Restrain of personal insults.
You have no right for such behavior.

... lolololol. I don't know how you got "personal insult" from me calling a theory about these characters being drugged "wackadoo", but, you know, you do you.

You weren't clear in your writing is it about theory, or personal insult. There's no need to be disrespectful in disagreements.
Anyway, I already gave few facts above, on which my opinions are based. You are giving just unclear presumptions trying to deny my words, and mock to it with vanity laugh.
I'm not upset by your behavior, for "crashing" this "wackadoo" theory or right to call it "wackadoo" you must have real arguments. And you don't have it, nor will have. I'm not the one to be upset, ha ha.

-There is a heavy subtext of past and present sexual abuse. Disassociative disorder is usually due to abuse, and Ayuko displays other red flags as well. There are problematic statements: "All the crimes I've committed" in the monologue at the beginning of chapter 5, or telling Asuka that it's "probably my fault" for her daughter's incestuous desires. And a highly codependent relationship anyway. Given that her mother is a pharmacist, with access to sedatives and depressants (including insomnia drugs whose side effects include short term memory loss, and were popular with Japanese rapists a few years ago), and demonstrates dodgy professional ethics, there is the strong suggestion that Ayuko has been clandestinely abusing Asuka, and the latter only has a few fragmented memories to inform her.

Actually, I did not start this "wacky" theory, someone else wrote it. I just connected it with Asuka's flashbacks, and strange behavior of Ayako (oblivion state).
There's more "between lines" in this manga than common eye can notice at first sight.
I'm just restraining of judging them, whatever truth is.
And I would not call it "Ayako abused Asuka", rather, drugs abused them (Ayako did not have intention to do it consciously, it happened without presence of her will as well) .
Also, there is a scene when Asuka caught Akira above sleeping Ayako (chapter 7 pg 13 https://dynasty-scans.com/chapters/1_x_ch07#13 ), so it's possible that Akira abused Ayako same way, and "infected" her, something like a chain reaction, what caused Ayako in drugged state to do it to her daughter, without being conscious why it happens, and without being conscious at all...

And, when Asuka was with her sempai, it initiated her subconsciousness toward her mother (she can't remember, but her senses perceived taste, smell, touch of her mother, and she got flashbacks)

I that case, only this "wacky" theory explains logically what could have happened.
They don't remember, influenced by ...something.

edit:
Person who wrote comment was not clear is it about theory or personal insult, writing nonsense.
Anyway, my next comment written under this one is obviously not "wacky" in every sense. Because I gave the facts, not presumptions.

So the implication is that Ayako realized ... something ... even as Asuka was still in middle school? Does that really make sense looking back at the first chapters, where she seemed fairly oblivious? :?

Well, she is really like in "half-dreaming" state, and there's a new theory spreading around how she (working in pharmacy) used some stuff and probably committed some crimes in such a state, putting them both under influences of some stuff.
So, Asuka's flashback about Ayako while she was with sempai is her subconscious "memory".
Parallel, Ayako experiences some strange realizations during her lunch (and she acted in bed very strange (half-"possesed"). It's very possible something happened between them, but they don't know. And now subconscious "context" of both, appears finding the way.

Kinda makes me wonder if Asuka's mom subconsciously knew she flicked the bean that evening. I mean how could you not pick up on that.

Probably it's true. But it's not clear was Asuka in her bed, and what she was doing in her bed before falling asleep. So, there are two possibilities why her panties are ruined... Or maybe it was from both cases?
Anyway, scene was hot...

So, flashbacks about mother when Asuka was with her sempai are actually "consequences'' of being abused by her mother in unconscious state...
But it seems that Ayako was also under influence of something when it happened (like she is half-aware, taking it like, a dreaming state of mind).

From that, subconscious "context" will take a shot in reality. They will do something lewd with each other, activating "loss of memory"

It's interesting manga about loosen subconscious energy. It's atomic bomb effect, in reality.
This manga is true, this setting. It does not matter from which prism this phenomenon is observed (like incest, in this case).

It's only a question will she have a strength to give up from what she has, starting new life completely, or she will just "play a little bit" (exactly what black-haired woman is afraid of).
If she feels dead in marriage (because sometimes marriage is just a grave for both parts if it's based on lies), than she should choose life (if she feels alive with a woman, she should not behave like a vampire who returns to grave after breathing some light and oxygen-it's not enough to truly be alive)

Clearly, both women are exhausted, living in own sorts of patterns.
Will they have the strength to break the vicious cycles for new beginning? (It also opens possibility to black haired woman for meeting someone out of her pattern)
Curious to see how complicated situation truly is, for all of them.
So, restraining to judge before knowing more about them (is cheating someone else with other person real cheating if someone lives in denial? )
Will they have enough reasons to be together, or not, depends of author. Let's see how this very realistic story goes...

