Is there a variant of bittersweet, ie something starts out feeling both nice and kinda bitter at the same time, but then everything ends up better than expected and you're left feeling good about the future? Because that's how this story made me feel.

That blonde girl seems to think they're lesbians. I don't know if that's a reliable source or not but it's worth considering.

Three (unrelated) thoughts I've been having, which are probably all rehashes of things other people have said:

I'm relatively certain that the addition of Fukami won't create an actual love-triangle. I expect the most drama we'll get out of that will be Yamada's insecurity showing up. Again. Maybe we'll get some tension from a "Wait she's your girlfriend?" moment, but that's more likely to end up a comedic or light-hearted thing than a dramatic one. Perhaps a sort of light-bulb-turning-on "okay, that explains a lot" thing.

At this point I don't think there's a single person other than Yamada herself, in-fiction or otherwise, who thinks Kase is even capable of anything but completely and utter devotion to her.

I'm trying to think of what the most, uh, "real" drama has been in this series, and I can't really think of anything outside of self-esteem issues and worries about the future. And I'm not sure that's very likely to change, either. I think we've all just been conditioned to expect big drama in yuri.

edit: Thought four: I think we should start referring to Yamada as "Sweet Potato".

Bless Ticcy. I only slightly agree with her on that though. I do think it''s funnier if they're already together and are trying to keep it secret. But it's even better if they're already together, trying to keep it secret, and completely failing to do so. (And everyone else is thinking "I wish they would just come out already. They're not fooling anyone.")

I've got a compromise:

Keine talks with Sanae about school in the outside world and wants to try being a high school teacher. Keine uses her hakutaku powers to alter history, forcibly enrolling all her friends into her new high school. However, she gets a ton of stuff wrong about what outside world high schools are like since she only knows about what she heard from Sanae, and then guesses what the rest is like but with the mindset of someone who only really understands Gensokyo's world and way of life.

Hilarity ensues.

It's probably one of those things that everyone knows isn't true but they say anyways because it's harmless and it's just a part of the zeitgeist in their culture. Stuff like saying "bless you" when someone sneezes as (some) westerners do.

I wouldn't hold your breath for anything romantic happening between Ayari and Sachi. There could potentially be something with Eri and Sachi, since we've had that teased a little bit and Hiiraga Yutaka has done some yuri before, but Ayari and Sachi are almost certainly not gonna be a couple.

...Actually, now that I think about it, Eri x Sachi seems quite plausible, perhaps even probable. Something along the lines of "Eri tells Ayari that she likes Sachi. Ayari helps Eri cook food to win Sachi's stomach heart."

Personally, cute is the last thing I called displays of jealousy. Best I can do is a knowledge it as a character trait. Some guy on the radio said he liked making his girlfriend jealous. -_- don't wanna say what that made me feel like doing to him. idk. I seem to be at odds with the comment sections here half the time anyway.

Intentionally making your significant other jealous is, I would say, pretty different from someone being jealous that a little kid is being friendly with the person they like. That boyfriend sounds like a shit, I totally agree. In this case, however, it's really just a childish reaction to something innocuous.

Regardless, I'd say Adachi was mostly just annoyed that a strange little girl suddenly inserted herself into the plans she had to spend a day alone with Shimamura. Frankly I don't think Shimamura was particularly enthusiastic about it herself. She wanted Adachi to stay, and asked to make sure Adachi wasn't going to run away a few times. I guess she might have just wanted to not be left alone with the little girl, but I don't think that's likely.
