I'm not sure if it is in Nozoki Ana or Nozo x Kimi as they're from the same mangaka, but I remember reading somewhere that one of them really have a yuri side couple without ending in het.

neither have a yuri couple end, Nozo x Kimi has unrequitted yuri in it, and the love interest of the yuri girl ends up falling in love with the MC-guy. yuri girl is just there for like 2-3 few chapters and kinda tossed aside after her story arc is done.

don't bother with any if you want yuri, just wasting your time.

Well, as a theory its quite flimsy, almost entirely baseless. The closest thing is that maybe the girls somehow need each other for some reason, and even that is a rather weak assumption so far... just going by what other shows (with a similar concept) have done, basically.

These girls don't just turn into weapons, they turn into monsters if not properly restrained by a liberator. The liberator serves as a host, who is also an infected herself.

Without proper treatment, infected women would kill their male partner during sex and or upon losing their sanity.

By fighting with each other, they reduce their stress and maintain their sanity, at a cost. They grow stronger and less humane, although sapience and what is considered to be a human is still there.

While a Liberator is as good as the training she receives, while physically enhanced it is the extasis or weapon she wields that makes her what she is. If certain conditions are met, the liberator and extasis can "merge" into a symbiote or a F-Class Threat.

aside of the male partner thing (which seems like it was just shoved in there for the sake of addressing males at all), this seems rather intense.

The creator has the tendency of putting some subtext-yuri stuff in other series(and their games), Subtext side will provide the emotional levels, as we already have the physical...Definitely will stay on its yuri path and probably intensify it.

If you can manage to get through the borderline-hentai fanservice, this series will probably be a good-whacky time for ya.

yuri was never alive to begin with, so subtext are more like desperate and weak gasps/attempts to live :p

That may be so with het harem, but not sure a yuri harem can afford to go for the "neverending" path with little to no progress. Doubt they get serialized long enough for that ^^;

Well, still at a risk for a rushed ending, but that's the case for pretty much any and all manga out there. If popularity does not follow, it's usually cut short.

not expecting full-blown romance, just "strong feelings" maybe, probably subtext. Multiple pairs of girls with many body types and character archetypes.

That is more an issue of that stuff never being scanned.

sure hope thats the case, that means that someone might scan em... someday... maybe...