They should not stay confused for so long, and get some real actions soon...
It's good to have a tension at the beginning, but not forever, they should start touching and kissing very soon or whole yuri population will suffer to the extremes.
All is already cute, but making it even cuter is a need. Hoping it will go that way. Very soon.

She burnt her past...
Story is very poetic and goes deeper and deeper in complexity.
Curious to see further development, with very high expectations, with reasons.

Kimi wa shoujo is an extreme of all age gaps, and there is discussion was it rape or not.
This manga has nothing with it.

Anyway, avoiding a certain tags is fine. I rarely read "animal ears" tag, not losing my time on it. Without any intention to insult people who love it, but I'm not going there to spit against it. It's all about preferences. And behavior.

It's the question, why people don't use their choices, when they have them? Tags serve to give proper directions.
If something makes me angry, and I know it will, I will not be curious to test my tolerance over and over, than simply avoid it, focusing on what I love and what makes me feel good.

Indeed something happens at age 25. It's like "boiled blood" is settling down and some contemplative phase begins. That age personally for me was the year of start a great spiritual growth.

But people can't change consent to "number" 25 where I suppose maturity truly begins. Somehow, all before 25 is like "wild age", gaining experiences, time to "touch the fires" and learn about it. Time for sexual explorations and figuring out sexuality ( it begins with hormones, so, very early)
No one should be taken seriously or seriously judged before 25 (if it's not endangering others, what is rare in that age).
After 25 responsibility changes, because awareness is changing. Seeing comments about it (including personal experience), now I'm pretty sure it's true (I did not have a chance to exchange opinions with others about it, until now).

In that case, any age gap with someone above 25 should be very positive experience for younger person. If it's based on true love. Even just sexual exploration with responsible person can be useful experience for younger (of course, not too much younger; in that case, no one truly responsible would risk it).

What means a phrase "she is hard work"? If anyone could explain why Miwa was crying being hurt hearing it, appreciate.

What they mean is that Miwa is a difficult person to deal with. Being around her is stressful or emotionally draining. because one feels compelled to attend to her emotional needs. Probably something along the lines of "high maintenance".

Thank you very much, now I understand better what it was about...
Sometimes phrases in other languages and parts of the world can't be so clear for people who live in other places, and here it happened to me and I really needed to ask.
You are very kind and helped me to understand, appreciate.

P.S. Not so sure that I can still find adequate phrase in my language, but the closest could be "hard walnut", I think...It's when person is like in a shell, and if you try to break it with teeth you get hurt your teeth, not the shell...Probably that's it.

You know what? That genre is not controversial in Japan and in many other places.

I'm not even "into" age gap, but I still find irritating the people shitting on every single instance of that kind of work, without even looking at the quality of writing, or the characters' psychology.

This manga looks pretty well done and the MC looks like someone sensible. It's not like she's going to bed the JK right away. And people continue to confuse love with sexual attraction.

Murica and its satellites are not representing the standard of morality. Especially when they are proud to have a known sexual predator as a president, with a 24 years age difference with his wife.

Applauding to your last paragraph! You made my day! (also, everything you said is on point)

What I don't like about these age gap ones is that the adult always has to act like an infantile fucking moron
I'm 28 and no way and hell would I let a 15 year old girl fall for me
She's a child dawg
(Of course I know why the younger one is usually the pursuer than it would be even more fucking creepy)
Like that one age gap yuri with the big noises

I know what you are talking. I felt creepy at 16 when some 6 years old kid said he fell in love with me. It was terrible feeling. I avoided him as a plague.
Problem was, I could not control who would fall in love with me, and in my 16 he wasn't the only one (other was 8 who "confessed" and other was 12). It was some school vacation camp with many ages of kids there...
And they were pursuers, as you said, it really was extremely creepy.

But, manga is fiction, anyway. Love is wonderful in every shape. I really like age gap in manga, even in reality age gap was a burden to me.

Ironic how pedos and human traffickers-trolls are coming here to condemn age gap to move people to "defend" them, and feel "justified".
No one is defending pedos and human traffickers here writing about age gap as the love story. Those "puritans" are the most suspected doing exactly what they condemn. That's usually how it is in reality, pure psychology.

Ha, ha, go and put your eggs (obviously poisonous) somewhere else, you can't make this manga disappear, ha ha. So cluck however you want, you are helpless to change anything.
