I understand, they are young and it is their first love but bruh already the insecurities are very exploited, they touched on the subject many times and they never solved anything
I hope that the solution to this conflict is them actually talking instead of Yamada apologizing for making her feel insecure because if so then I prefer a thousand times that they break up and both get new girlfriends

nah i think she is lesbian
didn't she have something with girls before?

She didn't date anyone else but it has shown her reacting to other girls, like during her beach job.

yeah we leave it at it
in yuri mangas is like the're all gay until is proven that they aren't or [her love interest]sexual

"If you were a guy, I might wanna date you too"

Excuse you, Kase Tomoka? Care to explain yourself here?

I mean she is hiding the fact that she a lesbian (although she could be bisexual).

I thought she was exclusively Yamadasexual.

nah i think she is lesbian

A double date would be fun too. I'd just be happy if they got a friend they could openly talk to at this point.

i want them to have a double date too!!
it would be so cute and nanoha and chidori would be around people with whom they feel comfortable

so gayness came from the genes huh
I am happy that Aria lives in a time when more or less can be accepted if she likes someone of the same sex, too bad her grandmother did not have that opportunity but I will think that she died happy even if she could not be with whoever she wanted, she received love in it different ways, something precious: a family and a friend
;)

oh boy the manga is doing justice to the novel
i literally learned how to speak english reading this novel lol
I saw that someone doubted whether to read the second season or not, I left it in the middle because I did not have time but in fact it is quite good and has many romantic moments, the second season involves some issues about politics that are quite interesting without forgetting about all the fantasy and magic.
And claire and rei adopt two daughters and it's literally the cutest thing
PD:The author is really sweet she doesn't mind about people reading her work in illegal sites but i read somewhere that she was having some economic problems so if you can support her please do it :)

No it's not my thing
I do not complain about the writing and I can sympathize with much of the feelings of the protagonist but the way everything was handled was so toxic ... we went from stupid insecurities for past lovers to being unfaithful and ruining the relationship completely by converting it in one that is twice as insecure, that scene where the blonde hits Yuki and she explains to her crying that it was a coincidence that they met, she had me afraid, I understand that the blonde is insecure because she already cheated on her but ... hitting her without letting her give explanations? And after that, although by accident, a woman kissed Yukino to which she does not tell the blonde at any time, gosh,a lil of plot hole there(that plotwist of the friend resulting being "bad" all this time was also ridiculous)
I also have to add how incredibly annoying that arc is where Yukino "discovers her sexuality" not only the cheating annoyed me, but ALL THAT was to not reach any conclusion in the end, she only knows that she likes Setsuko and she turns out to be one a woman (typical yuri cliche).Yukino said she didn't like having sex with a man but when they ask her if she likes women she says she doesn't know ... it's so contradictory, and let's not even talk about Setsuko, she says she doesn't like penises (of the men at least) and it is implied that when she had sex with a woman for the first time "she understood" but later she tells Yukino that she really loved Kei at that time and later rejects him and says "nothing it's going to be possible between the two of us", because she is dating with Yukino? because she doesn't like dudes?idk i'm not against "not labelling urself" but they make it all so confuse
I can understand most from the time they were in but it left a bad taste in my mouth, I generally have no problem with this kind of story but this was just annoying.

i can't see Kyoko and Yui as more as friends like when they have "romantic" moments it makes me feel kind of uncomfortable since i feel like they have more a mother/daughther(?) dynamic
But Kyoko and Ayano....ahshsgsh it's just so cute, and Ayano in general is cute,i want them to end up together so bad but then again this is YuruYuri

I guess maybe I'm a dirty girl but I really wanna know why Shimamura was just so warm and fuzzy after her date with Adachi and what exactly she meant by not the only part of her that felt satisfied lol

wait
when did she said that?

On the ace topic I would like people to keep in mind she could also just be deeply repressed. A lot of lesbians (myself included) struggle(d) sexually and often considered ourselves possibly asexual or ambivalent to sexual things because we have little to no framework about sexuality and the lesbian experience outside of pornography that's made to titillate men and isn't anywhere near our experiences in reality.

