"i fucking kiss men too" was outright amazing
They must put that on a guide of how to not come out to parents.
The two yaoi guys in TS are funny, because they are always awkard with each ther lol. Especially how the big one is usually looking at the shorter like here

Forgot to reply to this, good to see that someone else see how great Nya and Nya x Eins is. Tbh, as much I wish she gets 2 eps like everyone, it makes sense that her "arc" is only one ep because she was always the most stable of the group.
True, isn't it a bit bizzare how the slothest girl is also the most reasonable? Like she is probably the only one who will escape from becoming Saya's haremite lol. And was always staying outside the silly drama going on in the baths.
Her story with Eins also felt more real, and not just a plain reason like bffs or crush etc.
I like these type of stories because romance is the easiest way to write and develop a character and explain their motivations behind their actions. But betrayal and regret is less common and maybe more realistic. Also it hurts more than the rest.
But I shipped these two since episode one when Eins was trying to make Nya fight her xD
Well, her being lazy still shouldn't be an excuse to why her episode was only 1. But maybe they did this so she can get more development in the final battle as well.
I'll check the link when I get some free time!
and also can't help but read that in Kirigiri's voice due to your avatar (great choice btw!)
haha Kirigiri is awesome! She's easily in my top 5 of favorite characters hope she's alive ;/
Let's not forget why some anime get more popular and boosted more than their objective worth. It's all about the target audience. And since there had been stuff that are average/simply ok been praised a lot in the past too,(not just anime but movies, books etc) it's a fact that some people just want a mood booster.
They want to self insert into someone who is plain, but at the same time, for some magical reason, everything falls on their feet without trying much. They don't want to self insert, or better empathise into someone who has to try and fail a lot of times until they have imrpoved. It's the easy and the happy choice. A way of escapism as well.
In Re:Zero's case this trying and failing is being executed the wrong way.
So yeah, no wonder harems are popular. It's the epitome of not doing anything and having everything, more presicely girls/boys. fall on your feet.
Also, when something is this hyped, then it tends to follow the snowball effect. People start to like it and praise it because everyone else does.
Well it's worth watching, but I can't really say that the female characters kick ass to be honest. I see them as side characters that (some of them) pander to the mc. But again that's just me.
Re:Zero is an ok anime. But I don't consider it the masterpiece as some other fans. It's not something crazy that hasn't been shown before, but the story is still interesting and easy to watch.
My main problem is the characters and the MC. I want to like him, but he is just so annoying. Since the story and the rest of the characters revolve around him, and end up praising him, I at least would like him to be praise-worthy.
Also Rem, the second girl that is in love with him(the main girl is not exactly in love with him yet) is the ultimate waifu for many fans of the show, but I find that she has lost her character in an attempt to boost the MC. It seems like she's one of these type that constantly say how great the mc is, but their words are actually cliche and a bit meaningless. hides from Re:Zero and Rem fans
Best anime this season is Danganronpa 3, 10/10 by far the rest. Great story, amazing characters, plot and feels. Definetely would recommend anyone to watch it.
Also about some yuri shows. I only watched Ange Vierge, and unfortunately it is dissapointing yuri-wise. the story is not that boring, it's ok.
Best couple was Sofina and Almaria and they had to destroy it by making Almaria lust after MC's blood, and turn the MC into a harem protagonist.
Also best girl and potential couple got only one episode, while some other more boring girls got two episodes. So dissapointing.
I tried to watch Love Live but I really find it very difficult, even if there is yuri. I can't finish a single episode of idol-type animes

Yeah we've seen No-Rae checking Seol-A out before. Like when they were going to No-Rae's friend art exhibition and No-Rae looked at Seol-A's legs inside the bus.
Of course this is no strong enough evidence, but we can only partly assume from minor things, as this issue was never brought up. Because if we only believe with solid evidensce, we don't even know if she had sex with Sung-Pyo or if she liked it either.
