I'm definitely not entirely comfortable with this chapter, but I'll stick around for a while, hopefully it gets better
I'll be blunt, the low point for this kinda stuff is probably chapter 5 and then it gets less overtly aggressive from that point on. I'm thinking of releasing double chapters to blunt the impact slightly, if possible.
I don't think it's gonna help avoid the complains but I'll stick with it until the end! if anything, just use a tag like dubious consent
or a warning page at the start, and if they read it anyway and get mad, that's on them.
Of course, I get it, it's more beautiful when everything works out mutually, but if it isn't the case and you're fully aware you just have to make a choice.
God I wish Dynasty used consent tags more consistently I'm real tired of being blindsided with rape scenes.
If there is a rape scene, it's generally tag as such you know. Here it's just that MC is guillable and the two neighboors are playing on it. They're just more aggresive (and lesbians) version of Hino-san.
Usually only if it's violent rape rather than that Japanese trope where the character is visibly distressed and keeps saying no but I'm expected to interpret that as her being coy.
Consent is sexy I wish they didn't always have people say 'no' over and over ugh.
I wonder if that's an 'actual japanese culture is this way in regards to being in sexually charged situations' thing or just a 'japanese media is this way' thing (probably both)
I suspect it's an artistic exaggeration of the existing societal expectation that women be extremely demure about wanting sex. There's a pretty massive genre of porn for the fetish of 'innocent/pure' women being corrupted into enjoying sex.
tbf, it's hot. Also to be fair, it's only hot if the innocent girl want to be corrupted, and is actively into her corruption. That's some A+ shit.
Consent is sexy, and this kind of stuff is only really good if there's a safeword involved and everyone fully understands and communicates what they're comfortable with. Which is something that's always left behind the scenes even though it's probably the most important step. And then people think it's normal and think people saying "no" is just for fun when it's not.
Oh I mean, yeah if we're talking CNC, what with 'corruption' that's not even necessarily CNC, I just meant girls who are presumed as innocent who actually are just kinda horny, and really want another girl in bed. But yeah for CNC safewords are obviously essential, as are checking in, and aftercare, and a bunch of other stuff that isn't handled. Proper BDSM never shows up in manga tho so that's not surprising, even if it is disappointing.
