Do it, become front page news! It’ll either be that, or this will cause friction in their relationship because someone else bought it and Youyan didn’t bid but did bid on the other item. If President Tao does buy it, I see this being an item that resolves this friction later on when Youyan reveals she bought the artwork through President Tao.

Oh, thinking about it more, I bet that guy Xiu was supposed to marry bids and tries to buy (and did buy previously) the painting.

Yay! Riri finally showing up again! I still think Karin has a shot. That’s gotta be rough to have been determined to go into acting and get so far but not be able to make the cut. But with her sense of taste, I bet she would make for a great sommelier. And I agree that Mei was on a roller coaster there with Karin, trying to let logic rule and not her hormones make her choices. Riri and Karin are still my top choices.

As sad as I am that it’s over, it just means the author can hopefully start a new series that’ll allow them to lean more heavily into the nsfw content. But I’ll always remember it for having a batting cage scene in a non-sports manga. Maybe we’ll get some more twitter shorts while we wait.

Ouch, that wasn’t fun to read. That’s a tough situation. Can understand both perspectives here. Youyan regrets her decision made at a time when she was (probably rightfully) afraid of what coming out would mean for her. A’Xiu, however, was deeply hurt and can’t trust that Youyan will actually want to go all the way this time. Youyan wants to do better, but trust is hard to get back once broken.

Wonder who Fang Shan is and what role she played/will play in the story. Clearly, Youyan has a negative connection with her.

I'm in awe, the combination of scheming of honest romance and feelings in those recent chapters is just incredible. Youyan is clearly acting manipulative but in such a pure way, and transparent to those involved after the fact, that I can't even slightly fault her for that.

Came for movie star drama yuri, stayed for 4D chess social engineering yuri.

So true! I love this series and Presumptuous for how the authors tackle social media presence and how that impacts the daily lives of celebrities.

You could always watch the anime first, it does a very good job of condensing most of the manga, up to close to where the story is now.

This may come as a surprise, but I'm not really an anime guy. It hás been years since I last watched an anime (I don't believe Vox Machina and RWBY count). I rather read the mangas. But, who knows? Maybe this will make me interested enough to watch the show.

The anime is quite good! Very high quality, IMHO. I'm keeping up hope that we'll get a season two. It deserves one, for the Tokyo and Play arcs alone.