But since they are definetely romantically attracted to each other, chances are they would be physically attracted to each other as well. And Ssamba has drawn them together like that a couple of months ago (the bed picture). Not that it was part of the story, but since it's official art it is a good indication.
But the girls in this story are unaware of their sexuality or what. I think they are two straight girls that just happen to develop feelings for each other in a very gradual way. That kind of story. It's all about the feelings regardless of orientation or other lgbt term thingies.
It is about love without making about lgbt vey much. But let's be honest. Neither of them is straight lol. By definition they can't be. They are probably both bi
I don't understand how people think this is not going to end yuri? It is a yuri genre, not het. I can see why some people could be scarred if it was just labeled as "romance", but yuri is pretty clear what it is going to be like. That doesn't mean there won't be any drama in the future of course.
Some readers might prefer to not see any relationship and interaction of girls with guys at all, so yes, from this perspective NTR is not fine. But I doubt there will ever be any het scene fully shown or Yuma sleeping with a guy offscreen though.
I personally am more worried about Hotaru's personality and how Fujiwara will mess things up. But despite what he does, i don't think he will every get a threesome or anything. Worst case scanario, school and Takeda learns about Hotaru and Yuma.
Also that promotional picture does not have to be directly related to the new chapter's story. Yuma quit that job immediately last chapter. Doubt she would ever go back as a potential employee again
well, here it is
Thanks I already found it. That's a bizzare video tbh lol. I hope we get more promotional videos until the beggining of S2.
So, I've been gathering some information lately about H!E regarding its novel and the differences between the anime. Anime is following the novel's plot a lot. But there are some essential differences in the characters' reactions and small details changed here and there that can really give a different idea about their true feelings and motivations.
First, in episode 8.
When Kumiko gets asked from Shuichi to join him to the Agata Festival, it seems that she did want to go, bu then thinks of Hazuki and that her friend would get hurt. In the anime, it was already clear she didn't want to go to the festival not only because of Hazuki, but mostly because she had realised what that would mean (giving the ok for Shuichi to get it further).
In the novel when she grabbed Reina, Reina seemed not very pleasantly surprised. She was also holding her bag and left the class (not 100% sure about this, but most probably true) because their session was over.
In the anime, Reina just "happened" to go out for something the moment Kumiko left and Shuichi followed her. She also had pokerface instead of being surprised. As if she understood what was going on.
In the final scene of them waiting for the results to be announced, in the novels Kumiko had actually her hand interwinded to Shuichi's. In the anime it was Reina. This is a pretty strong difference.
Also I feel like Hazuki's story is being developed in a direction of her and Shuichi possibly getting together if Kumiko rejects him. It would be much more consistent for them to date instead of Kumiko and Shuichi, considering the development these two "pairs" got from Season 1.
And in the novels Kumiko didn't seem apathetic to Shuichi. She seemed nervous and not ready for being with him. In the anime though, there is not a single reference that she sees him as something more than a friend. So if they wanted to make them happen, why wouldn't they make Kumiko just a bit more interested to him?
Now the cons are that when Kumiko's seiyuu was asked, she said that this is just a phase girls go through. Also the author of the Novels pretty much insisted that the ending is Kumiko and Shuichi and the girls have only a strong friednship.
I don't expect them to get an actual confirmation or anything in canon, I just think it wouldn't be impossible if there is an open ending between Kumiko and Reina and Kumiko rejects Shuichi and he starts dating Hazuki instead.
If this doesn't happen, well I know it will be pretty sad.

it made Seju look like a victim and now, they're finally making her the antagonist
Yeah. This chapter is finally setting Seju for the antagonist. I just hope they don't make as bad as actually forcing herself into Sumin in the future. Because she crossed the physical bundary line in this chapter. Especially after all that happened with the cheating.
It seems that if there was any chance of TeamPink ending, this wouldn't be the route to develop them. Seju would have to back off for a while instead of falling more.
I have a feeling this is a red flag for Seju. As if they are setting her up for an accident in the future. Like she turns quite unlikable, and then she has an accident that will redeem her again.
