You do realize that by likening prison to the slavery, you're also saying that the latter is comparable to the former? In no way it is. Whatever you thought that comparison helped you express, it's a lapse of judgment.

I also have a hunch that statement is factually wrong, and I can tell from the absolute numbers you're claiming.

I approve of this. It's also less unethical than what Little Albert was put through.

It isn't until she sees Ruki desperately trying to scramble the perfect date, and then crying when they get lost, that she knows she's the shoulder Ruki needs. That she needs to take charge and make Ruki happy, not the other way around. When she asks her sister if she's okay with her having a girlfriend, I see that as a huge important part of Sachi's growth as a person. If she kept it a secret and pretended like they were friends, sure, you can call her an asshole. But she doesn't; she wants to make sure her family is fine with it.

Thanks for describing in detail some of the things I enjoyed in this chapter throughout your whole post.

I think a lot of people failed to notice that Sachi only started to take their relationship seriously that evening and thus judged her prior actions from her current mindset, which doesn't really make sense. Still, it's hard to wrap your head around that she went as far as cheating just for personal enlightenment/enrichment, as Trafi correctly says.

I'm wondering if we'll see how their relationship turns out in the last chapter. I expect it to be something different, maybe a time skip as it is just called "finale".

By acting egoistically for once, she realized that this suits her more, she says so herself. However, that doesn't mean she'll treat Ruki (again) badly in the future.

Yep, I thinks this follows from her acknowledging she hurt Ruki by her actions and her realization that she herself is the person she wanted to be there to protect Ruki all along. The only question is if Ruki will be happy with the 'new' Sachi she got.

It's a bit twisted, but a believable character dynamic.

e: I also think this story is a totally different read if you are able to read it in one go.

I for one think that this chapter was exceptionally well narrated. I also think Sachi loves Ruki, although in a very Shuninta kind of way. That she tells her sister/family is also a detail you don't see that often in yuri manga.

Watch it in your mid-twenties for the best viewing experience.

That was fun. On a side note...just about every afterword I've read the author is always finishing their story at the last minute...must be a job requirement!

@RR: yes and no. They are ships, not school girls and the anime has been a bit underwhelming so far. Arpeggio has better naval warfare. In terms of quality, it's more like Sky Girls and no Strike Witches.

NOW! As for Love Live! I'm seeing a helluva lot of couples being paraded around here. So, I have to ask... is it worth watching or would I be disappointed?

If you would have to make time to be able to watch it, probably not. If you have time on your hands, go for it. It's decent, with a focus on the members of Muse, not so much the actual music and competition and having watched it made reading the doujins even more enjoyable for me. But don't expect too much, there isn't any MakixNico.
