Don't trust it! You should totally read Claymore. None of those world building things happen until after the main story and plot points end and the author had to keep going. I mean, it did go on for like 5 volumes after that first ending if I remember right

I'm curious tho' if the morning glories are a dipiction of Maki and Kousaka-san "love" seeing as Morning glories have meanings such as Love that is in vain or Restricted love. You're on the right track. The specific flowers showing up in the series are all intentional. Which is true for every yuri clearly identifiable flowers show up in. Wikipedia says this one means "willful promises."

I also couldn't help but notice the farmer's co-op on the first page of chapter 3.

Or the fact that yuri proves again to make you better at ping pong.

Manipulation tends to be more toxic and targeted at emotions. To me this seemed more like social engineering.

Rape in manga is pretty damn common. We see it less in yuri, but it's a staple in Jousei (or use to be, at least) and was pretty common in those melodramatic shoujo romances, not to mention I hear it was a yaoi go to. It might be really off putting to us, but it's still a romance manga mainstay. Also pregnancy and abortion, which is a level of angst and drama I hope it doesn't escalate to.

The series isn't far enough out to tell yet! We're only at Chapter 12. I speculate that Aoi might die before they can figure out how to save Sara, if that's what they end up trying to do.

Further speculation, on page 18 of chapter 9, they went to the 3rd year classroom and acted out class because Sara will be dead before she can ever become a third year. Friendly reminder that this story has always been weirdly uncomfortable and dark.

There are a lot of people that do this, but when publishers figure what they'll continue and work on, they look at pre sale and early sale numbers. We hurt those figures a lot by scanlating something like Eclair, whereas something like White Lily generated interest in it in the first place (and is more open to more readers that wouldn't have read it already).

Collections of one shots don't sell nearly as well as series do in the West, and the yuri series that have been published in English were already proven successful here and in Japan. Since this is weaker out of the gate as a collection and is a bit unknown when it comes to popularity, lack of sales due to scanlation will hurt it more than something like Boom Into You, which is more open to new readers that aren't hardcore into yuri. Basically, Eclair is for genre specialists like us, but we're all here on Dynasty and don't need to buy it if it's all hosted here.

They determine what they'll publish next by presales though! So please pre order Eclair!

SiberOwl returns, woohoo! It was touch and go for a few chapters there. One quick correction for the soon to be camping enthusiasts out there, that's an iron skillet in chapter 13 rather than a steel one. Steel ones are your standard pans and can be prepared and cleaned as normal, but the iron ones need all that care. They last forever though, mine is 60 years old and looks brand new.

This is the 3rd chapter of Mushoku to JK. Seems like Eclair Blanche is getting ignored by fan translators?

We'd need access to it first. But Eclair is a tricky anthology to work out of. It's one where scanlating from it is definitely going to hurt sales of the professional release and make it less likely that they'll continue releasing each anthology. It's super rare that the publishers take on collections like these.

It's morally unsound to work out of and puts us in a bit of a conundrum.

I for one support this choice! For too long yuri has been plagued by stories about half-hearted girls, it's good to see someone with standards and a sense of morality take a stand.