I wouldn't be surprised one bit, if Sumin goes after Sungji now but in the future it is revealed (maybe after some accident) that she actually didn't quit because she wanted to be close to Seju too.
Also if Seju was responsible for Sumin's failed relationships in a more than an emotional way.
But her character proves that there a more reasons to like a character than them only being a good person.
I agree with you people. This is last arc and of course we all know what has to happen. For Sumin and Sungji to end up together, Seju has to do something wrong, so the balance finally swifts in favor to them. She is being persuasive the wrong way. Also yandere mode is activated.
But if reading these two arcs taught me something, I belive that even until the very end more things will happen, so this on and off angst will keep on. I think Sumin will still think of Seju at some point again, maybe still questioning her position with Sungji, then Seju will fuck it up more and this pattern will be repeated until the end when Sumin will have finally moved on.
It will be TeamBlonde, but Seju fans will suffer the most in the process. These highs and lows of this manhwa are the strongest elements that give a rush to the readers and keep them hooked. It's a strategy for writers to capture the readers.
Team Gaji knows well what they're doing, but it's a bit sadistic move nonetheless.
@anon4567
I don't mind depressing stories, in fact I like angst. But when I can connect with the characters.
In Gunjo I can't connect with them at all, so I don't think I would ever like it tbh.
I think there are other ways to show that someone is strong instead of having them beaten up and physically abused. Also if she was this strong she shouldn't have stayed with him to the point of prefering to kill herself instead of living. Or take advantage of the blonde and destroy her life like that too.
But we are getting pretty OOT here, so I'll stop. Point is, I see no similarity with WDTFS and this, just because they both have dark elements (Gunjo more though). Cause the characters in wdtfs are much more likable and relatable imo.
Well gunjo is deffinetly one of the best strongest mangas i ever read but ...it certainly not for every one's tast ....its really dark and mature and tragic and sometimes cringworthy but one thing is for sure its one hell's of experience that will really make wdtfs like nothing ...i personally loved the art style is so unique and amazingly detailed ..as for the lead lady she is very interesting as well and has a fucking strong character . Which made the interaction between her and blonde woman who's in love with her really great but at the same time sad ! weather its the way the their relationship progress under the tragic circumstances of killing someone. and the huge amount of slapping in it XD , or the unrequited love thing which was frustrating as hell ,,i was blown away so fucking real !! .. definitely not recommended for those who want romance and fluffy and etc this one is for strong hearted kkkk
You should really give it anothet try ..what ch did you drop it ?
I dropped it when they appeared in her ex gf house for the first time. From the whole series, I liked the flashbacks of these two together (blonde and her ex, forgot their names) , and knowing that this is about the main straight lady (well I guess not so straight in the future considering the nature of the manga, but still) and the blonde I dropped it.
Cause really, I can't wrap my head around of how she could dumb her gf of 10 years for a woman who didn't give a damn about her, and even kill a person for this. Well there was an understandable explanation but still.
I know love has no logic etc, but I just find the main character quite unlikabble. I can't understand how and why the blonde loved this person so much to completely destroy her life like that. Maybe in the future this is well explained, but I really find it difficult to care about it.
Tragedy doesn't equal deep. It was mostly painful and random events and violence. And a murder.
About the art, there is something that makes me uncomfortable the way they are drawn. And maybe this sounds a bit wrong, but since it is a comic/manga and not a book, I also want the art to be a bit appealing. Cause the artstyle feels like it got out of someone's nightmare or something.
Now WDTFS may be tragic and angsty a lot, but it's the type of angst that will get through, and make me want to read more.
Gunjo on the other hand is the type of angst that just makes me uncomfortable and I don't wanna see more. But this is personal of course.
