So, how do people who don't like initiating physical contacts view people who naturally are
into expressing affection sincerely even to people they meet for the first time? Are they annoying or something? I rarely consider people's feelings when it comes to that...

Well... I'm just feeling uncomfortable. But because of my body language these situation rarely happenig to me. I'm clearly showing people that I don't like that so they don't even try. But when someone is clueless... xD well, it depends. Mostly I don't mind about it (especially if someone is cute) but I usually say in very kind words to them to not doing it again in future because it bothers me.

Sounds fair enough, haha yeahh i am clueless most of the time, maybe should try change that and cause no more potential inconveniences to people, because usually sooner or later they just surrender before my desires xD

You know, for me physical contact is very important. Probably not in a way as for other people. For me it has much more deep meaning that's why it's important who and how touches me. For one person hugging, touching shoulder, clap in the back can be nothing special for other not :P Everything depends about person ;)

I think it's just her being afraid of having a closer relationship with Seol-A and getting hurt, not her being awkward initiating physical contact.

Actually y'all, I think trafi's right. I half-compiled all the "contact" No-rae moments and was going to analyze them, but it ended up taking way longer than I expected lol. Not enough hrs in the day with finals looming (and fifty bazillion projects/papers/assignments. evil professors).

To be fair, out of all the moments, the only one No-rae's actually ever initiated contact with was Kkyeong (the kid totally doesn't count haha), and even then, it was only three-ish times (and near the very start of the comic). Everyone else (and there's 50+ odd moments), it's been them->No-rae, including Hee-jin and her bro.

That being said, I'm now revising my opinion to No-rae is awkward with physical contact with everyone she's not ridiculously close with. She seemed pretty flustered (as well) the couple of times we saw Ji-hwan touch her as well (well, when she wasn't drunk anyways lol).

From my personal POV I can tell you I don't initiating physical contact not because I'm afraid of having a closer relationship with someone but because I just don't like it. it's something like HypocriticalLiar wrote "No-rae is awkward with physical contact with everyone she's not ridiculously close with." - but I would change that "ridiculously" :P it depends about person. I had very close friend but I still didn't initiating physical contact with her because no. But one time I met a girl and it just clicked. We just met but I felt comfortable with her and I don't have this "physical contact barrier" with her.

Also I agree that kids don't count. Another similarities - me & No-Rae - I have exactly the same relationship with my 3yo niece

Yes,i also noticed that No-rae keeps a distance, probably because i am the total opposite - a loving hugging monster :D hope No-rae opens up eventually :)

KcaT we have direct contact with her :) Questions were sent by fans for our event to celebrate 500 followers on Tumblr :) People could write to us via Tumblr or mail. Maybe in future we will do this one more time (or when people just write to us questions and we will have nice amount of them so I will sent them to Ratana :P).

Seol-a was just too depressed about her situation with No-rae to dress up and wear heels

I think she just didn't wear heels because she was driving and is more comfortable (and much safer!) to drive in sneekers or any other boots with flat sole. I honestly hate driving in heels no matter if it's high-heel or little. Always have pair for change.

Clever strategy.

You know, we decided to do that because we are not really sure when Ratana will publish chapters 8 & 9. It's "after selling vol 1" so we don't have exact date. We don't want to have very huge time gap between chapters 7 & 8, that's why we don't rush with this :)

I've seen comments (not necessarily here) calling No-rae a bitch or saying she's a bad person (as if they've forgotten every single chapter leading up to the recent ones) but, I believe she's mainly afraid. Fear and a strong desire to protect an already fragile heart can make a person say and do irrational things. It doesn't make you a bad person, it makes you human. And I love that ssamba portrays these emotional layers.

Yeah... some people are s/u/ch an assholes with describing her like that. i completly agree with you. It's just natural human reaction.

Yeah, but such a sanctuary would surely be for strange people.

But even if such a sanctuary existed, if only once you reached there, you could see all Tags somehow, then if only you could then find the Fluttering Feelings tag, such that you could see everything FF related.

I think whole chapter will be Seol-A's thinking about No-Rae action/behaviour (we can assume that trip to No-Rae hometown can take w while so it's plently of time for thinking when you drive) and maybe about her own feelings in this situation. Maybe in last frame we will see No-Rae surprised face when she will see Seol-A.

It was Sunday when No-rae realized her feelings, and then at least two days passed where No-rae was avoiding Seol-a. Seol-a hadn't actually seen No-rae on the let's-get-drunk-with-Kyung-Woo! day, until she ran into her eating lunch. We know from the previous chapters than they have class together [at some point in the day] every day, so I think it's safe to assume that it was Wed. Which would make "today" Thurs...and I think they have class in the morning and not the afternoon.
