^ I really don't get what your problem is. You act as if this were the first manga most of us here read. Stories more often than not are reasonably predictable and very rarely drastically change after a first chapter. If it turns out differently, fine, but it won't, so what's the fuss about?

It's literally the first chapter? The way the allegedly-pregnant woman bites her nail while wondering where the heroine disappeared to clearly indicates that something is going on there.

Of course whether it's some sort of love-triangle or something else we don't know. But it's Kodama. ^^

Agreed on the everything that's been pointed out, but let's be honest, for this type of story it's very, very mild. It's practically a wonder she doesn't have 1 in all stats because as a girl she wants to be saved all the time or somesuch shit ...

Could be, Miyuki in the present time (no flashback) seems to know Asuka likes her mom, she probably started saying "Mom" when they were making out and suddenly Miyuki stopped.

I thought I remembered that Miyuki in this flashbacks shows some awareness that Asuka is into someone not her, and so far she doesn't seem to care. But it might very well be that I misremember and that was shown in a different time-line; who knows with this incestception story here... ^^;

I mean, if it's what two consenting adults decide they want for themselves, there's little reason to complain, but inevitably it's all about familial and social pressure ... and marrying off your 14-year old daughter to some 45-year old uncle. ^^

I'm mostly wondering what will interrupt them, 'cause frankly I don't see it actually happening. The series so far is too "low drama".

a) Asuka herself decides otherwise. Could be, if she gets another "I actually like mom" flash.
b) Jun comes to her rescue. I mean, he could be useful for once for something!?
c) Ayako randomly runs into them and thus inadvertently rescues her daughter. Obviously this fits with the romance-theme of getting rescued by your love interest.
d) Akira is coming back from a trip (again) and rescues her. That'd be a clear indication of the threesome route (no way ^^)
e) Rui somehow comes to her rescue. This might lead to their "reconciliation".
f) One of Miyuki's lovers/girlfriends/whatever interrupts them, thus screwing up her chances with Asuka.
g) Miyuki herself decides otherwise after she notices Asuka is into someone else (fat chance ^^)
h) Aliens.

Tough to decide honestly.

I mean, they are still teens. That doesn't excuse everything they do but it's a bit much throwing them in the same box as a random sexual predator; you grow up, you try boundaries, you mess up. And we currently don't know all that much about Miyuki's circumstances. It's unlikely, but for all we know she genuinely wants to be with Asuka and that hickey comes from something else entirely.

I actually got to play some 3DS Fire Emblem lately, but I can't say I'm too into it. Having a strategy game but (basically) no AI is kinda stupid; and the plot is "very shounen anime". "I don't trust you!" "Let's fight!" "You beat me. I have felt the purity of your motivations. Now I will join your cause." ^^

I don't particularly get it either. I suppose the romance? Reminds me otherwise more of Azazel-san or even something like xxxHOLiC or whatever. Protagonist-runs-into-supernatural-situation-and-joins-some-sort-of-agency-that-protects-ordinary-people-from-them.

Emotionally blackmailing lolis into doing dangerous stuff; a true staple of Japanese manga ...

Anyway, looks like they'll have a master/servant thing going on. Could be fun.

Hrm, usually I'd be more enthusiastic about this, but given that Prison Town didn't really live up to its potential, and the Maou-version of this story wasn't too great either, I'll be more reserved about this ^^

It's pretty typical for this type of 4-koma I'd say. They always keep all options open and at some point just stop. Well. Most of the time anyway. I don't think this necessarily means it got "axed", it might just have been decided that it'd be discontinued (at least to me that's a difference ^^).

That she's actually so vocally opposed is kinda refreshing. Usually it's all "Yes, father."

This kinda reminds me of the one where two orphans were BFFs, and one was unknowingly a dragon who only turned into a dragon and ate people when someone was bullying the other. That one had a Bad End all around

At least it was never outright illegal, unlike many Western countries at the same period, where they'd have to fear all sorts of repercussions (depends on the exact date and country and frankly some randomness of course). Not that I imagine it'd be easy in Japan during that period either ^^