Also the difference between these two regarding the characters, I'd say is that in WDTFS the characters move the plot, while in Gunjo the plot moves the characters more.
oh .. you guys should really read a manga called " gunjo " or "gunjou" its the most powerful mature , tragic story i've ever read ?! that will make WDTFS look like child's play !!! trust me don't be scared or fooled from the cover or art style witch i find amazing ! ...the story is by far the most intense and powerful i've ever read ,, it has about 21 ch that you can find in every manga site ..
Nah it's nothing like WDTFS. I like angst, but this particular one I find quite cringey. Especially the main character, really. I dropped it around 1/3 cause I was starting to feel uncomfortable. And I'm not refering to the art, which is offputting as well.
The bitter aftertaste it left in my mouth was it being 2 chapters of no progression and constant repeating of "I want to monopolize her, Im a bad person". I just felt like I wasted my time.
Apparantely this is not the last chapter tho, so I hope something will actually happen in the finale.
It is only 3 chapters, so there is not much room for developing things more than that to be honest. I think the progress is fine. The whole point is, it shows the process of Mao figuring her feelings out, to how far she goes to selfishly keep Itsuki single, even though she knows she won't date her anyway.
It actually makes a good basis for a longer story and these chapters serve fine for introduction. But in the end it is left for the readers' imagination, since it's short.
Maybe as progress you mean Mao starting to get attracted to Itsuki, but remember that this might not be the author's intention to begin with. because not every story has to have the couple ending up together. It might want to teach other things
Spoiler I read the last chapter and
Not much happens either. I think Itsuki will get a girlfriend at some point and move out
last edited at Sep 2, 2016 8:30AM
I'm not even sure if what she feels is romantic love too. She is not socialy very good and doesn't have many friends. The way she said it seemed like she is only acquitances with them instead of friends. So when a girl talked to her like that she felt important.
Just like some girls who stick around a guy who they doesn't actually like, only because he boosts their ego. They probably think similar like Mao.
Or plot twist, she has internal homophobia that prevents her from feeling sexually attracted to Itsuki
I don't care what other people saying.
Mao is still a jerk.
I hope Itsuki get a girlfriend and leave her.
I agree. Everyone has insecurities, but that doesn't make everyone a jerk about it. Mao may be acting sweet to her friend, but deep down they both know she does it to manipulate her. Not that she doesn't feel any of it at all, but at least a good portion.

Sexual preference can be different than romantic. So it is possible to be emotionally attracted to one gender but not physically attracted to them, which seems like the case here so far.
I mean she said she finds the thought of touching Itsuki's v disgusting. I lol'ed there tbh. Naoko sensei has some guts to write this type of stories for a yuri magazine haha xD
It's this type of story that's kinda wrong but interesting at the same time. gonna wait to see what happens in NTR this month
Was that the last chapter of this arc? Mao girl seems hetero regarding sexuality but biromantic. It reminds me of a situation I've heard in the past where two women, one straight and another bi where married to each other but didn't sleep together.
And seriously, if these two got into a relationship, it's quite possible Mao would want to sleep with men while being with Itsuki. Not saying this is certain, but the possibility is still there. So it would be pretty bad for Itsuki imo.
Itsuki does the best to not confess to Mao. She probably instinctively knows can feel it won't end up well. Mao seems like the type of asshole friend who is just too selfish and at some point they will do something nasty and catch you off guard.
But besides that, it's still interesting reading these type of stories with people like that as MC, cause we get a glimpse on what they think behind their actions.

They are suffering because they are in a relationship, so they choose to be single so that they will be not suffering anymore. That isn't a healing imo.
Why isn't this healing though? Some relationships just cannot be saved and they only damage the people involved. Also the healing part might not be as absolute as we may make it seem to be.
Meaning that maybe some of the characters could very well not end up completely or relatively happy either. Gaji saying it doesn't mean they have to follow it 100% for each character.
Seju cutting her hair is a positive sign of changing for better, but that doesn't mean she will be with Sumin. I think we could delude ourselves that Seju has still chances because Gaji made it look like that so it won't be too boring until the end, but honestly in the end it's Sungji who is probably meant for Sumin.
