And the idea that even with a strong sub/dom dynamic the love needs to be a two way street.... ahhhh, this author, this fucking author dude!!!! I can't fucking believe it seems like we're getting like a sort of powers-based battle anime where the progression and basis of power lies in kink, can we just take a moment for that? that is the coolest thing ever. It's incredible.

Also, also, I love the developing dynamic between Kiwi and Magia Sulfur. I can totally see them in a power struggle dynamic where they get to get their anger out in positive and loving ways, I super ship it.

While I do agree that the resolution was really weak (and kind of anti-climactic, let's be real), the way Sora's mother handled it was actually pretty realistic. My parents were neglectful, too. Whenever parenting got too hard or something involving me obstructed their personal plans, they had a "fuck this" attitude and would either leave me to figure it out myself or throw money at it for a quick fix-up. The ultimatum she gave Sora is also similar to the kinds my parents gave me, too, when I started reaching adulthood.

So, needless to say, as much as I wish for the climax to be a little more dramatic, it's still cathartic to see Sora's mother leave and I'm happy that Ayaka and Sora are finally together.

Yeah, the arc maybe felt a little forced and sudden, but the actual events of that arc felt super realistic to me. Parents like Sora’s mother seem scary and impossible to budge, but they’re actually just trying to force any potential problems out of the way to make it easier for themselves, and when that doesn’t work they’ll just drop the kid and dip. I think this was a reasonably good portrayal of abusive/neglectful parenting, and the whole thing of rescuing Sora hit hard because me and my found family have had to do that kind of stuff for each other.

Awww, shit. This really does feel rushed... maybe the author is trying to wrap it up before they go into treatment...? I would have been happy to wait... but I know that’s not how these things work.

Damn it. My dark, decadent lesbians... what will become of them? I wanted to see so much more development from them, but this looks like a two or three chapter wrap-up kind of development. It feels like we’ve already passed a Point of No Return, so the vampires aren’t going to pull back and give us another arc...

Ahhhh, I’m so worried! This story has been so awesome and exactly on my tastes from the very beginning, and it’s such a rare treat, but I feel like I’ve been anxious about the axe treatment this whole time... I’m gonna get an ulcer waiting for the next chapter...

For my part, this seems like it’s about mid web novel tier, but instead of being some more harem shit, it’s gay and anti-patriarchal and angry. Love me some lesbian rage. And it’s really cool to see a form and style like this that is typically so ingrained in a heterosexual male perspective, with its female-figure cardboard dolls meant to hold the character’s feelings towards women without being full people in and of themselves, turned on its head like this.

i felt viscerally uncomfortable reading this given some of the questionable scene in Fuzoroi no Renri. I feel like I can't read this author's work anymore. IDK, I can be alright with people writing about rape as long as there's strong boundaries going on on the author's end and it feels like they're getting something out with it. But I really fucking don't know where this author's boundaries lie or if they even have them. so. shit just makes me uncomfortable asf. I'm out.
