Okay, so I know this is almost certainly not the case, but what if Azami was trans? That would explain the few fond memories and the “I cannot tell you, not won’t but can’t” line as well.
Also, people tend to make more about the whole top/bottom thing than they really need to. While most do have a preferred ''role'', in my experience at least it's never a set in stone kind of thing. You should just do what feels good at the moment and not worry too much about it.
The meaningful looks are one of the great things about yuri/lgbt media in general. I can’t get enough of ambiguous loaded staring, they always make my heart flutter
Wow this is an astonishing amount of red flags. If all they do is play it off for jokes I’ll probably not get into this series tbh. I feel like I don’t have a great grasp on what this story actually is right now. Is it supposed to be an office comedy? A romance between her an the sex worker? An edutainment piece on the sex work industry in Japan? I have no clue where this is going.
Anyone knows if the original Chinese novel has been translated?
It doesn't have to be to English, I can handle French, Spanish and Portuguese if need be.
I'd really like to read it...
It has a page on novelupdates under the name “Universe’s most famous vinegar goddess” but unfortunately there’s only one chapter uploaded from late june.
I feel like once the story is complete I’m gonna have to read these flashback chapters in reverse order and bawl my fucking eyes out. In a way having the ending first and going back in time feels like the author trying to be kind to us and not just writing a slow descent into death.
This one shot and the manhwa Program Me are the only two examples of healthy bdsm relationships for a wlw couple I’ve ever seen. I was kinda scared by the tags but I ended up enjoying it a lot.
