ITT: The concept of a story being intended to run for three volumes, which is by most accounts a pretty good run as far as web-distributed yuri manga is concerned, is apparently unheard of.

Like srsly guys, you can be sad it's ending, but the whole automatic assumption that any series that ends has been axed is so old it could have its own age gap romance. Honestly, I can't think of much more you can add to this story that won't stir up the "is this forced drama?" crowd. Also this series packs a damn lot into a single chapter, so don't be surprised if the final one is so meaty that it ends up getting split into multiple parts again.

I've seen enough recent examples of actually axed manga to tell you this is not one of those. (Heck, the final omake for Seifuku no Vampiress Lord was literally "well shit, I got axed). There are certainly many series that we wish could go on longer (and on the other end of the scale, series that probably go on for too long), but it's only when an author has a pretty obvious vision that never gets to see the light of day that it can truly be called "axed".

Basically the main thing that seperates Pripara from something like Aikatsu is that it's set in a digital realm so people can give themselves different identities should they choose. In the case of the two featured here, Lala is in elementary school and sports an older appearance while in Pripara, whereas Mirei, who is a bubbly idol in Pripara, is a strict and stern disciplinary committee girl irl. There's a few nice gaps here and there throughout the series. (For clarification's sake, the events mentioned in this doujin take place around episode 79.)

I'm thinking two options:
1) Go for a singular popular choice, which imo would be either Min Min or Twintelle. (Probably the latter since they have regular arms to pick up items and stuff.
2) Go the Bowser Jr/Hero route and have a multi-skin option of characters that could easily have identical animations, which would be Spring Man, Ribbon Girl, Min Min and Ninjara, with other characters repped with alt colors.

Bear in mind that they made Chrom playable but he's still featured in Robin's Final Smash, so being an AT doesn't necessarily rule Mr. Boiyoiyoing out entirely. That was just his only option at the time since Arms was released so late in Smash's development.
