so strong to make her let go of Seju forever? I'm trying to think it is, but I still have doubts, especially after the things she is revealing during those last chapters.

Sumin is selfish, yes. But she has to do this for herself now and try to heal. I don't think she exactly realises how bad things for Seju are now. They never had a good relaitonship, so to be fair, we can't expect her to stay near Seju now.

I was thinking, how ironic would it be if she realises that these words she said now (that she wants to feel a love as strong for someone that if she loses them it's like dying) she was actually feeling them for Seju all along. I don't care about them ending up together, I just can't help but think how this would be fair to happen in the end. And how that would be her own punishment for how she was treating Seju all these years, and she won't be able to have her anymore.

I don't think Seju was her rebound...I think those girls were the rebound for Seju. Sumin said she wants to earnestly love someone. Does that mean she isn't fully in love with Sungji yet?
I find it stupid that Seju has to suffer only for Sumin to feel bad. If Seju finds the strength and move on, I always thought Sumin would not not like it.

Why is it so hard for Seju to have a good ending too? This is fresh to her and of course she would say the things she did. but that doesn't mean she can't move on and heal in the future.
And I have a feeling that Sungji will learn about this and say "Team Leader, accept her final wish" or somehting lol. Not them having sex, but maybe a last date or something.
Btw now she won't be able to call her Team Leader anymore lol xD

but if sumim indeed accepts then she will feel terrible and it will be a teamblode end game

if she does it I think they will break up. Sumin will feel too guilty to stay with Sungji right away. Maybe they will get back together after that if Sungji forgives her (which she probably will) And then, she will learn how to forgive Seju's cheating too, like Sungji has forgiven her and fully move on.

If she doesn't do it, something will happen with Seju that will bring her back at some point anyway. Like someone getting hurt, quite possibly Seju.

Waiting two months for this is too much ;_; I wish at least the hiatus is shorter

Seju planned the whole 'one last time' thing after Sumin said she wanted to seperate .. hoping that Sungji would come for the ring and see them together

This theory is quite impossible because
-Seju wanted to give that ring back to Sumin before Sumin told her that she wants to seperate (after they talked on the phone)
-She has no way to know that Sungji would enter her appartment that specific time they would do it. let alone Sungji entering her apartment for no good reason, out of nowhere without permission.
-She doesn't even know if Sumin will even accept this.
-She is acting instantly based on her feelings, not logic.

If Sumin does it, I also think it's history repeating itself. It doesn't have to be exactly the same situation (like someone dying like Sumin's parents). It can be a similar situation, where Sumin will be the cheater and goes into Seju's shoes and how she felt when she cheated on her.

This story would be more dramatic if Sumin cheats, and then after that, her feelings for Seju get stronger lol. That would be major drama, considering she wants to leave.
I don't want her to do it though. She won't deserve Sungji if she does it

It wouold be amazing if Seju can last another 10 years without Sumin. Sumin is her one and only reason to continue on living. Now that it's gone, she have all the reasons in the world to end her life. But we also don't know if Sumin and Sungji's relationship will last in that 10 years...

So far their relationship doesn't seem so crazy in love to be honest. I always had this in my mind that even if Sumin left, eventually she would still come back to Seju at some point again. Even if it was Sungji. We still haven't seen any conflict between their relationship so far, or how they work on the long term together.

I think it was sex what Seju is asking from Sumin. What else could it be really? xD

Seju now is hurt and is in a place where she didn't prepare herself to be in since now. She was always counting on Sumin for her mental health, so she wasn't forced to find a different approach to her problems. It seems like this is a dead end, but I think she could find her way out of this in the end. I think we should be more positive than thinking the only solution for her is to kill herself guys...

Fuck Sumin, Seju can stand on her own too lol. She can also find a beautiful and supportive girfriend who will love her too. And then Sumin sees how Seju has moved on too with another girlfriend and gets jealous. Because, even if she wants to never see Sumin again, she still takes her for granted. She knows Seju is unable to love another person . So she deserves to get the same in the end too

Btw, we really have to wait for months now? Until the next chapter? D: Omg...

Am I the only one who feel kinda scared when seeing Seju smiling alot? Like a whole hell of alot? I knew she smile and being playful to hide her feeling, but smiling this much, to this extent is really totally another thing. And we've just argued about she's fake or not because of this whole friendly smiling thing. She smiled too much, in fact it's the first time I see her smile this much

Smilling is a copying mechanism. It can indicate other things than happiness too, like also feeling uncomfortable, sad or helpless. And this is why it comes of weird..because it is not out of joy.

Considering her bleak future, Seju is likely to be dead already by then. Let alone 10 years, at this point we couldn't even be sure if she's still gonna be alive in the next 10 days...lol.

You know, I never believed that Seju will actually die in the end, although she is in high danger. Imo if they kill her off, it would only be so that Sumin will never go backk to her

It doesn't surprise me that Seju didn't think Sumin loves her. Even if she said that Sumin always comes back at her in first arc, she was saying that to herself to feel better and for different reasons than love. She thought that Sumin was going back to her because she didn't have any other better choice at that time. And also the fact that she was hurt by her and kept coming back for revenge.

