Regardless of what Shizuku thought about it, she did bully Ruri. And it's a shame she ended up running away instead of apologizing and trying to make up for it. Honestly, it's hard to root for her when all she's doing is feeling sorry for herself. That's not very sympathetic.
I can have sympathy for her because it is something that happend 5 years ago so she would be 11 or 12 at the time. When you are that young you don't have the best decision making and its easy to make mistakes/be scared. This also gives her character a lot of room to grow.
I have no personal experience with coolmic (maybe because they don't translate in Italian), are they that bad?
So far it's been readable. A bit stilted in some places and the way they split it up is really annoying (instead of following the actual chapters it's sold in 10 page 'episodes' but sometimes one of the pages of those episodes is the chapter page that says "episode 2" when you're on episode 4 according to coolmic) but it's like 50 cents for 10 pages so it's cheap.
Overall it's not fantastic but it's at least better than what seven seas did to Next Door Demon Girl
Did 7 Seas mess up the Demon girl next door manga? It is one of the ones I would really want physical.
This one-shot is peak fiction. I wouldn't mind seeing a serialization or sequels based on this. A sequel with the other finding out who really is the top.
That was really cute! I'm going to go forward assuming that it is a poly-harem ending with the three girls. Akemis seems to nice to actually turn any of them down.
The one adoption loophole (for same sex couples)I heard of in Japan is one is put down as the parent and the other signs as a legal guardian. I can't say much for how reliable or authentic it is but it's the main way I heard of.
Reread this for the first time and got to say it hurts a lot more on the second read. Brought me to tears which did not happen the first time. Being older and more mature allowed it to hit harder.