My guess now is that Seju will always remember Sumin's love even if they are not together, and that will give her the strength to move on and fight in her life. She already seems to got stronger because of Sumin's confession. I mean that scene and the lighting that was falling on her in the end, felt like someone gettng freedom and/or strength.
Maybe in th end Sungji even accepts that they are still important to each other and doesn't mind them still keeping contact as friends.
So that would be a good ending imo. But who knows, were can all guess now and then next chapter comes and screws everything up.
Guys, please explain a bit more on why wdtfs is a healing story when Sumin doesn't end up with anyone.
Because healing and being single can go together too. And really this aplies to all of the three, not just Sumin.
But to be honest, I'd be quite suprised if Sumin doesn't end up wit Sungji. I still believe they have 90% chance of endgame
this chapter made me wish that WDFTS story started with Seju x Sumin than the original timeline. those flashback are just cruel and brutal lol. those romantic moments of them make me feel like they really are meant for each other but dun, dun, dun the reality is, not every relationship have a fairy tale ending
My feelings exactly ;-;
expectation on the next chapter. I hope the artist will add POV scenes of Sungji cause she feels like a secondary character. it will be easier to connect with her, if they will add POV scenes of her because since from the start, it look like every WDTFS reader are making assumptions/guessing on what she's thinking rather than relating to her.
True. Not only Seju x Sumin is strong, but at the same time we don't get enough material to be easier to connect with Sungji. At least, of course, for me. Because I know there are a lot of Sungji lovers out there. i don't dislike her, I just don't find something in her that captivates me like Seju
last edited at Aug 29, 2016 5:30PM
I do wonder if Seju's going to fight to get Sumin back now more than ever (If so, I'm interested in her ways of doing it), or is she set on moving on now that she knows that Sumin still do love her. Either way, who knows what will happen next.
I believe she is more determined to fight for Sumin. Not only for the fact that her hair cutting gives me the feeling of her wanting to go back to these days where Sumin loved her (and she had short hair back then). But also for the fact that there is still a whole arc left, and if she moves on so fast, there will mostly be Sumin and Sungji for the rest of the arc, which would make things a bit anti-climatic.
But I really want to see her using genuine ways to get Sumin back instead of doing malicious stuff. This chapter gave me a nice vibe about Seju, so I hope they will start developing her character in a healthier way instead of screwing her even more. So if she doesn't get Sumin back, at least she will be on the right mindset and able to stand on her own without Sumin in the future.
Sungji seems to be showing a part of herself we never seen before, I like it. It gives her character more layers that will probably be unfolded more in the future. Also it seems that she was feeling that Sumin was ready to leave her all along, but she didn't say anything, and maybe did all these nice things to try and get Sumin closer to her.
They are finally at the confrontation stage of their relationship, which was always really important to happen, but well this was a really bad way nontheless.
As for Sumin x Seju, all along their bond seems to be very strong, even after all of these things that happened to them. Even after Seju cheating, this didn't break their bond. Which to me is remarkable, as quite few people seem to get bored of their partner easily and eventually they break up because there is nothing left. This is the thing I like about them all during the story andmade me ship them.
The way things are so far, even if Sumin chose Sungji after trying hard to redeem herself for the cheating, I still have this feeling that she will always love Seju. Maybe a little more than Sungji.
But who knows, the way it is now, maybe noone will end up with anyone in the end. Or somehting unexpected happens.
She getting her hair cut short might means that Seju wants to drag Sumin to get back to their old days (back when she has her hair short, bringing back the first love vibe). Because now she knows Sumin still loves her.
That's the impression I got from her cutting her hair too. Also Sungji got mad about the cheating after all, so it's good for her character instead of her forgiving Sumin.
After this, I think we can't predict the end with certainty.
Re-read the chapter again, and yeah it was Seju who said "I know" and "Now I know" while recalling the words Sumin said to her earlier. Was a little bit confused there.
The text is in black box, which means she remembers these words from the past. What Sumin said to her in previous chapter. And the other is her thoughts