The fact that Sumin worries she will want to go back to her though, means her feelings are at least as strong for Seju as they are for Sungji.
This story would be interesting to see what would happen after another 10 yearsfrom now. Like Sumin moving with Sungji away. And if she would never try to go back to Seju again in the distant future

Oh Gawd them feels in this chapter....
Seju is definitely losing it, even before Sumin talked about resigning. She was all smilling, which was probably a mask since I don't remember seeng her smile all during the story. It was definitely not a smile of joy I'd say. Also goes back at drinking again.
remember what happened last time she got drunk? Cheating. An indication of what will happen next chapter? But I can't really picture Sumin cheating on Sungji. At least she finally admits she still loves Seju...but this makes the situation worse. Because knowing someone loves you but will never come back is worse than them not liking you/hating you.

I'm really wondering what will happen to Seju if there isn't any threesome ending (which is not impossible tbh). Because she says not being with Sumin isworse than death ;-;

I get all the responses to what I said here, just am not really up for individually responding to them. I'll just note that it was sparked by the idea of promoting this kind of material as "pure love" or however LoliCake put it. Sure there's such a thing as over-regulation, but it's already clear that there are limits to freedom of speech. You can't threaten to kill or assault someone, falsely yell "Fire!" in a crowded building, among other things that could cause potential harm. In particular, the US regulates how smoking can be advertised, and that it can't be intentionally advertised to children. So when I was saying Japan is behind the times on banning, I meant that they should ban the promotion of hypersexualized or pornographic depictions of children, something that we do have in the US. That's just how I feel about the topic; clearly several of you disagree, and that perfectly fine.

I agree with you. Just because they are fictional characters it doesn't mean it's 100% pure. Because, the people who read this, some start to accept this whole idea too. Sounds too much, but this is actually how the human mind starts to consider things normal- when it gets too overexposed to it. I'm not sayinng loli mangas are being shown to the people every day for the real thing to be accepted, but this is still bothering me. Especially in yaoi

I personally don't like loli or incest because it just reminds me of real life people in this situations. Of course not everyone sees it as such though.

won't anyone question on how come Sumin want to retire/resign suddenly after that self-reflecting chapter about her feelings for Seju? she was confuse and contemplating and then the next "screw that I'm out of here" what's with the build-up over that?

Yes, finally someone said it. It's like that chap never happens and life still goes on just like that. Like wth? After a very serious and confusing self-reflecting, Sumin totally acted like nothing happened. If this resignment didn't bring Sumin to talk properly to Seju about everything for closure then there is definitely sth wrong with Sumin

Because Sumin has been acting like this (avoiding the hell out of her emotions) since almost the beggining of the manhwa.
It's a fact by now lol. And in this chapter, she is acting in character again. She is a coward who is scarred to face her problems and is always trying to find a way to avoid them. And Sungji seems to be the perfect opportunity for her now.
After that chapter when she was recalling her past relationships and then thinking that she was always coming back to Seju, seems like some of them (I won't say all) were rebounds for Seju. So how is Sungji different from them, we still have to find out.

This makes me think that the stronger her feelings for Seju, the more she wants to run away from her.

why Seju is immature in this situation?

If you were Sungji, I doubt you would find Seju's action in this chapter reasonable. Readers are able to empathize her because we read her thoughts and backstory. However, I personally don't see the point of her action towards Sungji, her employee, in this chapter. Couldn't she at least read the situation? Sungji knew nothing at all, and she was not helping her out as her love rival.

What did Seju do that seemed unreasonable though? She was sick and didn't want Sungji to help her. Sounds normal to me.
You think Sungji has no idea? I think this was almost a confirmaiton that she actually knows a lot more things. Because why didn't she tell Sumin that Seju called for her when she was sick? And why she said "an emergency outside" and didn't say the President is sick? Emergency outside sounds like a random person from the street or something, not someone who works in their company, especially the President.

I don't think that Sungji is John Snow who knows nothing, she pays attention to the little things imo, since she did manage to see and remember the password to Seju's house.

Lol, that was a little creepy xD But yeah, this chapter was a strong indicator or confirmation how Sungji knows more than she shows.
I'm actually glad we finally start getting more from her rather than being all lovey-dovey around Sumin. Also shows the type of personality she is when it comes down to how she is trying to win over the person she loves. (reminds me of when she hurt her leg the next chapter after Sumin had Seju drama with Nami)
She is not as passive. Seju is more passive than her I think

Now I'm just imagining what would happen if Sumin goes to Seju's place and find Sungji's ring laying around somewhere there.

I don't think she will think they slept together, but maybe she will wonder why Sungji avoided telling her that small detail

After this chapter, I don't think the things will flow as normal and predictable as we thought. TeamBlonde probably is still endgame, but until the end, I think we will get some twists or drama we haven't thought exactly