I relate a lot to Hinako idk why,i'm not lesbian i'm bi but the pressure of society to a woman to like men it's so relatableee

You guys think Shimamura will ever be the one being jealous? Her being her I really kinda doubted that'd happen, but then at the end of volume 9 we have that bit with her realizing she feels uncomfortable that Adachi is not giving her her full attention soooo idk it kinda made it seem like it could happen.

Is that what that girl working at Adachi's place has been building up to ? Shima going to visit her, sees another cute girl in a China dress and gets kinda jelly/worried?

Or that other girl that apparently had some admiration for Adachi ? The glasses girl that I'm pretty sure appeared in Volume 5 chapter 4 for a second.

That'd be pretty damn interesting lol, I wanna see Shima like that, it's not fair only Adachi is freaking out about Taru-chan.

I'd like to see that even though it feels a bit out of character
Hmm but seeing Shimamura jealous in her own way would be nice and cute, like, not wanting to show it or not understanding her own feelings since she's never felt like that before, that would be interesting...
I don't know when I began to want these little details in this novel as at some point I stopped caring that they kissed and now I just want them to h-hold ha-hands (but just after marriage,ok?)

You know something I really want to see from volume 10 ? Shimamura feeling loved and pampered, a scene that really stayed with me and hit me hard was that one where Adachi wants her to pat her head, and Shima says something along the lines of "you know sometimes I also want to let go and be pampered/spoiled", it was volume 7 I believe? Anyone remember the exact scene lol.

Now with Adachi being more chill and sure about Shimas love, I want her to give Shima a sense of being a girl in love I guess and that she can also act spoiled around Adachi and ask for such requests, not that she has to take care of Adachi all the time.

Shimamura being pampered by Adachi and feeling all satisfied? That sounds dangerous. My head might actually blow up. I just barely survived the first sleepover and the three confessions. After that I calmed down a little, but the conversation between Shimamura and Adachin in 9 volume about their relationship did also cause my head to go haywire. So I can't imagine surviving seeing Shimamura acting spoiled.

When it comes to this novel I'm literally Adachi. Yesterday I almost called my dog Shimamura, that's how often is this story on my mind. I was never in love, but this story changed that, I guess.

Me too, the story is so simple but at the same time it has something that leaves you hooked and wanting more, you become fond of the characters and their relationship. Also, the writing or the way of describing what the characters feel is so clear that I It makes me feel like I am inside the story ... although the lack of physical contact is frustrating, it is a "good strategy" for you to keep reading and waiting for even the smallest romantic moment. The story is so pure that even when they are just holding hands is enough to excite me, Jesus

However, there is also Hibike Euphonium with Kumiko and Reina, probably the biggest yuri bait ever. I'm still not over that one. I don't have a problem with Kumiko ending up with Shuuichi, but they made Kumiko and Reina so hella gay. Like you really can't just write it off as friends. I am a girl and have girl friends, but we are no way acting like them. Neither do the ones around me. I admit I am a little weird, but my friends, while they do get a little physical sometimes (like hug or something, though I don't know why) but never like those two. Attraction is literally written all over their faces. And I refuse to believe it's a cultural thing. So I'm kinda mad at KyoAni for making them so gay for nothing. But I still like the show and kinda ship the two.

Sorry for the long post. I rarely have an opportunity to talk about these things with someone.

EDIT: Also forgot to add, that Bloom into You is easily the best yuri, because honestly most of the yuri suck. I read a lot of them and enjoy them, but hardly any can reach the level Bloom Into You did. There was Fluttering Feelings (which is webtoon but whatever) but... that

Me too,i don't care if they make Kumiko end up with Shuichii. For me,Kumiko and Reina are already married and they adopted three cats.
Yes, honestly it is frustrating, unfortunately you will find a lot of "yuri bait" in anime a little old. If there is chemistry between two female characters or if a female character likes girls in an anime that is not specifically "yuri" what more likely it will end in straight. In Japan there is still that belief of: "a girl only likes a girl because she has not found 'the right man'"
